  1. Yeah the article I read about it factored in the cap increase. It was projected as the same jump from last year I think. I don’t remember what the number was.
  2. He’ll easily redo Josh’s contract and clear like 20m+ alone. Add Dawkins to the list. Knox to the list. Johnson to the list. Give Tre an option to take a more team friendly and incentive laden deal or be cut. Do the same with Poyer. Boom. We’ll have 20-30m available before you know it.
  3. Can’t the Browns finish ahead of them? Or the Dolphins, even if we win the Div? I think you are correct in that
  4. Yes. I think the top. Super pass heavy teams. Usually the teams with 2 studs at WR have better options. But only until they become FAs. Like I mentioned. Out of those players you’ve mentioned. I doubt Higgins staying Cincy. He’ll be paid true #1 money elsewhere. When Waddle is up for contract he will get the same. Godwin is too old for that boat. So is Kirk but he already got that treatment years ago. Those teams got lucky by drafting studs and getting multiple players on team friendly, or rookie deals. It won’t last long. as far as Davis’ skill set. That depends on what you want out of a WR. But I’d guess that McConservative absolutely finds Davis’ skillset to be extremely important. He’s a good blocker. For a conservative run heavy team. Lol Ugh. Just stop. He’s 39th in the league in yards on that list. You do realize that each team has 2 starting WRs? You do realize that there’s 32 teams in the league? You do know that 32x2 is 64? So obviously he is in the midway point of #2s in the league. Even better than some #1s. Justin Jefferson is below him on that list so he must be better than Justin Jefferson right? and with all joking aside. He’s top 10 for TDs in the ENTIRE LEAGUE. You can’t ask for much more than that out of a #2
  5. Oh yeah. That’s right. Well. There’s a way the Chiefs could be lower than the 3 no? That’s what I meant
  6. So, to be clear. Out of all the guys in the league. You would rather have 9 guys than Davis. And push at 11. and my argument is that he’s easily top 50% of #2s in this league. And without looking, I’d imagine he’s got similar yards to at least half of them. And more TDs than most of them. And he was completely MIA for 4-5 games. I understand what you’re saying. I’m just saying, after all that, you could only come up with 9 guys that you absolutely would rather have than Davis. I would argue that when some of those guys contracts are up, Waddle, Higgins, Smith, Addison, they will all be paid like #1s and are likely considered #1s. Davis is not a bad #2. The problem is peoples expectations of what a #2 actually is. For the 9 number 2s that you pointed out I bet I could find at least 5+ number 1s that he’s clearly better than.
  7. If we were the 2 and they were the 3 it could mean that they have to go to Balt in the Div round. Beat them, then have to come to Buffalo for the AFCCG. No?
  8. But Jefferson was injured. It’s a fact. End of the day who has better stats. And I say that not even knowing. It doesn’t matter what guys are injured or aren’t. and TEs don’t count. We’re talking WRs and if Gabe is better than the #2 on other teams in the league. I’m not doing the work here. I really dont need to be proven correct. But if you want to go down the list and tell me what #2s you’d rather have over Gabe I’m all ears.
  9. I was just joking. no need to assume anything about what I posted. yes. This entire team has not only given up a crap ton of turnovers. Not just Allen but the RBs. The WRs. The returners. Everyone. But….. I would like to point out that the take that “it’s not a coaching” thread may be incorrect. The Bills have lost a historically unbalanced number of fumbles. It’s practically impossible to lose as many as we have. At some point the “bad bounce” “bad luck” argument doesn’t hold water. At some point we need to ask the question as to why we are historically bad at fumbling and recovering fumbles. Or throwing Ints for that matter. Somewhere, coaching has to be held accountable.
