At least they would have been miserable pricks that were dry and warm tho

Hard pass. We’re supposed to get excited about a guy that benefited from bad throws and bad QBs that telegraphed exactly where they were going with the ball? No thanks. not to mention I’ll vomit if they pick a DB at 28. but I’ll say this, I’m sure McDermott is salivating over this kid. So he’ll probably be the pick.

That’s why I was so adamant about a dome/roofed stadium. Because even the people with the worst seats in the place will at least be dry and comfortable in any condition. And I’m fully aware prices might be even higher, but at least it would feel like we’re gaining something from it.
-
Now this is an argument that I have not seen anyone make and it might very well end up being the case in Buffalo. You won’t see their ticket prices double overnight (at least not after the new stadium is built) but you will likely see a 5-10% increase in ticket prices jist about every year to every other year. They love to do the 10% increase in a season when we have one less game at home. This way your prices generally don’t go up because your paying for one less game, then the next season when you aren’t even thinking about it they are higher than you expected.

DeShawn Williams (DT) Expected To Sign With Bills
mrags replied to Doc Brown's topic in The Stadium Wall
I never said specifically drafting to fill a hole. But that’s essentially what they are doing picking up these older gets that are no longer, or never were relevant. I’d pick up an undrafted free agent before I find a 30 year old washed up player. Who, many other have pointed out that will likely be a 5th or 6th DT on the team anyway. If it means so little, then a guy with no time on the job will do just as well. End of the day it won’t matter. im being overly exaggerative when i say i want them all gone. I know it’s not possible and honestly, not all are bad pickups. But in general I’m against the idea. -
Gunner's 2024 Mock Draft - FINAL v3.0 NOW LIVE (p.13)
mrags replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m just going by Chris Trapasso who uses a well known chart and was on the show yesterday and confirmed based on his charts that’s where they lined up. Again. Don’t shoot the messenger, I’m just relaying what he said on air, as a guest of Tasker yesterday. They spoke about these 2 trades for about 10 minutes There might have been a 5th rounder thrown in there. Regardless, it was generally doable -
Gunner's 2024 Mock Draft - FINAL v3.0 NOW LIVE (p.13)
mrags replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
They had Chris Trapasso on WGR yesterday. He said #28 and next years 2nd gets you right around the 15-18 range. also said #28 and next years 1st gets you right around 10-12 range. don’t shoot the messenger. Just going by what he said. Could probably end up with Franklin and Sweat after a few smaller trades to move back up. Could probably have 44, 60, and 77 and trade that 77 along with something later (I don’t know the grades/chart) to move up. Getting 3 picks in the top 60. That would be huge. if Mitchell is there at 28 I say take him because you don’t know what’s going to happen. But if you told me now Mitchell and xx as it stands, or I could have Sweat, Franklin, and xx. I’d definitely take the Sweat and Franklin deal. -

The first time she met you? Or the first time she… MET you? -
That’s about where I am. I just started saving for them last year really but already planning to have between 12-15k for seats by the time the stadium is built. I know I’ll have to make a decision before that, but the fact is I’ll have a pool to take from in the time being. Not sure if I’ll finance or pay it all up front. It’ll depend on the costs. I just moved my clubs closer to midfield so I’ll likely get a call a little quicker than I would have. It’s really going to depend on the cost. I want to renew in the new stadium but if I’m going to be all in for over 15k I’ll have to really think about it.

Same thing at first. Was locked into the one image. But then once I closed out of it I was able to swipe. Seems to be fine now. Hopefully everyone else is able to view. And Thank you for doing this for everyone. -
There ain’t no way he’s complaining about being priced out if he’s got the money to travel all season long. Maybe complain about the increase in prices. But “priced out” I doubt it. and yeah, he was probably 30 years old at best.

