Who was Josh gonna throw to on the “flea flicker” ?
mrags replied to Desert Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
lol. Every single one of them. Standing there looking for butterflies -
Like I said. It’s a knock on the 4-2 base that they run. This is the type of game where they should have had 3LBs on the field. It’s not like anything the Ravens did was a secret. It’s been their gameplan all year. We have no answer to it. The answer is simple, stop the run at all costs and make Lamar beat you with his arm. Here’s a hint, he can’t. Instead we played into their preferred game plan. I’m not really sure how they couldn’t see it. Everyone here could it seems.

I’ll say this. A traditional 4/3 would be a huge difference in run defense. Which is probably why our run defense under this coaching has always been suspect. The only real reason they are good at times is because Allen is Superman and has such a lead that the opponents abandon the run. They are undersized, and always hurt.

What’s up with the bills usage of Kincaid?
mrags replied to iwishitwerecolder's topic in The Stadium Wall
Or awful usage. -
Yes. Slow and took terrible angles. Like usual.
-
Not to mention Lamar’s 1TD, 54 yards and a 9+ yard average. Bang up job I tell ya. Great thing we paid big money to a DT to play babysitter (terribly I might add) to the most mobile QB in the league. What a waste

You are not wrong. Believe that.

He chooses his coaches because they are YES men for him. No matter what it’s essentially him coaching both offense and defense because the coordinators are doing exactly what he wants to do. I will never give any OC or DC any credit under him because they are just doing what he wants. Exception being Daboll because they clearly had issues with each other. Tells me Daboll was not a yes man. your correct, Allen is the key to everything. If he goes full nuclear at the right time (assuming the coaches haven’t sucked that life out of him) then the sky is the limit. last night he looked like a Deer in headlights look on the sidelines. Absolutely no answer to anything the opponent was doing. He looked like he had no clue what was happening or how it could happen. Then he got conservative and stupid. Punting on 4th and shorts. Stupid trick plays when they weren’t needed. You wait until 4 games in when your down by 2 scores to pull out a questionable trick play. That by the way nobody on the defensive side was fooled. 🤦♂️

In a thread where it’s my time to shine for how much hate I have for the HC and want him gone. A game like last night is like a pat on my shoulder to how I’ve felt the whole time. Sucks being right about him. Anyway, I am not allowed to talk bad about our HC or the almighty lord moderator will suspend me for another week or more next time. So I’ll exit the conversation now. But this post is well put and pretty much how I feel.

If Hopkins becomes available, would you want Beane to trade for him?
mrags replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly what I’ve been saying all along. And everyone wants to give me chit for being a downer. It’s games like these, against good teams, that will give us problems. Everything is peachy when you’re winning and blowing people out. It’s when the games get tough and rams your playing against are just as good when you realize things aren’t all sunshine and rainbows. And that doesn’t mean I think we’re going to be terrible the rest of the way. Just reiterating the worries that I had months ago and still do. -

But this WR quietly got better. Naw we’re good where we’re at. Lol -
I don’t really want a night life. I just found it odd that PCB is supposed to be more of a college kid party town and it didn’t feel like that at all. On top of it I’ve heard people say Destin is more laid back and not as busy. Based on what I saw last night, I can’t imagine a coastal town in Florida being less busy. Just a really odd vibe to last night. Like I said, it might be because the hurricane that just came through Florida. Still just feels strange We’re def going to be taking a drive there today or maybe tomorrow or Monday. Not sure what we’re doing for the Bills game yet so not sure tomorrow is the day. lol

I can def see it’s in the process of changing. Just wondering if it works or not. Could be good to get in while the transformation is young. However if you invest and it doesn’t work out your holding the bag. curious, how is Destin? I’ve seen multiple different people say it’s completely different from PCB. Sounds like it’s already made that jump moving forward. However I hear some people say it’s not as lively as PCB. I find that super odd because we drove around last night and it felt extremely dead for a Friday night. Again, maybe it’s because it’s the day after a hurricane. Not sure.

The beach is probably the best beach that’s got the most clear turquoise waters I’ve been to that’s not the Caribbean. Had a good feel to the area. I’ll say this, after driving around for the day here in PCB. Going to a few places, it just feels absolutely dead. I don’t know if that’s the season. Maybe it’s because of the hurricane yesterday. But man it just feels like a ghost town. Nothing like any other Coastal Florida town we’ve been in. The beach is pretty nice I’ll give it that. But man, I’m having serious doubts about this area.

After just the first day here in PCB it feels more like an old school beach vibe. Like one of those towns that used to be and still is just a tourist, spring break spot. Not sure if Destin has a different feel to it. Hoping it does. Hoping it feels less tourist trap and a little more like it’s trying to become something on its own. Siesta key was absolutely perfect the one day we spent there. But I feel like it’s almost twice as much as far as property prices goes.

Could be correct. I don’t remember based on the model I saw at the experience. At this point going off the renderings. Which we also know is incorrect, because in the renderings it shows the covered seats in the back of the 100s in the home sideline are also heated. Which I believe they will probably upgrade to in the future. But as of right now it’s not in the plans. I do remember there being some overhang along the corners and the end zones I think though. -

Some people like going to the game and the experience but don’t want to be soaked or freezing. -
If taxes is a worry then there’s a few spots that come to mind. Florida, Nevada, I think Alabama, a few others. Off the top of my head I can’t remember. But for the purpose of keeping more of your money there’s about 5-10 of them that are very friendly. currently in Florida as we speak enjoying the warm gulf water even after the day of a major Hurricane. We’ve been making our rounds, around Florida to try and find the perfect spot. So far been to Orlando, Clearwater/Tampa/St Pete, Ft Lauderdale, Miami, Panama City. We’ll be taking a drive to Destin in the next few days. moving out of the country is always an option as well. Something we will be pondering as we travel outside the US more in the coming years.

This. I’ve been saying this all along. The entire lower bowl will be open to the elements. However, after attending my meeting at the experience I found that the last 8-10 rows (maybe less) in the 100s should be covered by the overhang of the 200s. At least on the sidelines. Not sure about the corners or the end zones. -
Random talking head says something about the Bills
mrags replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Anyone that thinks Lamar is a better QB than Josh Allen should just jump off a tall bridge. There is no hope for you and you are a detriment to society. -
Would be pretty cool to have them do a live performance of just that song before, during, or after a game. anyone ever see the vid of when Metallica performed live for VT? Edit: Ive watched the videos so many times but never been there. I swear I saw they once performed it live for VT I can’t seem to find it. Maybe I’m mistaken if they’ve done it live. Either way, would be awesome.

It’s such a shame that this song has to bring the name of our ex-arch nemesis in it because it would be perfect. on that note, I have been to a game in New England but if they don’t play this song they are doing their fans a disservice. https://youtu.be/Ldf7T6TlV-o?si=4QTvAw1YE0JGa1KZ
