  1. Too cloudy here. Rained all night.
  2. whats cool is that I just got the same hoodie for a birthday present.
  3. Overall... I don't give a chit. This year??? I planned my wedding for May 9th because the draft would be done already. Jokes on me right. So I've got a cocktail reception during round 1. My wedding and reception through rounds 2 and 3. And a chartered "pleasure boat" cruise for the remaining of the draft. Couldn't be more pissed.
  4. i can't believe you guys are getting into this, this much. It was a joke. Jeez. All you say may be correct, but if you just used "boat season" everyone here would have known what you meant. Just saying.
  5. I'm just happy they are kicking tires. Even if the tires they are kicking are for an SUV and we drive a sports coupe, I'm still happy they are kicking.
  6. fwiw, it was 70 today and probably very similar climate as in Chicago. The difference is the lake is still iced up. It is what it is. You feel that's a huge part of the economy... Great for you and Chicago. I personally don't believe I'm nearsighted, I just think it's over exaggerated. At least here it is. We don't look at it like that. At least nobody I come across in daily life is stressing about the amount of fishing that can be done, etc... In another few weeks we will be boating. No big deal. We will still be at the beach when it gets nice regardless. And personally, I think Bass Pro is a joke. Who cares about some fishing crap. But to each his own. And for consolation prize we are getting a very large Cabellas right near the Galleria Mall instead. F%#K bass pro.
  7. I'm just messing with you. But in all seriousness, if I was in a room with a group of buddies, and I said... "Guys, I can't wait until pleasure boat season" I would be laughed out of the room.
  8. I understand what your saying and you have a point. But people of Buffalo don't gauge their love for the area based off the boating season. Sure, we enjoy it. But at the end of the day we know that they can be limited.
  9. "Pleasure Boat Season" is just as queer as can be. Just say boat season. We all know boating is for pleasure. No need to add in the queer part.
  10. I'm 100% Hungarian and I approve this post.
  11. that was kinda lame
  12. we may have ice on the lake and in the River still. But at least I don't use the term "Pleasure Boat Season" Queerest thing I've ever heard. I'll take my ice thank you.
  13. lol she prolly wants to bone Kevin Costner.
  14. here's a hint:The movie is called draft day. And considering it would be really boring if they stood where they drafted it would be really boring. So yeah, there's some big blockbuster types of trades. If you couldn't figure that out, I don't know what to say. lol
  15. 100% correct on all of that. I thought the 2nd deal at the end was a bit exaggerated but the initial deal and how all the other teams were trying to make trades throughout the whole movie was most likely dead balls accurate in how things go down in the NFL.
  16. Well done dirtbag
  17. Just walked out of the theatre as we speak. Overall I was decently impressed. Of course I thought some of the trades were ridiculous, and I couldn't see it happening in real life, but possible and overall not bad. I have no doubt that some of the things that go on when debating players and picks is taken I to account in this movie. And I liked it when Costner was about to tell Shefter to stick it.
  18. Just walked out of the theatre now. I laughed at his small part. Thought he was hilarious. I wanted to stand up and cheer when they had the flyover the field house to view the Ralph. Overall, I thought the movie was pretty good. I think the outcome of the moves was a little ridiculous, but entertaining regardless.
  19. based on the quite I read here that someone posted was that the reviewer thought this would be a football movie. It's not. It's a draft movie in the sport of football.
  20. i read the quite from the review. I don't need to read reviews of people for something I plan on doing, or buying anyway. It's pointless. I decided a long time ago that I would enjoy this movie because it's about football. About the draft. And it has actors in it that I enjoy watching. So I don't need someone telling me why I should or shouldn't like it. I already made up my mind. Now when I see it and I don't think it's that good, I'll be disappointed, but I was going to watch regardless.
  21. no offense. But when you posted this, the movie hadn't even touched down in theaters yet. So who are you hearing that from? Just curious. Fwiw, those of you who think this is going to be packed with football scenes on the field. Think again. Which is probably why that review was horrible. Idiots think this is going to be action packed with non stop football action should think again. It's the die hards that love every aspect of football and the draft and free agency that will truly appreciate what it is. I'll be seeing it today or tomorrow I think.
  22. Hyde and Jenkins in today. Per bills text Sorry mods. Feel free to merge with other thread. Wasn't thinking.
  23. To those that say they wouldn't support them if they moved is lying. You think your love for the players on this team will change? Are you a huge fan of Freddy Jackson? CJ Spiller? Stevie Johnson? How about Marcell Dareus? Kyle Williams? My guess is that if they moved, and say they were playing well within a year or 2, you'd tune right in to watch these players you used to cheer for as they fight for their playoff hopes and dreams.
  24. With all die respect to Seabass... If I owned a team and he was my GM/President and I was thinking about selling the team to buy another team, I probably wouldn't be telling my GM/president at least until I was pretty sure about it. No sense in getting someone worked up over nothing if you don't go through with it. Would ruin the FO you have in place if you were thinking about selling.
