  1. try and find his 690+ passes on tape. You won't. The Info I found is a decent sample size of 100+ TDs. Almost 1/4 of his total career TDs. Those TD passes, if you bothered to watch were all over the field. Ranging from 1-99 yards. Saying P-E-Y-T-O-N made his career on dink and dunk is not only a stretch, it's ridiculous. But I'm sore you'll look up his average as well and prove yourself wrong there too. Believe whatever you want. Or whatever you read from some SBnation writer. The fact is, if you go I to a room full of educated football fans. And you make a claim that Peyton made his career off dink and dunk passes, you will be laughed at. Either that or the rooms you walk into are full of uneducated fans much like yourself. And for the record. This is a Sammy Watkins thread. Not a Peyton Manning thread. For the record, I never said Sammy wasn't good in this thread. Just thy the OPs highlights don't do his game justice. But apparently you took that as me attacking Sammy. Then decided to bring Tom Brady and Peyton Manning into it (why??? I have no idea). For the record, I never said anything about EJ in this thread and don't care too. It's a Sammy freaking Watkins thread.
  2. 55TDs, 5 were screens, 1 was a shovel pass, 1 was a short pass on a blitz pickup, 2 were wheel routes by the RBs. http://youtu.be/O7s5wnKEVA8 1 out of 49 here. 1. One. Uno. And it wasn't a screen either. It was a shovel pass. Over 100 TDs and 5% were screens. 2 different teams. Years apart. Different coaches. Different players. Only thing that was the same was Peyton throwing the ball. Say whatever you want. Believe whatever articles you'd like. But to say that screen passes are what male him successful is beyond a stretch. I just showed you almost a quarter of every Manning TD and there weren't a lot.
  3. When you go up that high in the draft for a guy that's supposed to be a generational talent ... All draft pick value charts get thrown out the window.
  4. fitz is the best comparison IMO. a troll with over 8,000 posts. Got it. i never said they weren't nice plays. Just that everyone says that the OSU game was his best ever in college. 8 screen plays does nothing for me. Just my opinion.
  5. not everyone can be a wiener.
  6. saying Payton Manning used the run screen and that's why he was successful suggests you know nothing about football. Just saying. best post of the thread and not even a Bills fan. Are all Browns fans this intelligent? Sign a few more up here would ya.
  7. i don't think I've seen Payton Manning throw as many screens behind the LOS in his entire career as there are in that video. Dink and dunk is different than behind the LOS.
  8. easy guy. I've already said that I like the kid. Just that the OPs video didn't do him justice. Not sure why everyone is all goo-goo, ga-ga over it. It didn't show me much for being a highlight video of a WR you obviously get it. you know I'm on board with him now, so I understand this. Just that video is all. havent seen this video yet. But now I'm scared. i don't care how terrible our QB may be. I don't want our STAR WR running screens all day. Seems like a big waste. you seriously had me before when you told me to "think Larry Fitzgerald" but when you say Edleman or Welker, I get scared. We just had a guy (Stevie Johnson) that could do all that. We need better than a slot guy. I don't care how many balls Welker catches. We don't want that.
  9. They could tag him just like last year. And just like last year he could hold out until the last possible minute. Then he would probably get some sand in his va-Jay-Jay and be out hurt again for a few more games. In actuality, we'd be worse off than if we just went with one of the young kids at FS and let them learn to play the position from the start of camp all the way forward.
  10. There is not a single doubt in my mind that the "Patriots" from the north east would win that SuperBowl after 9/11. It was definately fixed 100%. Thanks for the story though.
  11. well done it was your addition that sold me.
  12. could be. And fwiw, I wasn't knocking on all his screens. I was simply stating that the video in the OP wasn't so spectacular. That there's really nothing that special about a couple screens. But I will give credit where it is due. The TDs are great. And even the screens aren't bad at all. He shows great ability to fight for yards. Just hoped I'd seen more in what many say is his best game.
  13. who are you and what have you done with Kellyto83TD???
  14. your right and right. never said it was. Just stated that this video is hardly a glowing highlight of his abilities a a WR. He caught like 8 screen passes and 3 balls past the LOS.
  15. he's a WR right??? Not a RB right??? When I watch a highlight video of a WR I want to see the ball thrown beyond the LOS and the WR going up and getting the ball. Making plays. Most of the plays in this video could be made with NFL quality blocking.
