  1. i don't know if Abel and The younger son (Thomas)??? Are going to be law enforcement. But I like the idea and could see it happening. I will say that I like the Hamlett angle as well. Everyone dying. Probably except a few key players. Tig I think walls off before Jax heards everyone into certain Death. He'll leave with his tranny and live happily ever after. Chibs might get out with his Sheriff and had back to Scottland before all is said and done. Happy could die, or he could be the only one standing because he's just plain crazy and seems like he could live through anything. (He's my favorite character FYI and is an actual Hells Angel brought on the show originally for assistance). These are my ideas. In the end, Charming might actually be "Charming" at some point and people make site no one ever ruins their town ever again. Who knows.
  2. Sproles is the exact argument that I've been saying. He's really not that good. Has only had 1 single season with over 1,000 total yards from scrimmage. He's never lit up the end zone either. I don't get where people arguing that we should use him like Sproles. Why do you say that? Because he's got 2-3 years with over 500 receiving yards? If that's the case, just pay some nobody who's fast about 2 million a year to do that. Sounds like Goodwin to me. Sproles sucks at running the football. His stats prove that. Anyone to suggest otherwise are probably the same ones that think CJ is good too. Oh well, not everybody knows football that well. http://www.nfl.com/player/darrensproles/2506467/careerstats
  3. well said. Very well said. It's not about his average per carry. It's about how misleading it is, especially in the game time situations. A 30 yard run when your either up by a few scores, or down by too many to mean anything as far as a comeback are useless. Too many times, that's when CJ gets his yards. Rarely does he break one off when the game is in the line. It's always when the defense is expecting a pass and are in prevent. Or when they have already given up because they are down by so much. Comparing to Fred is bad use of a comparison IMO. But Fred (along with many other RBs in this league, not just the top 10) find ways to get those tough yards no matter what situation. They always find ways to fall forward. You think Darren McFadden isnt the only weapon on Oakland worth game planning and defending against? How bout MJD when he was on the Jags? How about either RB from the Panthers when they led the league in rushing before they even had Cam Newton? There literally dozens of examples I could find if I thought for 5 minutes but the fact is I'm pulling these off the top of my head. Good RBs are just good no matter what. They don't need those 15-30 yard runs a few times a game to bring their average up. They are grinders. I'm not saying there's no use for someone like Spiller. But nobody thinks Reggie Bush is a good RB. At least not for years while he was in NO. He was considered a bust. CJ is about the same. He gives you that factor. But doesn't do it enough to make a difference in the win column.
  4. post of the month right here-----^ Well done
  5. well, probably more like 3/4 of a yard but on the scoreboard they just call it a yard. Of you pulled the chain gang out though it would be 2nd and a short 9.
  6. yiur gonna have to ask JBoyst.
  7. have fun making more excises for a RB that couldn't make a case for starting. A RB that's never averaged 14 carries a game over his entire NFL career. Not even his "amazing" season when he averaged just 12 carries a game. Oh, yiur mind is already made up. Your gonna keep thinking he's something he's not. Oh, and FYI, 900 yards and 2 TDs is not "very good" but keep on, keepin on.
  8. there's only so long I can be on the inter webs without eventually clicking over to RedTube ;-)
  9. no way. I'd like to see you try and tell is which sites are better ;-)
  10. didnt play in his first 1.5 years because despite being given the starting position in preseason and the first few weeks of his rookie year he couldn't make a case to keep him on the field? Much like year 2 and year 4. Also, so far in year 5. Through the first 4 years of his career he's never averaged 14 carries a game. He's averaging 755 yards a season. And 3 TDs a season. Those are facts!!! Undespitable!!! You can call it whatever you want but you can't ever take that away from the guy. Sooner or later, you'll see it too that he causes is drives and losses because we can't sustain drives. Or you can keep believing in him that he'll turn it around and be something he's not. I used to make excises for him too. Then I realized how ridiculous I've been. It's like trying to squeeze blood from a stone. It's just not going to happen. Keep on keepin on. Life's a garden. Dit it.
  11. thats funny. I was gonna ask what the hell she's been eating. She must be a lesbian and she eats a lot of Kitty.
  12. believe whatever you want BRO. If you want to put Spiller up on a pedestal, you'll be the one looking like a tool when he flames out again this season. And the next 2-3 before he's never heard from again.
  13. yes and yes to the OP. As of right now were in 1st in the East. Tom Brady for the first time looks like just any other QB. Ryan Tennehill and the Phins are in murky waters. And Gemo Smith and the Jets are, well... Geno Smith and the Jets. Just keep us moving. A win this week with Orton could set is up for a huge game at home against the struggling Brady and Pats and we could be 4-2 with a stronghold of the AFC East. Likely? Who knows. But you've got to be optimistic heading into October don't you?
  14. 1st point is just another excuse. You think opposing teams don't/didn't gameplan for Priest Holmes? Adrian Peterson? Lesean McCoy? Matt Forte? Frank Gore? MJD? Jamaal Charles? They were game planned against when their teams had nothing else and still dominated at times. CJ had 1 good season. The other 3 are full of excises which is what your point is. 2nd point of yours would make sense except the fact that CJ wasn't the featured back when he had his good season. Off the top of my head I don't know what his average carries and touches were a game but I would guess it's less than 17 total touches.
  15. yeah. It goes the other way too. If the RB could keep more drives alive moving the chains, the QB would have more opportunities to succeed. Just saying. We could go round and round about this all day. But the facts are, that over 4 years, CJ has had 1 decent to good season rushing the ball. He has never had a season with 10 TDs however. He has never been consistant in moving the chains. He has struggled in 2 of 4 seasons with his other year being average. He has done this all with at least 2 different HCs and 2 different OCs. All while people making excises for him 3 out of 4 seasons. Facts. All facts.
  16. ibwas simply picking the lower end QBs of today. As of right now. Doesn't mean he will suck and won't get better. Which ironically, we can't definitively say that about EJ either.
  17. ok. Now do this breakdown over every one of his games and compare that to the top 10 in the league over an average and bottom 10 in the league over an average. Now see where he ends up. Then I'll say weather he was terrible or not. I'm not saying he's good. But honestly, I watch other QBs in the league and don't see incredible differences. Of course the Peyton Mannings and Tom Brady's of the world will be head over heels above. At the same time the Blake Bortles and Mark Sanches' of the world will be just as bad or worse. My guess is he probably ends up about 20-24 out of 32 starting QBs in the league.
  18. with multiple coaches , multiple coordinators in the NFL he hasn't been.
  19. id sign him for about 1.5-2.5m a year for kickoff duties ;-)
  20. yeah. Last I checked your still along excuses. Over the course of his career, he's been decent to good only 25% of the time. It's a fact.
  21. well... So far... I'm right and you just have excuses. Sounds about right.
  22. news for you. 1-3 yard runs while occasionaly ripping off a 15 yarder hurts against the thought you just made. Sustained methodical drives are not possible with a RB like CJ as your starter.
  23. well. Then apparently there were only 4 good RBs last season ;-)
  24. awesome. And probably true.
  25. whats your excuse for him running the football? Because his 40 rushes for 2 yards each with his 3 big runs of 30-40 aren't getting it done. It's not hard to figure this out but let me spell it out for you... 2 yard runs kill drives and make is punt the ball. CJ is theater of that. So when we get I to a 3rd and 6 situation, blame CJ for sucking in first and second down. K? ill take a bet with anyone that he NEVER has a season agin where he tops 1,100 yards. And never has 10 TDs rushing the ball. That's pretty lame for a starting RB in this league actually but he'll never get that.
