  1. Glad she's ok. Chances are she didn't have any cuts because of the glass. The "breakaway glass" breaks into small pieces and generally aren't sharp enough to cut like that. That's how they are engineered. I learned that at Corning Museum of Glass ;-) glad she's ok though. I'm betting the driver was drunk or high or a criminal and didn't want to get caught and risk going to prison for years. Maybe someone should ask where Marcell and Marshawn were that night.
  2. i think Brown will be a better RB than Spiller.
  3. thatsy argument as well. I just overexagerrate it. Just like how people overexagerrate CJs importance, and ability.
  4. uiur making reasonable arguments like I am here. It's not allowed. The CJ jock swingers don't like it.
  5. maybe I'm a bit overexagerrating when I say "he sucks". My words. Not yours. But at the end of the day he's a disappointment for a top 10 pick. And the fact is everyone swings from his jock like he's the next coming of Walter Payton. He's not. He's average in today's NFL. That's not saying a lot. His vision is terrible, He pulls up at times. Being caught for a loss and terrible in short yard situations is not only am understatement, it's a tragedy. That's what RBs are there for. They aren't relied on to get you 12 yards each play. That's why the league has WRs. What he's supposed to be good at, he is inconsistent. I personally hope he tears it up too. If he plays out of this world and stays healthy, chances are we make the playoffs. But don't think for a second that even if he has a mediocre season of 1,000 yards, he will sign for any small amount. He's going to make a killing when he becomes a free agent and I hope were not stupid enough to pay that for a guy that's not only inconsistent but incredibly injury prone. He's only been injured every single single season in the NFL. So I'm sure even if he has one healthy year he'll be fine. for the record, his 446 yards over 6 weeks is only about 75 yards a game. Barely respectable in the NFL RB world. Think of how many games in the season you remember RBs being dominating and taking over a game with 75 yards. It doesn't happen. Regardless, 1,000 yards is nothing special in the NFL. Especially when your only getting 2 TDs with it. Heck, even 1,200 yards isn't anything special when your looking at others in the league putting up 1,500+ and in MVP conversations. What's funny is that with 2 different HCs and multiple different offensive schemes, the one thing that's constant is that CJ is inconsistent and injured. Why is it that 2 NFL coaches/coordinators have said they are going to feed Spiller then when the times comes he can't handle the load? "Were going to run CJ until he throws up" and "he gets winded" should not be thrown out. 2 coaches now can't seem to make this work on a regular basis.
  6. my guess is you'll keep hearing it as people like to hope and make excuses.
  7. and what if he has another sub 1,000 yard season. Or what if he has another season where he is riddled with injuries? Would you really want to lock him up long term then?
  8. the difference is Freddy gets consistent yardage while CJ consistently goes: 1 yard, 3 yard, minus 3 yards, 40 yard. It doesn't help the offense as much as many believe it does. It's unrealiable. i think it's a very poor excuse. If he was that injured he wouldn't have been in the game.
  9. again, CJ had "A" good year. One. Uno. 1. Not multiples. Average doesn't mean anything. If your averaging 7 yards a carry but can only manage to carry the ball 6 times a game that does very little to help the overall of this team. Ok that's an exaggeration but you get the point. At least you should. His averages mean nothing. He gets more short gains, no gains, or loss of yards than many others only to have a few long runs to keep him in the plus column. It hurts the offense overall waiting for him to break one. I'd rather have a back that can churn out 4 yards every carry but that's opinion. one thing we can both agree on is that we both hope he has a great year. While I don't hold out hope for him as a dominant player. I do hope he helps this team. I just don't want to sign him after this to some ridiculous contract because I don't think he's worth it.
  10. good or great players are good or great no matter who's around them. They uplift teams. Not the other way around. If CJ truly was that great, then he would have made others better around him. Do you really think Trent Green was that good in KC? Good enough to take his team to the playoffs every year? Or do you think that KC team was all Preost Holmes? What about Marshall Faulk when he was in Indy? Or at the beginning of his career in STL? Do you think Adrian Peterson cares of Josh Freeman is his QB? What about Jamal Lewis when he had Trent Dilfer at QB. Your argument doesn't hold water.
