  1. That’s it true. I’ve been to the Sabres Arena (whatever the hell name their calling it now) for multiple concerts from people that paid PSLs. As I have also been offered tickets at the Bills Stadium for concerts before they go on sale to the public because I have club seats and pay a PSL. when you have a PSL you own the right to a seat at any event held in that arena/stadium. Period. (Except for the SuperBowl which we won’t ever have to worry about anyway) Ewwwwwww. Aldi, I knew it. Trash
  2. Yea I understand everything you said. I love how people talk to me like I have no idea what’s going on. I’m simply expressing my opinion that I think it’s a terrible move. That doesn’t mean that we don’t have holes at DT or WR or any other position. My arguments are completely different. It’s that some people love to talk about things like they are in fact the best way to go. Well, news for everyone. If they were the best moves time and time again, we would have won a Lombardi by now. But they aren’t. Instead we’ve got guys like AJ Klein covering the best TE in the history of the league. There’s examples year after year. Point is, just because they are a vet doesn’t mean they are better than a rookie. Especially when they are 30+ years old and slower, and more beaten up than young kids. And I’m not arguing that every old vet is a terrible move. I’m simply saying that if you add up a lot of the old vets that are rotational, and 3rd stringers anyway, and replaced them with rookies you would save not just a little, added up it’s quite a lot. And with that pool of cash you can get yourself someone that much actually make a difference, besides AJ Klein off his couch. For example last year, for the price of Harty and Sherfield you could have had Hopkins. doesn’t matter. I’ve argued this point over and over again and everyone that likes to argue with me will makes comments like “point out what rookie players you’d rather have” my answer…. Any of them at their positions that cost half as much as vet minimum. These guys arent playing anyway. And if they are we have a lot more problems than we think. im done arguing the point. There’s no facts to base either argument being correct or not. Other than people pointing out that every other team in the league has vet minimum guys in their rosters. Great. First of all I’m not saying that every single one has to be gone. Second, I don’t give a crap about any other team in the league but the Bills. And the fact is what we’ve been doing isn’t working. We still don’t have a Lombardi trophy. We still haven’t been to a Super Bowl. We haven’t been to an AFC championship games since 2020. We’re not getting better. A change needs to be made. im done talking about it. Everyone else has their opinion and I don’t agree with them. They don’t agree with me. Neither of us is going to change each others minds. I’ll just leave it at that. Actually. Long story short is, I disapproved of the move 3 days ago. When the rumor was put out there that he was signing. someone (and I don’t remember who, nor do I care, could have been you for all I know) made a comment that he was signed. When it was NOT IN FACT confirmed by anyone other than another player on Twitter. Not by league officials. Not by the team. Not even by Johnson himself.
  3. But that 1 person is the only person that it matters to. In regards to the decisions being made.
  4. Yes. Exactly. That is 100% the argument. To them, they are all that matters and they are successful and so is their business.
  5. Don’t even get me started if your one of those “Aldi people”
  6. The point was if the Bills haven’t announced it it’s not official. To say it like it was happening might have been correct but just like Von saying he’s recruiting players like Hopkins and OBJ and none of it Happened. So just wait until the team official announces it before we assume anything. Pretty sure I’ve expressed how much I don’t want to talk with you. Like ever. No need to reply to me. Enjoy your life.
  7. I don’t care about other nfl teams. I want this team to win the Super Bowl once Yup. Finally acknowledged by the Bills. 3 days later.
  8. Well, I’m going to the stadium today so if anyone wants updated pics I’ll take them. If not, I won’t bother.
  9. Paying these guys what they are paying them absolutely 100% better than paying Phillips to sit in the medical tent. Don’t disagree with that one bit. but the vet min contracts do add up. There will be at least 4-5 of them on the backend of the roster eating up cap space this season. When we get the final 53 we can revisit this and you can call me an idiot all you want at that point. But for now, we will just have to see. my argument is, and has always been if you up 4, 5, 6+ vet min deals and replace them with rookie deals, you pay half as much. Saving roughly 4-6m that could be spent elsewhere. It’s literally the difference between a guy like Harty and Hopkins if you look at last season as a reference.
  10. I’m fully aware it doesn’t work that way. But if they don’t sell the PSLs they don’t have many other options (which I don’t think they will have a problem anyway). But in the event they don’t sell them to STHs they will just sell regular single game seats for the time being until people come out of the woodwork and buy the PSLs. Imagine if they don’t sell them all, then they win the SuperBowl. My guess is you’d see the PSLs that were available would be higher than what the current prices are now.
  11. Again. The argument, and my personal opinion out there isn’t the way they are treating STHs while at the experience. It’s the pricing structure that is in place. Again, it’s why they aren’t providing any pricing models for stadium seating in the lower or upper bowls. I’m sure when the next level of fans they contact which should be the lower bowls, they won’t be giving them pricing in the 500 levels. It’s the structure itself, not the way the salesmen are pitching it.
  12. I generally agree with this. But again, like I’ve pointed out time and time again. All these “blips” add up. Vet minimum is about double that of rookie minimum. For a guy that’s going to be at best out 4th or 5th DT anyway. Save what little money we have and use it on someone that might actually make a difference.
  13. I don’t believe they will have a hard time selling out. There’s a large waiting list now. They will be fine. Imo. he absolutely will. If he’s lucky, Allen will lead us to a SB. If McDermott doesn’t steal another opportunity away from him again.
  14. I wasn’t saying the timeshare argument was there for the presentation. But the pricing model seems to be similar. Like how they aren’t informing you of prices in lesser sections that what your currently in. They are starting at the highest and most expensive and won’t provide you any info on lesser options until they’ve exhausted the most expensive seats. At that point they will decide the pricing after that. If there’s still a huge demand they will continue at higher rates, if the sales are slowing down they have the ability to lower the prices.
