  1. And that’s the reasonable part of it. It’s the 20k PSL that’s not reasonable for the same seat. But I understand why the Bills are doing it. Like I’ve said many times over, with less suites in the new stadium, they are targeting the Suite audience towards those very expensive PSL tickets. Still cheaper than the suites they were used to. But likely too much for most every day people who have clubs now. I in probably the cheapest club seats in the stadium. I think my tix are right around $2500/ticket. I’m fully prepared that my tickets will like increase by 50-100%. It’s the PSL that will make my decision. Being outside the yardage marker, into the end zones, I don’t imagine my PSLs will be very much compared to the prices that people are seeing now. But they will likely be 3-5k I imagine. Which as long as I’m covered, heated, and comfortable, I’m fine with it.
  2. You better believe that as soon as ticket prices around the league have risen to the point of unattainable by the real fan, they will raise tv rates. It’s 100% a guarantee. In fact it’s probably Their end game. There’s way more money in it that ticket sales.
  3. You are out if your mind.
  4. That doesn’t mean that Beane wasn’t waiting to hear if he was interested in coming back before reaching out to someone else
  5. Wonder if Beane was waiting for some kind of announcement from him. And maybe he pulls the trigger on another vet soon. Or maybe just grabs one on draft day.
  6. Well. It would be extremely hard to gameplan and practice for
  7. Geez. How many crappy QBs do they need?
  8. And to think I opened this topic thinking there would be any actual new information other than the ridiculous suite ticket holders that are going to take the 50 yard line seats and piss all the 40 year seniority people off. Haven’t we already been through this? In like 2-3 other threads no less?
  9. I was agreeing in the context of them believing they know what the definition is. Not according Webster. and now I don’t like you again
  10. Holy crap. I agree with you for once
  11. I had to give up a 1st and 5th next year. But I couldn’t be happier. For whatever reason he began to fall so I jumped on it. Started the attempt to try and trade up once he made it to 11. Offered every team something from 11 to 17. 17. Malik Nabers WR LSU 54. T'Vondre Sweat DT Texas 114. Maason Smith DT LSU 128. Kitan Oladapo S Oregon State 133. Cedric Johnson EDGE Ole Miss 144. Javon Baker WR UCF 163. Nehemiah Pritchett CB Auburn 189. Isaac Guerendo RB Louisville 200. Sundiata Anderson EDGE Grambling State 204. Anim Dankwah OT Howard 248. Nelson Ceaser EDGE Houston
  12. It’s happening everywhere. 2 malls in Amherst/Williamsville are already greenlit for the projects. The McKinley mall within a mile of the stadium I guarantee will be the next in line. Once the stadium is complete, if it’s not already in the works. Someone with enough money for the project will definitely want to capitalize on it. If it doesn’t happen I’d be shocked.
  13. Thank you so much for this. Regardless where you fall on the WR debate. I hate people claiming the false definition of insanity. I find it so comical that you can explain so easily why you would want to give our superstar QB more weapons. Or why it’s a waste to continue to spend resource after resource in a defense that continues to be near the top of the league during the season but all the sudden fall apart in the playoffs. It’s just hilarious.
  14. It’s also why McKinley mall will end up shuttering completely and they will rebuild it like they are planning with both the Blvd mall and eastern hills malls. A city center with restaurants, shops, parks, apartments, and likely some hotel space. Being that close to the stadium as well as the 90 it’s a no brainer. I can see Pegula spending some serious cash to help develop that in the very near future.
  15. Agree 100%. I Wouldn’t care what useless bodies we get at any other positions. If you get one of those 3 WRs and Sweat you won the draft imo.
  16. Well, I hate to say it, but that is a you problem. Just because you don’t agree with it doesn’t make it correct. I’m not trying to be a dick here. I’m simply stating that people have a right to sell their seats as long as it’s allowed. According to the IRS, so long as you don’t profit over 5k they don’t care. This was never the case before this year. Last year I didn’t sell any seats, but my tax guy specifically asked me if I had received any funds for tickets. This year it’s different. That’s why I’m saying don’t think NYS can legally put a law into place for selling or giving away your tickets. Unless you are a business and are specifically looking for only profit. In that case it’s a tax issue. Yes I agree and they are trying to smoke out the scalpers and brokers. Here’s the thing. Scalpers are nothing more than local gangs selling tickets. I see them every game. It’s a huge Blood business, no different from them selling stolen or counterfeit Bills gear on the sidewalks or in the tailgate sections. They aren’t exactly working under the blanket of laws and regulations anyway so good luck trying to stop them. as far as concerning brokers, it’s a business. A lot of These people actually do this legally and under the laws and regulations of the irs, local, and national laws. There is nothing against selling a ticket to an event so long as you document any profits that you incur. Honestly, I’m not so sure that teams themselves don’t buy their own tickets and then sell them for higher profits on the secondary market. Of course there’s probably some legal issues there but these are billionaires after all. With unlimited resources. Unlimited bank accounts. And likely multiple ghost companies that they can maneuver around to do it. in getting a little conspiracy theorist for this thread here. But that doesn’t take away from the fact that the IRS does not care (at this point in time) that you profit from selling tickets as long as it doesn’t net you more than $5k/yr. The brokers will have problems with this. The local STHs that would like to attend a few games a year and sell the rest most likely will not be affected.
