  1. I’ve got news for you. It is exactly why he’s not playing. So that useless scrubs can get beaten in the return game. My biggest issue with this coaching staff I think at this point. I know McD is going to make some dumb gameday calls. I know he will screw up some clock issues. I know he will mismanage timeouts, challanges, and the ability to find the right situational awareness when it matters. But for the life of me I cannot figure out why he continues to dress some of the players he does while he leaves others inactive or on the PS on gameday. Playoff Lenny has been aching to get in there. And I get that the RBs have generally been playing well, but you went out and picked this guy up for a reason. To not use him is a crime.
  2. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen someone doubled and triple covered so much as Megatron and he would still come down with it. The defenses knew it was going there and there was nothing they could do to stop it. I’m not arguing that Rice wasn’t amazing. I’m arguing that Megatron was the most dominant WR that I’ve ever seen play. Different kinds of players. Still, if I was choosing an all time team and I had my first shot at any WR to ever play the game. It’s would be Megatron and it wouldn’t be close for me. In fact I’d pick multiple other WRs over Rice in that scenario. Moss, Owens, Harrison for sure. Guys like Hill are the new Rices. Amazing at route running and just so damn fast. In the end, Hill may have a shot at some records if he stays healthy and his speed doesn’t drop off a cliff.
  3. So… playing 4 hears less he’d be only 700 yards short. That’s 1 season right there, or maybe just some phenomenal years in the middle to make up for it. Same thing with the receptions and TDs. 2-3 years at the most and he has those as well. Not to mention the passing game in the league has become more and more wide open now than even when he played. Yes, I know that argument is there for Rice as well. But Rice played until he was 40+. He was also on teams that were more ahead of their times than anyone else in the league at the time. Maybe the Oilers were close. But nobody was slinging it like the 49ers were back in the day.
  4. Here’s where I’m at. If he is an actually LB then maybe not a bad move. But I will say Dotson has been playing very well lately. And Bernard is a stud. For a backup and keep on PS maybe but not sure he wants that.
  5. Yeah I know they always have issues. Happened in channel 4 earlier in the year. I had my hi def antenna out for games in preseason for that reason. It was all fixed for the regular season if I’m not mistaken. Usually the local games are always on 4 but because this is exclusive to Peacock it’s in 2 only. And that is my issue this week. I’ve seen the threads about people boycotting and not watching or paying the $6 for a membership. That’s ridiculous imo. It’s going to continue to happen. Even more now that streaming has become bigger and bigger. The NFL isn’t worried about it and likely laughs their way to the bank every year after all their tv contracts earn them billions more than they did the years before. Holding out and boycotting only affects your ability to watch your team. It only hurts you.
  6. I feel your pain. Bit in the end it is and will continue to work for them. Your holdout does nothing but affect you watching your favorite team. They’ve made their money already and know at some point you’ll come crawling back. And likely at a higher price next year.
  7. He doesn’t meet your criteria of being 6’5” but Brashad Perriman ran something like a 4.25. He’s 6’2” I think. He is like the perfect size and speed package. Seemed to always be nursing something. Or not giving his all. Similar to Sammy boo-boo foot Watkins as far as desire to play the game.
  8. Yeah that cannot add to. I’ll say this, as a former track athlete and huge fan of Usain Bolt. That man was a freak. It’s not usual to have a man with that height to be that fast/quick. But he was. He just gobbled up the track with his long legs. He was not always the fastest starter out of the blocks but his legs just ate up the track. Usually it’s shorter sprinters that have the quicker movement in their legs. Bolt was something special. Had everything. But that’s why his 200m WR is more impressive than his 100m WR. The 100m records have historically gotten faster and faster over time. But with the exception of Michael Johnson (another long legged freak) the 200m WR has stood since the 1970s.
  9. Calvin Johnson was a cheat code. The best WR I’ve ever seen play and it’s not even close. I don’t care what the arguments are for Rice. Johnson would have destroyed every Rice record if he played 17 years. Which would have been 4 years less than Rice. Dude was a monster.
  10. Thought this might help some people understand before it’s too late. Anyone else in the WNY area have Directv? Well, as of right now there’s a contract dispute between DTV and Tegna. So if you are trying to view the game this week on channel 2. You’ll need to find another way. I haven’t checked yet but I’m assuming the Peacock app will work. Or there’s always the old bunny ears approach. Good luck this Saturday.
