  1. No offense to the OP but it's all rumor. Not that your contacts would lie or are lying but for all you know he could be speculating based on all the JBJ reports he hears in the news every 5 minutes. For christs sake, it's scrolling across the ticker on Madden. Tell me that doesn't annoy me every time I play a game. Either way, it's also not exactly the right time to be making and/or accepting bids. Things aren't working that fast. Another reason why I think it's BS. Another thing is, if they have already announced their bid an it's $1B then I'm even more confident that the team isn't going anywhere. There are plenty of WNY players or others like Trump that will see to it that $1B isn't the final price for the team. They aren't going anywhere.
  2. funny. I've thought that with Easley as well. Even funnier is I always thought they should have done that with Hardy too. As of right now, if Easley were to stay where he is, he's in danger of being cut because you aren't going to keep more than 6 WRs on the roster and STs isn't going to ensure your spot unless your name is Steve Tasker or Mark Pike. However, if he bulked up some, he could push for a TE spot and since he's a really good STer it might help his chances if say he and Meokei, Kaufmann, Gragg, and Smith are all equal at the TE position.
  3. consensus says your right. Some of us think your on crack. Not many. But some.
  4. Thanks. Good read. I'm of the opinion that Watkins may not be a just, but he will not become an elite talent in the NFL. Not worthy of a top 10 pick IMO. What's funny, is that his measurables remind me of Stevie in a sense. Nothing spectacular, nothing horrible either. He'll probably be Stevie Johnson at best as far as statistics goes.
  5. yup. Seattle hits it on the head. For those keeping score. Another top notch defense and strong running game win the SB this year over a pass happy offense. If I did a count, it happens more than anyone thinks. I'll just sit back and keep saying that defense and running the ball works no matter what everyone else says. Watch who wins it again this year and see what their offense looks like.
  6. yup. I'm not normally a fan of taking RBs in the first round. But I would with this guy. He's definately special. He definately fits Marrones dream offense. And mine. The NFL is going to move back to a ground and pound eventually because teams are looking at faster and smaller to keep up with speedy WRs and TEs. Someone is going to shock the league with a massive shove it down your throat running game. I'd rather it be us than someone else. With all that said, I'm not taking him at 9. So we either trade up from the second and give up a 4th to get him, or what is prefer is we trade back in the first for and extra 2nd rounder. Then trade back again for another 2nd rounder. That should put us right about at the end of the 1st round. Draft Hyde. Use our 2nd draft pick on the best OT, or TE. Then stock up on more in the 2nd.
  7. I'm on board with this move. I personally wanted and thought we needed another TE but as it stands, Chandler did very well last year. We don't give him enough credit. So I'd actually be ok with not picking a TE. Moekei and Gragg will also be fighting for roles as well. The talent is there. It's just a matter of IF someone can break out and show us something. Kaufmann does that as well. We shouldn't be looking at this as a bad thing. If were thinking he's a WR, he's not on the team come opening day. This is only an attempt at him becoming a Buffalo Bill when the season starts. And he could surprise us all.
  8. thank you. In the short answer. Yes. He can. Yes. He will. This kid is going to something special. The next best RB in the NFL IMO.
  9. yeah. That pic looks like the players don't view him as a great team mate in the locker room. *sarcasm font*
  10. I'm not gonna say I'm terrified. But yeah, this won't be good.
  11. well done but he'll never get it and never give up. Don't feed the troll
  12. Gotta be a joke for "Got Wood" or something.
  13. was only pointing put funny sayings.
  14. thats a good one. My favorite I heard was from a guy I used to work with. It was a take off the one I already said. It'll prolly be deleted by mods but oh well... I'd crawl across a thousand miles of broken glass... Just to suck the last guy she was with to get a taste.
  15. the biggest thing it does for the local economy is that it's automatically a national advertisement every Sunday during football season. Hell, almost every day throughout the year. The NFL is the biggest thing ever in entertainment minus movies and music. The coverage your city gets just from being part of the NFL makes it worth it IMO. Now, the better you are, the better the coverage, but even if your in last place, the coverage still makes it worth it.
  16. i am also confident we let CJ walk when he's up. Maybe they take up the option for the additional year but I doubt it.
  17. while I share your sarcasm. I don't discount the need for another RB. The way both of these guys play and their history with injuries, I see RB as a need by the 4th round.
  18. well done sir. POTY. im planning to make a huge THANK YOU RALPH sign. Out of a king sized bed sheet or something. Should be perfect for the opening introductions at the opener.
  19. Ouch. I'm not that interested. Which brings me to my next though. There should be a thread titled... That girl is so hot I'd... I'll start it off. That girl is so hot... I'd crawl across a thousand miles of broken glass