  16. This video takes me back to how I originally felt. Nothing special. Screen play after screen play. A couple of nice routes and nice catches. But he was nothing more than a RB in much of these plays. I'm fully on board with Sammy now, but this video wasn't good at all.
  17. I saw this special on espn as I was sitting in my hotel room getting the jitters on my wedding day. Absolutely amazing story. And from what they said in espn is that she's not "legally blind" anymore. She's completely blind. Said that last year the little bit of sight she had she lost firing an event. At least that's what I thought I heard. I was a really good pole vaulter in high school. I understand how she dies it because in track and field everything is all about precision and steps to your goal. But man, I could never imagine doing it blindfolded.
  18. i added more to my argument. You can go back and re-read. But you think it's an issue. I don't at all. There's at least 3 major opportunities to get in and out of NF from the south. Niagara Falls Blvd. River Rd. And the 90. All 3 would and can easily be expanded. NFB most likely wouldn't but there's plenty of room. And the state wouldn't have to buy any land. They would simply tell the public on each side of the roads that they were losing 5-10 feet of land. It's that simple. It happens all the time. The state doesn't have to purchase a thing. They flick their fingers and start sending construction vehicles overnight.
  19. you really don't believe the Robert Moses can be widened? There's like 100ft on each side of it like the entire way. River Rd could also easily be widened. And yes, if they build a stadium in NF, chances are there would be some sort of addition to the grand island bridges. As I said before, building a new stadium, no matter if it's in NF downtown Buffalo, or Batavia, it's not just a stadium. It's a way for a revitalization of the WNY area. Infrastructure will be huge. There will be about a billion dollars spent on the stadium and then probably another 1-2 billion spent on the towns/cities themselves. Just to update roads, road patterns, subway stops, etc... Your missing the big picture here. And that picture is Cuomo and NYS trying to bring Buffalo and the surrounding area in WNY back to relevance.
  20. In an order best I can remember: The Aud- Sabres Pilot Field/Dunn Tire Park- Bisons Rich Stadium/Ralph Wilson Stadium- Bills Three Rivers Stadium- Pirates Marine Midland/HSBC/First Niagara- Sabres Walter Kunz/UB- some semi-pro football game The Bullpen/UB- I was there as a section 6 qualifier in the 110 High Hurdles, Pole Vault, Triple Jump, UB Bulls as well George Finnie Stadium- Baldwin Wallace Yellow Jackets (one of my best friends started OL for them) Air Canada Centre- Thursday Night Smackdown Skydome/Rogers Centre- Wrestlemania 18 (record attendance) Oakland Coliseum- Raiders Vs Broncos (the last home game during their 2002 SuperBowl year) Pac Bell Park- Giants (Barry Bonds both tied and passed William Covey for the most home runs ever as a Giant) Qualcomm Stadium- (Bills away Vs Chargers) Candlestick Park/Monster- (Bills away Vs 49ers) Thomas and Mack Center/UNLV Stadium- WWE Vengeance 2005 Fawcett Stadium- HOF ceremony for Ralph Wilson and Bruce Smith as well as Bills vs Titans in HOF game (TOs first as a Bill) Growney Stadium- Bills Practice/Training Camp Lancaster Speedway- probably my first actually as a spectator, but recently had the opportunity to drive there in a late model stock car. I think that's it.
  21. um ... You widen every route you just spoke about?
  22. forgot that. I've got a million dollar umbrella policy on my rental. And at one point I made it mandatory that my tenants provided proof of renters insurance prior to moving in. That way, any injuries, damages, thefts, would be covered by their renters insurance before my umbrella policy would be activated.
  23. i agree with everything this imposter said in the OP. Really wanted Hyde because as the OP stated, the pass happy fad may be coming to a close, and the power run, stop the run teams will be up and coming. The league has went with smaller, quicker, more athletic LBs to account for heavy passing games and quick fast TEs. Now teams are going with big physical TEs again and a more bruising running game. Lynch, Peterson, Morris, Lacy, Blount, etc... The offenses can dictate to the defenses by overpowering them with run games now days. I firmly believe that Brown and Dixon will be the future running backs of this team. CJ won't be here after this season and Freddy won't be long before he's retired. Brown will be the starter by seasons end. Bank it.
  24. who are you and what have you done with Kellyto83TD???