  17. Well, as a STH that has historically went to almost every game since 2006 but started selling some seats the last few years. I guess I’ll sell 1 game a year and find someone to “give my tickets” to for any other games I just cannot attend because of work purposes. fwiw, even the irs changed their rules on secondary market ticket sales. Unless you received more than $5k profit it was not needed to be included in taxes this year.
  18. Not saying you aren’t a regular club member. What I’m assuming though, is that your seats are probably pretty close to the 50 yard line. While in the current stadium they are fairly inexpensive, the new 50 yard line club seats are going to be the most expensive in the whole place. And as I mentioned, with half as many box suites as the current stadium, the 50 yard line clubs are going to cost people a lot of money. What suites cost in the current stadium. what I’m willing to bet, is that club members on the far outside of the clubs, like @Just Jack and myself, the seats being offered won’t be nearly as much. I have a question for you since you’ve been to the stadium experience. In the new stadium there will be 200, 300, and 400 levels that all look like heated and covered areas based on the renderings everyone has seen. Is this the case? Did they tell you that 3 levels will be heated and covered? Did they tell you that all 3 levels are considered clubs? Or did they only offer you 1 single section based on where you currently sit now? thanks in advance. I don’t see how it’s legal to do that. It’s an irs issue not sure how much of a right NYS has there. But as I’ve said before, just because they might try and police it, you don’t have to sell on secondary markets. You could just “gift” them to a friend. And that friend just happens to ”gift” you $1000 cash. Not sure there is anything they could do about it at that point.
  19. Agree 100%. I’d say secondary market has more than doubled in the last 4-5 years. I expect it to at least double when the new stadium is built. At least for a while. Like I’ve been saying, as long as Allen is out QB we have a shot to win every game. He’s one of the most exciting players in the nfl. People will pay to see it. Not to mention the new stadium that will attract a lot of attention.
  20. Yeah I know quite a few people personally that have opted to rescind their season tix. Along with hundreds of others that I see on social media, etc. 100% agree. I can afford the tix now easily. It’s nothing to me really to buy the tix since 2006. When I moved into the clubs it was a bigger nut but it’s still not horrendous. they kind of are like a religion to many in the area. It’s a place of worship almost on Sundays. Let’s face it, many or most of us plan our lives and obligations around the Bills. Aftermarket may be the way to go for people with the new stadium. I feel like those bucking up for PSLs will make some money off the secondary markets if they choose to incur that huge nut off the top. But eventually it’ll pay off for them. it has 100% gotten out of hand. It’s not the good old days anymore. Technology, inflation, crippling debt, you name it. Things are not close to as simple as they used to be. I agree on the cost. It’s why i am open to what all the seats are going to cost in the new place. We’re seeing the most expensive seats and psls now that there will be in the stadium. There will surely be more affordable seats. Probably cheaper than what I pay now (minus the PSL). And I’m open to that. But like I said many times before. If I’m going to pay thousands more, I want to be comfortable while I do it. If I’m going to be wet and freezing my @$$ off while paying more than I do now, I’ll just stay home. It’s one of the reasons why I wanted a dome. You could be in the cheapest seat in the house and still be comfortable. we’ll see how things play out. It’s the early stages of the whole process.
  21. I don’t know that much about him other than he’s a mouthy, cocky punk. And his father is delusional about his kids success. IMO he’s going to be a colossal bust.
  22. Idk about that. He is a cocky pos that runs his mouth a lot.
  23. I’m a club seat holder and I was told it will be a few months before I get called. You’re gonna have to wait until probably after the summer until non club seat members get the call. Maybe later. As @Just Jack and I have talked about. These club seats they are offering right now with the absolutely ridiculous prices are basically their answer to the smaller suite holders that are in the current stadium. There’s going to me half as many suites, the club seats with even 20k PSLs will be more like the smaller/lesser suites in the current stadium. The every day Joe that has clubs seats like me and @Just Jack aren’t their target audience right now. They’ll get to us with their options later and it won’t be 15-20k for those PSLs. IMO.
  24. He’s a joke and will end up being a bust. He’s a head case and he’s going to get a rude awakening in the nfl.
  25. Isn’t there a Sabres message board? Why is this in the stadium construction thread?
