Need a capable backup quarterback next season.
mrags replied to margolbe's topic in The Stadium Wall
For anything over vet minimum it’s too much considering the cap strapped hell we will be in. Not to mention, that pretty much no matter what, If Allen goes down we’re not going anywhere anyway. -
Yeah I didn’t think Rodgers would be all that great anyway. The dude is a fossil now. Was expected that he would miss some time because of his age anyway. I have no doubt they would have been better but for all the extra games they would have won, they would have taken some away from teams that we were also in contention with. Like the Phins, Pats, Chiefs

I couldn’t sit and watch all 16min of the vid I saw. But looked pretty cool. I’ll continue to say I have no doubt we will end up with an awesome stadium. But could have been so much more -

I remember the offseason when people were calling for the Jets to take the AFC by storm because of Aaron Rodgers and then Dalvin Cook. Like they were amassing a pro bowl team that nobody could match. And then boom, 4 minutes into the season Rodgers is down and Cook….. well, wasn’t every really that special.

Long conversation between McD and Belichick
mrags replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah because only well known coaches have ever won the SB. That is until a new guy comes out of nowhere and wins a SB. Hope I’m wrong. So far however we’ve never won one. And McD has proven to have been outcoached in games that matter when they matter most. -

I didn’t listen. But what’s even more interesting hearing this. Isn’t that it wasn’t brought up to him at all. It’s that he didn’t bring it up at all. -

Draft one in like rd 4-5 and keep him for the foreseeable future. -
So sorry for your loss of Hilda. Always the hardest thing losing a pup. My wife and I were a mess when we lost our 16 year old Shi-poo. Even though she had been getting worse and worse she still loved laying in our laps and being with us all the time, she went very sudden. One minute she was perfectly fine, and the next minute she had had a seizure brought on by a brain tumor. She passed that night. we went a few weeks mourning her. And one day we went to go play with some puppies and found our new little girl. She’s been the light of our lives ever since. And we have no doubt that things happened exactly the way they were meant to. just know that Hilda loved being part of your family and knows you loved her too. And know that Bernard will do the same.

Extra points for you for taking my post so literal. -

It’s literally like the first time ever Josh has looked anything like that in the field. Probably because he knows that his mega-ultra conservative coach keeps doing things to lose games. your opinion is fine. If you want to make it into the playoffs and get outcoached most games. I’ll say it again like I’ve always said it. McDermott is good enough to get you in the conversation. He’s not good enough to win the whole thing. Sure, with as many cracks near the top as he gets he’s probably gonna get lucky at least once. Specially with a HOF QB. The guy that’s going to score more TDs than any player in history not named Brady because he played for a quarter century. It’ll be a shame when it’s all over and Josh has one measly ring or less to show for it. All thanks to McDucky. -

So 1 draft out of 7 he picked an offensive player. -

Well. We absolutely needed a linemen so I have no doubt about Torrence. But let’s be real, it’s the first offensive first round pick McDermott has ever made other than Allen. Stats are stats. And half of his 2nd and 3rd rounders have been RBs that don’t even play for the team anymore. -
lol. K

Yup. A DT or S. It’s a shame we have a defensive minded coach -
The line absolutely sucked last game. It’s only because of Allen he didn’t get sacked 10+ times.

Great. He’s Marvin Lewis I don’t care how many times he makes it into the playoffs. If he’s going to coach like a pansy and go for FGs all the time because he coaches not to lose rather than to win games he’s going to cost us. Again, with the best QB we’ve ever had, or will ever have. put Allen on 90%+ teams in this league with anyone coaching and your likely to make the playoffs. -
Oh get ready. They are definitely drafting S and DT before WR.

You know that saying about wishing in one hand and crapping in the other and seeing which fills up first. Well….

I need to go to your school of negotiating. My bill just went up $50/mo. To a mind numbing $190/mo. Time for me to call and threaten to leave again I guess

I am a Bills fan and that is why I want to be rid of McDermott. I actually want them to have the highest level of success in this sport. Not just linger around the playoffs every year. Wasting away the greatest player the Bills have ever had, or will ever have. -
Playoff Lenny should be active rest of year...

Murray was terrible today. It should be Lenny the rest of the way. We’ll see. Normally I’d say there’s. I way McD makes that call but he did bench Non Miller today.
