  1. prolly a good idea. There's no coming back from this.
  2. well, Unless he poses a threat somehow he'll be in general population. They generally don't remove inmates from population because of this. Burress wasn't. He was in medium facility where it's like a dorm setting. He didn't even have a cell. He was in a large room with about 70 or so other criminals and had a "cube with 4 ft walls". The public generally believes that these guys are Locked away in some cell without windows, without a bed, without lights. Even in "The Box" they aren't treated like that. They have their own cell. At Attica they have fans, TVs with cable, as much food as they can buy through the commissary. Just because he's in a gang or a murderer doesn't mean anything. So are the other 2,200 inmates in the facility. The only inmates that I've known to have special housing away from all inmates were these: Arthur Shawcross who was a sick demented individual who was terrible with the COs (all word of mouth from Sgts when I was at Sullivan CF) http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arthur_Shawcross Mark David Chapmen for killing Lennon he was better off being separated. He was our porter in the Special housing unit for years. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_David_Chapman Even David Berkowitz wasn't in segregation. He was one of the facility reps when I was at Sullivan. Walks around freely almost every day. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Berkowitz Oh. Almost forgot. Most of the time inmates are separated from population is because of their life on the outside, not their crimes. Clinton CF has many cops, COs, troopers. Law enforcement wouldn't survive very well in population. When I was in Sullivan we had a CO that was in for killing his wife. He was separated.
  3. I respect your opinion an have no doubt you may be more informed than many. Maybe me. Maybe anyone else here. You work for the city in some capacity. But I have to completely disagree 100%. It is gangs. Gangs were created back decades ago for alike people to create safety in their areas. The bloods, crips, Latin kings, ms13. Every single gang was formed that way. Those gangs evolved to money making machines. Sore pounded by guns, drugs, prostitution, etc... Those shootings that you say are just "shooting each other" is 100% gang violence. Even if it's not gang on gang, I guarantee at least one side of the shootings are in a gang. The shooting that "the guy was visiting from" is absolutely a gang type situation. These guys don't mess around. Someone comes into their neighborhood that doesn't belong there it doesn't end well. Again, your invilved somehow so I respect your opinion I just disagree with it. It really sounds like gang type actions. Goes back to my original thoughts, gangs in society today are very big. Society in general is stupified at how big they are. They aren't just in the slums of the big cities. They are in the suburbs, and country as well. Chef will let anyone know how his hometown of Alexander has changed over the years. It's no surprise that one of the most notorious jails in the country is right there. The inmates have to get their drugs somehow. When I worked at Willard Shock I was amazed at how many inmates were from places like Elmira, Auburn, Binghamton. There's almost nothing in these areas. Yet the jail was full of inmates that made tens of thousands a week selling drugs. I'll never forgety conversation with one kid that had been busted for the 2nd time. Said he had just a few more years to go to be retired. Was making over $10K a week selling drugs. Had ultisols apartment complexes that his mother bought with his money. Was set up already without ever making another cent in drugs. But sure he'll be back again at some point.
  4. so at about week 8 he will still need about 1,500 I'm guessing. He doesn't top 1,300 yards this season. And I haven't been hiding. I do work ya know. And JBoyst is right. It's M.rags
  5. the Lating Kings and MS13 are no joke.
  6. you apparently put words I to my mouth. Of at least misinderstood me. The whole paint was that we were close in quite a few games last year. One play could have made those games go the other way. We didn't capitalize on those opportunities at the time. Sucks. Hopefully we can find a way to take the next step next season. If we do, we are a winning football team. A case can be made that we upgraded at the WR position and Sammy could be the missing piece to take us to the next level. Nobody knows. To assume we don't make it based on our record from last year is just as crazy as assuming we will be great. Either way were both assuming. fyi the plan was to have Kolb start at QB and have EJ back him up until Kolb was injured. Prove that it wasn't the case.
  7. as one already pointed out we were just a few plays away from being a 9-7 or 10-6 team last year. Loss to Atlanta in OT because of 2 fumbles Loss to NE because of a dropped first down pass Loss to Cleveland because of a QB change mod game Loss to the Jets because Rogers was toasted more than a bagel Loss to the Chiefs because of a QB we didn't expect to play Being down to our 3rd QB in 2 games made all the difference in the world. If EJ stays healthy we win at least 2 more of those games. If Stevie and Chandler don't drop passes and fumble the ball away that's another 2. And if we don't have a major liability in at CB we win a 3rd. 5 games right there off the top of my head. Came down to 1 play really in each one. Care to argue that 1 stud player or healthy play from your QB won't make a difference?
  8. Someone told me Atlas Shrugged is really good. No idea what it's about. He just said I need to watch it and wouldn't give up any info. Wanted it to be a surprise. I blew him off. Never even thought about it. Mistake? Anyone else seen this?
  9. your in the lawsuit now too.
  10. Sorry BB Loved your lyrics.
  11. heres the thing. We can all agree on a few things in sure: No matter where they decide to build a new stadium, it's going to be a nightmare. If it's downtown, OP, waterfront, NF, etc... There's going to be pitfalls with every option It's gotta be built somewhere. Why does it matter where needs to be cleaned up If it's at the old Beth steel site, there's a good chance of some kind of government assistance (federal, state, and local) because of what an eyesore it's become. There's a good chance there is help to clean up the site. If it's the waterfront, chances are the governments want to help clean it up because it helps with the future development of the city as a whole.
  12. So should DCCTom
  13. As much as I love and agree with Freddy being the face of the franchise. The fact is, it's EJ weather anyone likes it or not. In just 1 messed up season he already has his face all over this thing. People from out of town would be the ones to ask. The non Bills fans. Of course we all love Freddy and what he means to this organization. But when you ask a Colts fan (eg.) they will point to EJ.
  14. All of the above. Can't wait for this road trip. I'll he there for sure.
  15. Not really a sleeper but Catch Me If You Can is just about as good as movies get if you ask me. If I see this movie on tv I can't turn it off. I'll stay inside on any nice day and watch this movie until it's finished.
  16. I was a very good pole vaulter in high school so it was really a no brainer. But the stripper pole definitely made me think about it a little.
  17. 2 points for our fearless leader.
  18. Wow. Kiko goes down and people are asking for 0-16. I didn't even read most of your post. I'm assuming most didn't after the first few words. Hope you enjoyed wasting like 30 minutes of your time putting that all together.
  19. ill agree with that. Anything to do with Dolphin, Bucc, Jag, Panther, or Charger cheerleaders.
