Report: Bills attempted to trade up for Carlos Hyde
mrags replied to johnwalter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This deeply upsets me. -
WR Stevie Johnson traded to San Francisco 49ers

Featherstone in Necessary Roughness was always open too. Doesn't mean anything if he can't catch it or his QBs can't get it to him. Just saying. -
Ultimate Smokescreen - Manziel
mrags replied to MarlinTheMagician's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
what are we thinking??? Like if Manziel or Bridgewater fall to the second round like Geno did last year that we take one and run with it? -
lol

It will be Zack Martin then a RB in round 2

you and I are right on with this Kirby. Of also like to add in the fact that in the last 3 seasons, both Freddy AND CJ have had some types of injuries that have kept them out of multiple games. With Freddy getting even older and CJ wearing his skirt to every game, it's extremely important to have a 3rd RB that can not only be counted on, but expected to play like a starter. Could you imagine that EJ clicks with all the WRs, the defense clicks with Schwartz' system, the coaches click together. Were making a strong run towards the playoffs for the first time in 15 seasons... And then Freddy goes down with a broken leg and CJ with a fractured collarbone??? Now defenses just need to key in on EJ and blitz every play because they know were not going to run the ball. Or 3 in the box and load the field with DBs. Good luck getting through that with no running game. -

I would love any draft that includes Hyde in the 2nd round. A OT, TE, or WR in the 1st and Hyde in the 2nd and I'm turning off my tv cuz it's not getting any better. -
I'm on my iphone EI. Don't think I have that option. But thanks.

Yes. She did. I'm not military. But I've wanted this watch for a long time. It's government issued extremely hard to get one. The company's site usually says out of stock permanently. Used to be damn near impossible unless you are in the military. And thank you

As an avid watch collector, I'd just like to say Grats to me for my wedding gift from my absolutely amazing "soon to be" wife. If anyone is a watch person here. An automatic Marathon GSAR. Stainless steel bracelet with US Marine insignia as well. I've got the best wife ever. Unfortunately, the file is too big to attach a pic I took but here's a link in case anyone cares. http://www.milwatches.com/popup_image.php?pID=1893&imgID=1

Andre Reed to announce Bills 2nd round pick
mrags replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
ive been there. You can't hear jack chit in the crowd when it's being announced. It's a big place, there's no way your getting close enough to the stage for him to hear it. Maybe the NFLN or ESPN crews would hear it. But not Andre at the podium. -

if your not already... Start carrying. Things aren't getting worse. They are already here. The sick individuals in society today are disturbing. And if it's not the disturbing, sick, demented individuals, it's the p#$$%^$ that can't handle being called a name. Back when I was a kid if another kid in school, you stood up for yourself and you didn't need weapons to do it. It was all handled outside in the parking lot across the street. And usually after, it was buried. -
Trade back to the early teens. Pick up an extra 2nd rounder. Trade back again to the 20s and pick up another 2nd rounder. Then draft Hyde in the 1st. Draft Safarini-Jenkins Draft the best WR and OL with your remaining 2nd rounders. Go Into the year as Hyde being your number 3. Slowly move him to number 1 as you trade CJ at the trade deadline for a 3rd or 4th. Next offseason resign Freddy for league get minimum (he'll understand, he's freaking 100). Explain that you want him to be our 2nd or 3rd back and you really want him as a leader on this team (maybe pay him an extra million a season for that). Draft or pick up FA RB next offseason to compete with Freddy as our #2 or #3 spot. There. This post can be closed now. Of course if CJ is in running for MVP of the league or something by the trade deadline it changes in that you resign him going forward. But then you have Hyde as the big bruising 2nd back and Freddy as your 3rd back. What a backfield that would be. Best Ever.

EJ Manuel Consults Big Names on how to Lead
mrags replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
People that say the Kelly's, Marinos, and Montana's of the world didn't ask how to be a leader are fools. I'm sure they all seeked some sort of help while starting out. And for every Kelly, Marino and Montana there's an Eli, Payton, Marsha, Big Ben that did seek help. It seems like more and more now, players are seeking help from the veterans of the league. Payton always talks about how he helped you get QBs with certain things. And if the Marinos, Kelly's, and Montana's of the world didn't seek help, maybe it's because back then, you weren't expected to start right away and perform well enough for a playoff run within your first 2 years or hit the road. Montana took some time Kelly got a few years experience in the USFL first (similar to baseball or hockey's minor league systems) Marino and Elway were arguably the best ever. And to talk of 4 HOF QBs that all had to battle one another all the time didn't hurt them at the time. One can argue that the best age ever in QBing was in the late 80s to early 90s. That type of competition alone didn't hurt them. In the end, I can't imagine any QB asking for hints and tips in every corner of his game can be a bad thing. Freaking NFL screwing up the draft is pissing me off. -
its cool. No offense taken. I didn't think at all it was me.

So...who all else is gonna miss the first two rounds live?

Thanks all for the kind words and wishes in regards to my wedding. I'm sure I'll be able to catch in bits what is happening in the draft. But I'll be sure to play the Isley Brothers, Shout and represent Buffalo all the way from Jamaica on Friday night. I never go to a wedding without asking them to play it when the dance floor is at it's craziest. There will be no exceptions at my wedding. -
Bills actively trying to TRADE UP.

actually, Buffalo is recorded as one of the sunnier north east cities in the US. -

mrags replied to Kellyto83TD's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
hahaha. I bet I will when we walk up to the podium and announce to everyone that we will use our first round pick on Aaron Maybin AGAIN, because we think we missed something and think we can change it around. Thanks though. I'm sure it'll be a great day regardless. Just wish I had a tv there. Not that I want to fixate on it. But just to see what happens when we draft or make some sort of trade. -
you think that's bad. I've got a bunch of my meat for her.

Drew Brees laughs at you. As does Calvin Johnson.

Please. Just stop. The quality of concessions at The Ralph is almost exactly the same as anywhere else I've ever been. Gas station type roller dogs. Microwaved hot pretzels. Bad chicken fingers. There's only a few stadiums (mostly the new ones with new amenities) that have personalized concession options. And the prices are on par with the rest of the league.

NYS hires law firm to help keep Bills in Buffalo
mrags replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i think it's more about working in discounted taxes, rates, and options for building a new stadium in the Buffalo area
