  1. well. Thank you for adding some insight other than just stating "wow it is nothing similar" to the 90s teams. Yeah. No Chit. There were also multiple Hall of Famers playing, coaching that team as well as others that deserve considerations at being in. There are definitely similarities though. The LB, DB, and even WR are very close at least in paper. Of course we have no idea about Sammy or Kiko on the long term yet. But after one season, and half of a training camp, if our hopes aren't at their highest right now... Then what the hell are we doing here!?!?
  2. shut up. You've got a pig to cook. meh. His 20+ yard runs aren't nearly as many as CJs obviously as pointed out. However his 10-20 yard runs is probably higher and I'm almost positive his 5-10 yard gains is higher.
  3. regardless if you saw many or not by Graham he did score. He did contribute. Hogan didn't do much at all. You guys need to get real about Hogan. He's nothing spectacular.
  4. yup Flap. The dude is gonna impress and that starts in just 2 days. Look for him to make a case not only against being cut but to get him the ball more.
  5. owning another sports team in another city is based on mileage I believe and in pretty sure 90 miles is the magic number. Maybe even more. So that argument is gone.
  6. listening to Van call that comeback game is like nothing else in my life. no Kool Aid here my man. Only truth. I wasn't old enough to remember the last turn around in the mod to late 80s that well but from my historical knowledge of the franchise it seems eerily similar. Jim Kelly- EJ Thurman Thomas- Freddy/CJ Reed- Sammy Woods- Lofton metzlaars- Chandler Wood- Hull Glenn- Rubin Bruce- Mario Talley- Kiko Bennett- Spikes Odoms- McKelvin Smith- Gilmore Henry- A. Williams The similarities are there for sure.
  7. the injury thing is not false. Anyone can say he "only missed XX games these years" and anyone else can say that is just more excuses. Like last year when he didn't miss much time but now were making an excuse for the entire season. It's been like that his entire career. I don't need a "speed/homerun" back that you think we need. Honestly, Freddy had as many big time plays for huge gains as CJ does except he scores on them usually. Just use Fred. Or any of the other backs for that role. It's over rated IMO.
  8. this i know your being sarcastic. Unfortunately it was years too late.
  9. I like it Yolo. And I think yiur right.
  10. so has Dixon, Brown, and Stefon Charles but nobody is giving them credit for getting love here either.
  11. Because he's a baby and plays the victim role too well. This whole holdout thing. Not showing up to the White House. The rumors that he would retire. It's over looked.
  12. I don't think that a guy that's been injured literally every single season of his NFL career that is completely unreliable to have a good game or a terrible game is worth any money. Sure, the games where he plays well are great. Just can't be relied on and are few and far between.
  13. That was freaking hilarious.
  14. id feel like it was wasted money that could have been spent on a LB, S, CB.
  15. i was thinking more along the lines of what they did last year. But I see your point.
  16. yeah. But you can do that with Hogan too. Meaning he's not big enough, fast enough, tough enough to get the ball and get to a first down against real NFL corners. TJ has show that he can do that. Maybe sometimes he destroys his own opportunities. True. But he still creates those opportunities more. Let's be realistic here. Hogan is a great story but he doesn't have the abilities to be an NFL WR regularly. TJ at least has that ability.
  17. do I have to look for pics of me sloshy drunk surrounded by Mighty Taco wrappers and wing bones and blue cheese?
  18. Fwiw, Hogan didn't help us win a single game last year. TJ did. But I still say let them play it out on the field.
  19. I'm not sore of this goes along with your criteria but here's my pick
  20. Let's just let this thing play out and keep whoever shows more during pre season and be done with it. Were just 2 days away from seeing for ourselves without question who shows more on the field. Let it play out people. We should all be hoping the Bills take the guy that makes plays and helps them win. We will know soon enough who does that when live bullets are flying.
  21. I'm even gonna break out my old Lee Evans jersey out of the back of the closet to show support for 83. Different name but the number covers it a little bit. And you guys thought I hated Evans too. How funny is that, I've got an Evans jersey and a CJ jersey and I believe both were over rated by Bills fans. Still doesn't mean I didn't like them as players or support them. Just a little tidbit for everyone that thinks I HATE CJ.
  22. I'm simply stating that ANY player is going to say all the right things. Over NEVER seen a player say "ya know, I just don't want to be here so I'm going to test FA" have you?
  23. It wasn't you hoser. Who the hell calls themselves a Bikls fan and schedules a pig roast on HOF weekend when probably the last Buffalo Bill in a very long time gets enshrined.
  24. really? Why do fans always do the opposite and assume that the player wants to be here? BecauE they read in some article that the player said that once? That's just being nice. That's just saying the right things so that the fans make it hard in the FO to make sure they offer top dollar so they don't lose him. Jairus Byrd said he wanted to be here too. So did many others. At the end of the day it's about production and money from either side. CJ doesn't out up enough production to be paid top dollar and that's what he's going to want in his first and probably only big contract.
