Yeah. It was you that jumped into the conversation that you weren’t a part of. Hiding behind an alias no less.. Only 500 posts in 6 years. Just screams your alter ego standing up for yourself once and for all. But somehow I can’t let it go. Here, I’ll be the bigger man and stop replying. I’m guessing you won’t do the same. Because you’re a child that thinks youre special. Heres a hint, you aren’t.

I agree that could be a mindset. I still don’t believe it was a bad decision. Just a bad throw. An underthrown ball. It happens quite a bit with him. If something is wrong I wish I knew. I can’t put my finger on it. Because he’s got probably the strongest arm in the league. But he underthrows guys a lot.

For crying out loud, did Damien Harris die (sarcasm)?!

Watching him run he has looked very good. Fast. Agile. Strong. And I don’t disagree that he’s JAG. But nobody has looked special minus Cook last week. He’s looked good, but nothing that’s jumping off the table that screams star in this league. -
Yeah. I get it. You butted into a conversation you didn’t belong in. Now all the sudden you want to be a part of it. It’s ok guy. One of these days you’ll be able to sit at the big table with the adults.
-
We’ve been going back and forth all morning. Stay out of the conversation when adults are talking. The kids table is in the other room with the small fold up chairs.
-
It’s ok. You’ll figure it out one of these days. I know it’s tough when you get older though.

McDermott and his love for playing football like it’s the 1970s

Sure thing guy

That will depend on any injuries I suspect. Of guys are hurt, banged up. Etc he may get some chances. I’m honestly surprised he touched the ball and was on the field as much as he was last night. But surprised that after Cook had some slipper hands that they didn’t go to him more actually. -
I’m done with you here. Enjoy

I’ve figured it all out. You are McDermott posting here under an alias. You’re an OldManFan. Even though McDermott isn’t actually old. His football philosophy is. He wants to run the ball 40 times a game and wants his QB to be a game manager. Anytime a QB takes a chance at a home run you quiver inside thinking it could have been 3 yards on the ground instead. Enjoy your hatred for a pass friendly football game and go watch highlights from Jim Brown games instead.

Right. Ifs and buts. You’re saying he makes bad decisions. In saying he makes some bad throws. There’s a difference.

Probably because he will be cheap. Keep Cook, Johnson, and find another vet for the Murray role. Maybe Lenny comes back at a reasonable rate. That may depend on how we use him the rest of the way and if he wants to be here or not. -
Again I have been the most vocal here about Josh and his deep throws falling short. It’s happened for years now and I’ve been shut down time and time again. But this is not the time to make an argument about his decision to throw that ball. Diggs was open. One step with single coverage on someone like Diggs is about as open as you can expect in the NFL. The problem wasn’t the decision to throw it. It was the throw itself. You want to chalk it up to not having good footing or throwing it across body, or maybe it’s Joshs arm is hurt like many are claiming. Fine. But the fact is, the ball was under thrown by at least 2-3 yards. And if it’s not it’s a TD.
-
I can’t vouch for Diggs. I think he’s been at least doing something. He’s got some catches. Some yards. I’m just here to comment about the coaching staff. It’s the same coaching staff that keeps trotting NON Miller out there to do nothing but get blocked out of every single play and then stand up and watch the play unfold while he thinks about how he wants to assault his Gf again.
-
Whatever man. Diggs had more than a step on his single coverage with no safety help. If Josh doesnt under throw that ball it’s a sure TD

I think he’s looked as good or better than Cook minus the game last week. Of course he doesn’t have the stats or immediate impact that Cook has had. But he’s also not getting the opportunities that Cook is either. I think TJ in a role similar to Cooks and he produces very similarly. He’s look faster, and stronger than Cook imo. Again, minus maybe the last 2-3 games. -
Not when your best WR is wide open for a should be TD.
-
It wasn’t dumb because it was a wide open Diggs that should have been a long TD play. He just underthrew it. Like has happened multiple times
-
So are we just done expecting Von Miller to do anything?
mrags replied to dayman's topic in The Stadium Wall
Non Miller is terrible and shouldn’t even be wearing a jersey on the sideline. Anyone off the PS would give more than this clown is right now. It’s not just his play on the field that sucks. It’s his entire package. Not only does he suck, he looks like he’s giving less than zero effort out there. McD and Beane look like fools more and more every play he’s on the field. Just make this clown inactive for the Pats game. Maybe it will light a fire under him or something. -

Fwiw I really liked Harris coming here. Thought he would be our #1 back before mid season. And that may have been true if he didn’t get injured. but I will say this. With the exception of last last, Cook has really impressed me. And Ty Johnson has looked incredible. -

Yeah doesn’t look good. Is he even on IR? Thought they should have ran Playoff Lenny more last night btw. Especially after Cook kept coughing up the ball. Was a 1 year deal wasn’t it? -
Last night wasn’t a dumb pick. It was underthrown. Something some of us have noticed for a long time now. Don’t get me wrong. Josh is great. He’s got the best and baddest arm in the league. But he will under throw wide open receivers on should be TDs. Not sure what it is with him. Maybe he’s throwing off footing. Maybe he’s on the run and can’t plant his feet. Maybe he’s being hurried and throwing off a back foot. Maybe he doesn’t have time and using all arm. Maybe he’s throwing it cross body 40+ yards and across the field. It doesn’t matter. It happens and it’s looks bad when he does it.
-
lol. How you figure? He’s got 2 less passing TDs than Purdy right now. Like 20 yards less than Purdy while being 150 or so short of the league lead. He’s currently 3rd in passing yards, 3rd in passing TDs. And 3rd in rushing TDs for the entire league. Tied with CMC btw for rushing TDs. He currently is #1 in Touchdowns in the entire league with 40. A not even close second is Hurts with 33 and then Purdy wirh 31. Dak is 4th with 30. So…. I’d say that Josh could spot every other player in the league 2 games. And they still wouldn’t catch his TD total.

Just wanted to jump in here and wave at everyone that has been behind Hardly all year. How’s it going?