  10. That would be a gift. Let’s hope for a Chiefs loss tomorrow
  11. Ok. That’s 5 teams. Who are the others? and I’m not trying to be a dick here. And I am really not going to bother myself looking it up. Can you just tell me what WR on the Chiefs has more yards and TDs than Gabe Davis? And the 49ers and Jags, are they including the TEs like in expecting you did with the Chiefs also? facts are facts. Davis is statistically in the category of being better than more than half other teams in the leagues #2 WRs. And I bet he’s statistically better than some teams number 1s in yards. And he’s top 8 in the league in TDs. That’s not an easy task considering all those other great WRs that many want to talk about how they are so much better than Gabe. it’s obvious he hasn’t been great. He’s been missing for 4-5 games this year completely. And yet he’s still on the board for being a top WR in the league. Imagine what some team will offer him thinking what they could get out of him if they game plan around him. The guy is gonna get paid. Top 2 money at the very least.
  12. I think it’s helpfull that it pointed out what we needed specifically for each seed. I want more than just making it into the playoffs. I want the division. I want a home game. Hell, I want 2 or more home games. maybe that tweet is incorrect regarding what needs to happen for each seeding. Or maybe it’s not. I haven’t done the leg work. I’m not about to play around with the playoff calculator here and over again all day for different scenarios. I’m not about to figure out the who’s who and what needs to happen with all the tie breakers like conference wins and strength of schedule. I like the way this tweet had everything broken down. If you are saying it’s wrong be use we don’t need all that to be in the playoffs then we’re having different arguments. If what they said is incorrect, then I’d like to see a specific breakdown of what exactly is needed for each seed that has been fact checked. But I’m not spending my time to figure it out.
  13. Is this secretly another “Josh throws too many ints” and “Josh isn’t really in mvp consideration” thread?
  14. Yeah I’d love to know what’s wrong about it
  15. This breaks it down the best and easiest to follow.
  16. 3 out of 4 games so far today going our way. Can’t hate it. Miamis loss was always more likely against the Ravens anyway. We’ve done what we needed to do so far and got some help. Can’t be mad at it.
  17. That’s understandable and a good argument. Top 10 in TD catches and 40th in yards considering there’s 64 starters at WR in the league however says that he’s definitely 2. And that’s with being completely missing for what, 4 games?
  18. Thank you. So lose all 3 and help. Any clue who they are in major contention with regarding ties, etc?
  19. Can someone who’s already done the leg work tell me is there a way that we make the playoffs as Div champs and Miami doesn’t make it in at all? I’m assuming they need to lose out as well as some help. But I’m not sure if that help screws us out of ranking. Just curious if someone has done this scenario yet?
  20. Right. This 100%. If Allen isn’t in the discussion there is only 3 others allowed in the discussion. CMC. Hill. Mostert. Because Allen blows away all of the QB stats by a mile. He’s top 3 in yards, passing TDS, and number 1 by a mile in total TDs. If Allen shouldn’t be in the conversation, then Purdy, Tua, Prescott, Hurts and Jackson don’t belong in the conversation either. IMO, Purdy and CMC cancel each other out. How can you have 2 guys on the same offense worthy of the title. And if we’re making that argument, Tua, Hill, and Mostert all cancel each other out.
  21. This——-^ thank you fwiw, I don’t really care about the MVP. I want to win the whole damn thing. But it’s seriously funny how he isn’t getting much play for the MVP, especially on a Bills message board no less, considering he is leading the league total of TDs by 7 over Hurts, 9 more than Purdy, and 10 more than Dak. Yet somehow all these guys are in the MVP talk more than Josh is. All because of a few extra ints.
  22. If we’re not Lucky. Or even Unlucky. Does that mean it’s bad coaching? Because you can’t not be lucky or unlucky and still have these many things go wrong. It’s got to be something.
  23. He’s not really that far behind. After this week is finished he’s still likely to be 3rd or 4th in passing yards. 4th in rushing TDs (including RBs) and still 3rd in passing TDs. Be he will still be in the league lead in overall TDs unless somehow Hurts scores 7 times this game and Purdy scores 9 times. Like I said, he leads the league in overall TDs by a wide margin. He could probably take the rest of the year off and still not be caught by Purdy or Hurts
  24. Lol. This board was so much better before you people came aboard. I still find it funny guy, that you jumped into a conversation that didn’t involve you. Insulting people from the start. And then continue to not let it go like a little baby. Keep posting guy. Looks great on you.