I got into an argument with someone on the FB group yesterday. (God I hope you’re here, because you're an idiot) he was complaining at first that he would be priced out of seats. I asked what section he sits in and he complained that had nothing to do with it. So I probed a little more. He wouldn’t tell me his seats. Then all the sudden he goes on a rant about how the stadium is being built mostly with tax payer money and we shouldn’t have to pay PSLs. He still wouldn’t tell me what section he was in. So I did a little Facebook stalking. And this kid didn’t even live here. He had no base whatsoever to complain about tax payer dollars. And I know plenty of people that travel quite a ways to come to games. But I doubt this kid was coming from Colorado every other weekend during the season to come to games. Which tells me he did not have season tickets, because if he’s got money to travel from Colorado 8 times a year he’s not worried about being priced out of games. He’s just butthurt that for the game or 2 a year that he comes to, he’s going to have to pay for even higher secondary prices.

Thanks guys. Glad I wasn’t the only one having an issue. And @Just Jack thanks for the link to the original album. I wouldn’t have even known where to look for that. There’s been so many threads and merges and everything I can’t keep anything straight on here anymore. Not to mention the 17 different arguments I have going on all at the same time with everyone. Hey, I just thought of something, I have the same number of arguments with people (17) as McDermott has defensive linemen in his rotation. Winning. -

DeShawn Williams (DT) Expected To Sign With Bills
mrags replied to Doc Brown's topic in The Stadium Wall
That’s obvious -
Well. In the Pegulas case it is true. I’m currently have clubs. I currently pay for a PSL. And I currently receive options to buy tickets to concerts prior to the general public. And yes you are correct, you don’t necessarily keep your seats in the clubs for events. You just have the option to purchase seats before anyone else.

DeShawn Williams (DT) Expected To Sign With Bills
mrags replied to Doc Brown's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m against almost any 30+ year old vet making vet minimum which is about twice as much as a rookie UDFA minimum. I’d rather save what little money we have and employ no name rookies and give them a chance to prove themselves. If it’s not a big deal and this is only the 5th or 6th DT anyway then it shouldn’t matter. The amount he’ll be on the field is almost non existent anyway. I’m going to apologize if you haven’t heard my argument before, I was under the impression that many were aware of it. Considering I’ve been in multiple arguments with multiple posters here over the past few weeks regarding this very same thing. -

Yeah. Same thing. Image 65. Locked. Can’t move forward or back through the rest of the images. Odd. Never had a problem before. am I the only one having the issue? If it’s a me issue I guess I’ll just have to deal with that. -

DeShawn Williams (DT) Expected To Sign With Bills
mrags replied to Doc Brown's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s both. But it was a shame we even had him on the roster to begin with. But I’ll say this, at the time of need it was fine to pick him up off the street. After all he knew the defense and familiar with the team. What the problem is, is that he was even thought of to start after being off all season instead of someone like Williams who was always better suited to cover Kelce. -
Maybe I had the opportunity to buy tickets to the Luke Combs concert in April before they became available to the public. And yes, I do like to argue.
-
I’m not sure about every seat in the house. But I’ve sat in a suite for a concert before. Pretty sure that constitutes a PSL. They own the box. Just like a club seat. And I’m not so sure that some 200 level tickets don’t have PSLs on them either.

DeShawn Williams (DT) Expected To Sign With Bills
mrags replied to Doc Brown's topic in The Stadium Wall
I didn’t know about those players because I don’t follow those teams. But here I am on a Bills message board for hours a day arguing and conversing with people. I also have a Bills app that updates and notifies me when any move is made and official. It doesn’t have to be earth shattering news. I never said it was. I was simply arguing the fact that you, or whoever the hell said it was a done deal when in fact it was not. It was not until a few hours after you or whoever else said it. For the facts of the argument, at the time, it was not confirmed. Now that is a whole different argument. And of course I look foolish. But if we had assumed he was signed and then all the sudden he wasn’t, it’s a different story. And for the record I never denied that he would be signed, or doubted it. I would rather just wait until the facts are out there. And I wouldn’t have spent nearly as much time trying to rile you up or prove you wrong like you are doing here. as it turns out, you’re right. He signed. Yay for you. and my argument about a depth position of need has been argued over and over. I’m not getting into it again. Yes we needed depth at DT, but I don’t agree with the move. I’ll leave it at that.
