i feel that inmates that change for the better are ones that want to change. There aren't many of them. Most of them are just angry they are confined. Most of them just want to get out so they can do what they were doing before. Most of them don't have feelings or care who they hurt. Most of them, regardless what the public thinks or knows, have many more privelesges than they assume.

as long as prisoners are respectful, to themselves and others and don't cause problems, they are treated with respect. I wont say that all of them fail to return to society. It happens. Very rare but it happens. But most of them don't. When I was at the drug treatment center/shock camp a a Drill Instructor, I can tell you that the return rate was in the 70% range. There were times in the 6 months that I worked there I saw parolees 2 times and it's a 97 day program. Yiu can take that however you want. I'm some cases, my best parolee of the 70 person group, my platoon leader, would come back. In other cases, my platoon leader would drop out of the program. When I showed up at Attica I saw him in the special housing unit. He was restricted do to him throwing his own feces on officers. He was my best one at shock camp. My best one. And people want to ask why we have trust issues towards inmates. Because one minute, yiur most trusted inmate on the block, can be your best one there, the next minute he could take a broom handle to your face. Cletus has it right on. No one can really say until they have experienced it.

Training Camp 2014...Tweets from all sources, Week 1

im with this. EJ is not stupid and knows his limitations. He knows which days he does well and which ones he needs more work. Chances are he's playing nice for the camera. I'm going to bet as soon as he left the interview he went right back to work in the tape portion to see what he didn't wrong and how to fix it. No different than probably 90% of QBs in this league. And if he is clueless, Marrone will make sure he knows what he's got to fix. -
It will go up by the end of preseason. It'll be an 85 at least.

lol ive got news for ya. About 99% of them go right back to the same life they had before. There's about a 70% rate of them coming back into the system. And that's only the ones that are getting caught.

he was on the sidelines. I don't ever recall him working with trainers. Medicine balls or the bike. But I wasn't there every day either. -

if Trapasso was a good reporter he would post that Glenn is there in the sidelines. Walking around. Workin with the medicine ball, and being on the bike. Instead he's trying to make it out like he's no where to be found. Way to get everyone up in arms. -
same in NY brother. The only ones that aren't are the SGT and LT shirts and the Drill Instructor grays.

yes. As the offense is learning plays and getting in sync, the defense is more read react to the slowly learning offense. Which is good news because even though the offense isn't really in sunc yet, EJ and Sammy are putting on a clinic on deep throws. -

Everyone take a pill and relax about EJ. I'm not there today but I can vouch over the first 2 days he didn't struggle. Yes he made mistakes but they were not bad. His days overall were a success. He missed some throws but made some really nice ones. Deep throws too. his connection with Sammy grew from day 1 to day 2 and it sounds like it's growing into day 3 too. -
Most underrated player going into camp
mrags replied to WhitewalkerInPhilly's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yea. Well see about Hughes when pads go on but honestly, it's his quickness that's getting him in there so much. I really feel like pads will just make it easier as the additional weight and bulk of the large OLmen with pads will slow them down more. Hughes isn't that bulky with them on. I don't want to throw out a bad analogy here but it's like Maybin when he was at Penn State. He was just running around people. Well see if that keeps up tho. Sammy will make you say it. I was w.. wr... wrong... And I admit it proudly. The kid is a stud. If he stays healthy he'll be the rookie of the year. -

Camp's about to start! Anybody miss Stevie?
mrags replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
why did anyone even bring this thread up??? Same as you just said about me not giving it up. Same goes for the haters. People just can't seem to let him go without kicking him in the way out. The guy did nothing wrong. He was a good Bill. Wanted to be here. Loved the city. Loved the fans. Loved the team. Has shown recently that he misses all this already. Why is it that we hate on the guy? Oh well. Someone please just close the thread. The guy isn't on the team anymore. What's the point? -
this. I'll go one further. Let's say the Candian group nous tiebreak and announces a move of them to Toronto when the 10 year lease is up. But let's say the Bills this year or moving forward are not only good but a deep playoff or SB contender. That's where people will really show their colors. Of date say that if JBJ buys the tomorrow. Announces the move on Saturday. But EJ and Sammy light up defenses and win the division, the Ralph will not only be sold out in late December. Tickets will be sold for double face value to get into games. People will still be here on TBD saying how much they hate JBJ bit have to watch until the move is made. And that will make quite a few that say they are done, continue to watch even after the move.

ill just shut up now. No point in arguing about this anymore. And that's what this is. An argument. Nothing even close to an informed discussion. I'll just continue to hope one of the better Bills of recent years good luck on his new team that has been deep into the playoffs the last 3 seasons. Good luck Stevie. -