  15. Yeah I’ve already said this multiple times. I don’t have a list. I’m not an nfl GM after all. The point is you can’t come out and say you want to get younger. And then go and pick up guys that are just as old as the ones you e released. I’ve also said it at least a dozen times. I don’t care what players are there. If you’re not getting a difference maker, just take an undrafted player that’s hungry, healthy, and driven and hope to get the best out of them. Save the little money you have and try and throw it at the few difference makers that are out there that might actually help you. If the response about this guy is only going to be a 4th or 5th DT anyway; then there’s no reason to spend the little money you have on a vet minimum or more, when you could find a rookie off the street (there will be plenty there after the draft) for less money. I don’t believe they will draft 2 at DT. One at best. And it might just be a 6-7th round pick.
  16. I am pretty sure they think that it’s not a special situation being Buffalo. They are an NFL team after all. It’s about money and they will get it and won’t care how. If they don’t get people buying the PSLs, they will just raise the price of season tickets to make up for it. But mark my words, the stadium will be sold out by STHs before the first season. as far as the amount of people that have went through the experience. A few hundred is probably correct. They’ve only been doing this for 1-2 weeks now. It’s likely in a one on one or small group basis. They’ve said it takes 90 minutes right? They are only open so many hours a day. There’s only so many people that can go through at once. They can absolutely be serious when saying that a large % of seats are being claimed but only gone through a few hundred or maybe into the 1,000s by now.
  17. I guess I’d rather take shots at guys that are 25 and considered a bust and hope McDermott can get the “best version of themselves” than go with a washed up, old, and injury riddled player at 30+. It’s not like we’re taking 1-3 older guys. It feel like every single FA we’ve picked up is older. After we rid ourselves of older and injury riddled players. Terrible cycle.
  18. I’m not upset about the signing. I’m annoyed by the fact that they said they needed to get younger. They cut a bunch of fat. Then they resigned guys that were just as old or older at many of the same positions. we went from one of the oldest teams in the league, to one of the youngest after the cuts, back to one of the oldest again. Just annoying. it’s not this guy that bothers me. It’s the mindset. And I’m not so sure they take a DT in the draft now personally. I’ll say this, Beane has found a way to fill all the holes on the team and can pick the BPA in the draft now. But it also scares me that we have specific needs at WR, DT, S, C, and I’m not sure they feel the same way.
  19. I don’t disagree with this. And I’m fully aware of it. I don’t know what FA DTs there are out there. But I’m sure there’s some that are under 30.
  20. Yet I haven’t seen it confirmed by the team or the nfl. Or espn. Or Wikipedia. still doesn’t take away from the fact that we’re old at the position.
  21. I agree with your objections. And of the way it’s being handled. I think it’s terrible how it’s being rolled out. But let’s remember this. I don’t think the Pegulas care what look it shows. They are Billionaires and it’s all about money for them. That’s pretty obvious. I’m quite positive the secretive approach is being rolled out for a reason. Theres reasons why you say why can’t they just tell us ahead what all the prices are. Because then you can’t scare STHs into buying those seats in fear of losing out in their tix. They also get the ability to wait and see how things sell and adjust the PSL and ticket prices based on how things are currently selling. If they are selling out they can continue to charge higher rates in the next section that gets released. Everyone wants to joke about it, but @SoCal Deek was on the money when he said it feels like a timeshare meeting. It 100% has that feeling. Regardless in person while at the experience how they treat you, the structure of starting at your highest rates and then systematically lowering just a little bit at a time to see what they can squeeze out of each target group at a time. Legends are professionals in this business. They know exactly what they are doing. And Pegula I guarantee signed off on it. Notice he’s nowhere to be found in all the complaints and issues with this whole thing is being rolled out. Matter of fact he is never involved with any negativity about the team. It’s because he doesn’t give a crap. All he cares about is sucking more dollars out of everyone.
  22. @4merper4mer so are you saying you want to keep signing guys over the age of 30 and plug them into some of the most physical spots on a football team? The argument for more DT help isn’t my issue. We need bodies there. My issue is we went from one of the oldest teams in the league last year, to cutting a lot of aged players and being one of the younger teams just by addition by subtraction. And yet here we are getting older again with a lot of these free agents. Hollins is over 30 Jones is over 32 Morrow is 28 Williams is 31 Austin Johnson (if he’s even signed I have seen confirmation yet) will be 30 by the time camp starts.
  23. I don’t doubt that a C might be of a want for them. And if all those WRs and DT are gone then maybe it’s a possibility. But if all those guys are gone then there’s likely some other impact player that has fallen. Latu comes to mind here. theres 3 Cs in the draft that I’d go with. JPJ, Frazier, and Van-Pran. Frazier and Van-Pran could go as high as 2nd rd somewhere. If we took a WR with 28 and no DT was there at 60 that’s worth it I’d go with one of them if available. but the issue with DT I think is I’m not sure they view that as a need anymore either, just like C. They’ve thrown a bunch of resources at the position this offseason. Unfortunately they are all old players. But that might mean they do need to younger at the position for the following season and going forward.
  24. And just when we thought we were shedding some of the aged players in this team. Going for a youth movement. Nope. Not this staff.
  25. First I don’t think he’ll be there. second, if MHJ, Nabors, Odunze, Thomas, Franklin, Mitchell are all gone, and Sweat is gone, sure. In also don’t think the Bills see it as a need as they seem committed to McGovern there. im also not positive the Bills take WR in rd 1 even if one of those guys is there. I think they’ll go defense somewhere but it could be almost any position imo. Corner, safety, D-end, DT. About the only position on defense I think is safe they won’t draft early is LB. I hope he doesn’t wear that stupid looking helmet thing we do pick him
