pretty sure JR was in the pro bowl once. But I get your point. -
Batavia possible stadium site?

could a stadium be built there big enough to hold 50,000-70,000 fans with parking? If so, not a bad idea at all. -
Bills Release WR Brandon Kaufman.

Haha. That's exactly what I was thinking. Just because the K Gun was named after McKeller doesn't mean squat. The guy hardly played. And when he did, he was far from amazing. -
Report: Bills attempted to trade up for Carlos Hyde
mrags replied to johnwalter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
EG was a monster in the pros. He was physically dominant and overpowered defenses. If you didn't see that, I'm not sure what EG you were watching. Regardless of being carried away or not... MY OPINION is that Hyde will be the next big name RB in the league. -
Two plays for two players and one setup- Spiller/Watkins

I think I'll like it.

if were in that bad a shape... Did you really think Kaufman was going to be our guiding light or something??? Nothing has changed from this year from last year out of the TE position as as it stands, Chandler played pretty well. -
Hernandez indicted in connection with a double homicide
mrags replied to Golden Wheels's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
hes a gang banger. He doesn't need motive. Remember all this years ago, stories about guys killing each other because they stepped in their brand new Puma??? There you go. hes a ranking Blood. He's pretty much at the top of the food chain. Chances are, in prison, he's the one giving. And serial killers don't get that kind of treatment in prison. They are the respected ones. (At least the serial killer that your making him out to be). -

Well. All I can say is this is the scum type people that are in the world and all around us on a daily basis. "How could the guy kill 2 people and then go back and play football?" That makes me laugh. He's a Blood. It's a very involved gang. "He was just the driver, he wasn't the shooter". Lol. What kind of person hangs around and drives for a situation like that??? A type of person that does that sort of thing all the time. Driver or passenger, pulling the trigger or spewing away. He's guilty. He's a POS criminal. The worst thing is... This kind of guy in jail is not to be worried about. It's the ones that rape their 6 year old sisters, and torture their lovers for fun are the ones you have to watch out for. Most likely hell have additional time added on for his assault inside but it won't matter anyway because he's going to be in prison for life. trust me. He's probobly got another dozen we don't know about. -

if I recall, Jim's wife is from Attica. But close enough. And yes, Thurman either owns, or is invilved someway with Batavia Downs and his new Bar/restaurant. -
This will get you excited about Sammy the person
mrags replied to djsabres's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
thank you for this. More and more I'm coming around. This video has me giddy. Not because of his status as a man or person. Not because of his highlights. The one bit in the interview when he talked about his first touchdown at Clemson and how excited he was that he was able to do that. The thought of him getting addicted to touchdowns at Ralph Wilson Stadium is an awesome thought. -
What could they have done in the draft
mrags replied to Luxy312's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
your obviously a Sammy fan and you educated regarding his play and future possibilities. I really respect that. And you've really helped me come around a bit. I am still not going to get all googoo Gaga over him yet. I still need to see him play in pads against NFL corners before I make my analysis of him. All these "love Sammy" posts and threads is actual making me sick. The guys got to prove it first. He's done nothing yet. In previous years it's never been this bad. Ever. This year it's almost making me I'll. I can't imagine the threads that will pop up if Sammy starts fumbling or missing open passes. It'll be the hardcore fans that no matter what happens he's the 2nd coming of Christ, VS the ones that say he'll never be a true #1. But hey, it's not like we haven't had those arguments every single day since Eric Moulds left. -

i think your comparison to Fitz is probably the best comparison that I can think of. It gets me excited honestly. More so than before. Thank you for that. I still am just worried he doesn't amount to anything more than what Stevie have is. Or even worse, his 2nd contract with Parker as his agent is insane. Let's think about that. If he has a dominant 3 years, Parker will demand for him to be paid more than Calvin Johnson. Think about that for a minute. -

i respect your opinion Kirby. You know that. And I thank you for pointing some of that out to me. You really lost me early though when you said you expect 80 catches and 1,000 yards with 6-8 TDs. Isn't that Stevie Johnson? I know this kid may have a higher ceiling. I know that he may turn into Fitz (very good comparison IMO), but I don't ever see him as a Green, Bryant, Johnson, go up and get it kind of guy. Again. I hope I'm wrong. But if this kid puts up 80 for 1,000 and less than 10 TDs in his forst 3 years consistently, I'll be seriously disappointed in what we gave up to get him. IMO it's only worth it of were talking 80-100 receptions, 1,200-1,400 yards and 10+ TDs consistently. Either way, we are floating on clouds with this kid. And he hasn't played a down yet. We should all curb our enthusiasm. -

Why are we already saying that Sammy Watkins is an undoubted number 1 wide Reciever??? We haven't even seen this kid put on NFL pads yet. Let's all get out of the clouds for 3 seconds here. I know your all in love already. But jeez. Let the kid play first. Fwiw, I hope I'm wrong and he's an instant HOFer. But let's watch and see first. Let's at least get through practice, mini camps, pre season before we give this kid a perminant spot in canton already. -
agree with everything you said. Especially your I do on Barr. This guy is a monster IMO. And I'm going to add Watkins on the list. Not that I dont want this kid to be successful. But the way people are hyping him up around here, you'd think this kid already won us a SuperBowl, cured Jim Kelly and single handedly kept the Bills in Buffalo. Get a grip people. The kid hasn't even put on pads yet.

Report: Bills attempted to trade up for Carlos Hyde
mrags replied to johnwalter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
never did or has. Even in his monsterous year, Fred was having great numbers as well. So do we praise CJ for being so great? Or give the line and the playcalling praise? The fact is, CJ has never distanced himself. The fact is, as an early 1st round pick (with the exception of 1 season) has been a disappointment. The fact is, regardless of how much fine he's missed, if we keep making "he had an ankle injury all season" type of excuses then what are we really getting??? I hate to bring it up becauE he's no longer on the team. The horse is beat to a pulp at this point. But if people were complaining about Stevie's production (absolutely nothing to do with his on/off field antics) then we should all be lining up at OBD with pitchforks looking to oust CJ. -

Report: Bills attempted to trade up for Carlos Hyde
mrags replied to johnwalter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
really??? Because when I watch Hyde I think of Bo Jackson and Eddie George. Nice college careers and absolutely dominating in the pros. because it could've happened and it should've happened. This guy should have been taken with our 2nd round pick. you shut your mouth. I am not. -hovers in corner crying. this you wouldn't call him injury prone? He has yet to finish a season where he was not injured. Just saying. -
Batavia possible stadium site?

Batavia helps the region. It links Buffalo and Rochester very closely. There's much to gain In this move towards growing both cities together. It also makes Syracuse closer to Rochester. Regionalization. -
Batavia possible stadium site?
mrags replied to BillnutinHouston's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
we'll said sir. Well said. Same argument I've been saying about a stadium downtown as well. Were not talking about just a new stadium if this thing ever materializes. Were talking about a complete change in the area. Infrastructure will not only be changed, it will be chosen because it needs to be changed. Buffalo, NF, Batavia... Whoever gets this thing, will get not only a billion dollar stadium, but probably another 500-1billion in infrastructure changes. I'm talking subways (real ones, not the joke we have now), roadways, public transportation. Huge changes if this happens.