  11. Well. After this weekend it’s looking like Dak and Hurts should be out of the picture. Tua looked good without Hill so that should bump Hill down a notch. If anything it builds up Tua a bit more. And the argument for Purdy and CMC is so strange. Don’t even know who the mvp of that team is. How can they be the mvp of the league if they can’t distance themselves on their own team? Purdy is just a guy. CMC is great but he would need to finish with over 2,000 yards from scrimmage and he’ll need 25+ TDS to do that. Not sure that’s happening.

  13. Yeah I don’t think he’s worth what we payed for him. Like I’ve said multiple times. I think he’s fine if you expect him to be the 3rd best guy on your line. But he’s getting paid to be the best guy not only on the line but one of the best in the league and he just isn’t. But like I said multiple times, I expect him to be extended to push some money down the road. And honestly, if we can expect what we’ve gotten out of him lately I could accept it. But man we’re gonna be pissed if he drops off at all after getting another contract with top 5 money. At his age and his inability to keep away from the buffet I’m not convinced it’s a good move.
  14. I am about here with you. wanted Dawkins at guard for a long time. Think it would be beneficial to him. Maybe not money wise but play wise. Problem with keeping him is his pay. He’s going to get top 5 LT money when he’s up and imo he’s no where near that. 10th highest? Sure. Not top 5. At his age and his inconsistency I think it’s better to let him walk when the contract is up. Especially if 4 other spots on your line are solidified. Which might not be the case by the time Dawkins is up anyway.
  15. Again. That’s where we differ. You obviously think Dawkins is very good. I think he’s average for a LT and replaceable. Especially for the contract he’s going to expect
  16. Don’t get me wrong. I still would prefer a new LT. I don’t like Dawkins. But I am giving his credit for likely having his best year and likely his best game ever last night. I still don’t want to pay him another big contract. Would rather find a journeyman vet and draft one in the 2-3rd rd and hope for the best.
  17. Because I don’t have rose colored glasses on. He’s been playing his best ball in years. I agree with that. However he’s also been a disappointment at times. I get that nobody plays a perfect game all the time. I’d rather live without his mistakes. He also appears to be really good for the team and locker room. I completely understand that he’s likely not going anywhere. They have Jaurons number on speed dial in case of emergency.
  18. That’s why u said I fully expect he will be extended this offseason. Honestly, I’m not happy about it but if it saves us money and gives us the ability to pick up a FA somewhere else, or maybe resign AJ or Floyd then I’m all for it. Like I said, if you’re expecting him to be your best OLmen then I think you’re in for disappointment. But if you expect him to be on par with 1-2 others then I think you’re ok. He’s not good enough to raise the level of play around him imo but he is good enough to hang with them if you have a few others that are playing good to great ball. McGovern is the best thing to ever happen to him in a Bills uniform imo. And the rest of the line has played extremely well barring a few mishaps.
  19. Probably the main reason why Dawkins has looked better this year. He doesn’t have to worry about a useless scrub at LG. for the record I still think Dawkins is a fat tub of goo and would be happy with finding his replacement. But he did have a really good game yesterday. And at the same time I’m not against him staying. I look at it this way, 2 years ago and up until this year really, people are expecting Dawkins to be your best OLmen. He is not that. But he can easily be your 3rd best OLmen. And I’m not saying anyone has distanced themselves from Dawkins in this regard. But overall the OL play is and has been consistently better. Therefore eliminating Dawkins need to be your best guy on the line. Either way I don’t expect him to be going anywhere. In fact I see him as getting an extension this offseason and creating a little more cap space while they’re at it.
  20. I think this is the biggest thing. While the Bills and Dolphins game may be the best game of the year at that point, you cannot take out the possibility of win and in scenarios. They are drama filled gold for the NFL. It’ll all come down to next few weeks to see what they do with it. But I think win and in or go home wins out
  21. He didn’t. People just have short memories because it’s happened like 3 times this year. So now any chance they get they want to chit talk him as much as possible.
  22. Fire the returner. Because HarDLY sucks
  23. I wouldn’t have picked Cook in the first round that’s for sure. But my argument still holds true to why you should draft a first round RB. Because you get one extra season out of them as a first rounder on a reasonable contract. If Cook continues to play well going into next season, he will be unsignable considering our cap situation right now. And the continued arguments that RBs are a dime a dozen and you shouldn’t pay them large 2nd contracts. As of tonight he’s #2in the league in rushing yards and #3 in the league in total yards from scrimmage.
  24. Don’t look now but Cook is 2nd in rushing yards in the NFL behind only CMC. And 3rd in total yards from scrimmage behind CMC and Hill.