  11. i have no idea what that link was for. I'm in my phone so of there's something different than on a desktop I have no idea. But It doesn't make sense to me. If you think he can consistently be a 1,700 yard back then I'll ask for how long do you think he can be that? Even in his younger years he's showing he gets banged up every season. What do you thinks gonna happen when he's older and has more tread on the tires? He's not long for this league at his rate of injury. Your Jets fan friends think the Bills are a joke??? Hahaha. That says it all right there.
  12. i never said that I don't like CJ on this team. And I don't make excuses for anyone. I used to believe CJ could be the next Marshall Faulk or Priest Holmes. On paper it computes. On the field, it doesn't even come close. I have just learned to not be fooled by his potential. He has consistently underachieved his draft status. And while I don't hate him for it, It does annoy me that fans take it so personal. It's nothing against CJ as a person or player, He is what he is. Why ask him to be something more than he's proven to be? You want to talk about excuses for Trent or Fitz? They both had potential just like CJ. The difference is they were the QBs of this team. Something we hadn't had in years. A true leader and someone to take us to the playoffs again. Both at times (just like CJ) showed great promise. The only difference is that CJ was a top 10 draft pick and Trent and Fitz were 3rd round and 7th rounders.
  13. well said about CJ. Glad I could get a chuckle out of someone with that. But in all honesty, it's 100% true. I don't feel the same way towards Watkins. I used to before and just after we drafted him. His size doesn't compute to the NFL as much as people would like to think. But someone got it 100% correct wen they compared him to Larry Fiftzgerald. It really is a great comparison and once I heard that, I'm convinced that Sammy will be a great player baring injury. He really has the same type of makup as the all-pro and it could be great. another chuckle. I'm doing good today. stop making sense your taking crazy pills if you still think CJ can be something that he has only proved to be once out of 4 years. The other 4 years he's been barely average.
  14. Can't believe it tooke this long to remember this one. Best martial arts movie I've ever seen. IPman Absolutely amazing if your into bad acting by Asians in a martial arts movie that has awesome fight scenes. The fighting scenes in this are hands down the best of any king fu movie ever. Of course that's my opinion.
  15. he still sucked.
  16. he played in 15 games last year. That's 62 yards per game and only 2 TDs for the entire season. If that isn't elite I don't know what is...
  17. the real problem was that he sucked for most of the year.
  18. and I agree with that. The whole argument is opinion based. There's no right or wrong. It depends on what kind of person you are. At least you recognize that and refuse to go because of it. Some people are just plain stupid and go anyway thinking everyone else (70,000 other fans) should change because they want them to. Kudos to you sir. Much respect.
  19. like usual. That too. Freddy has constantly proved me wrong. When I was on his train back during his first few years claiming for him to start over Lynch, everyone thought I was crazy. Now he shows that he doesn't have any give up in him. He's got to be my favorite Bills of all time and I hope he keeps trucking.
  20. He lost me early in the argument when he used the term "re-up" I can't stand this. As a professional how can you not come up with a better way of saying this? Anyone that uses the term "re-up" deserves to lose their intelligence card.
  21. je constantly showed last year that while giving him the ball he wasn't successful. Which in turn led to taking away his opportunities. Can't blame them. He sucked last year.
  22. I contacted my ticket rep just the other day and I can confirm that there are only single seats available for the home opener.
  23. Agree. Too small. But he's probably not a good for for 4-3 OLB. He's at best a situational pass rusher IMO. Seriously we should trade him to the Browns for a draft pick. On that note, I think Lawson is listed as lighter but he just looks so much larger than Hughes. Not sure how that's possible but just by the looks he towers over people. I think Lawson makes a better fit. But what do I know I'm no coach.
  24. nist a recap of everything already out there. Thanks
