  1. lateral move would be good for Frank? I doubt that. He's much better off with Phillip Rivers as his QB and the Chargers no matter what. If your saying it's beneficial to us... Sure it is. But wouldn't happen.
  2. in general I understand this statement, however I feel that things have been getting better. The loss to the Chiefs is a good example. Usually Marrone is conservative as all hell. This week he went for the TD instead of going for the FG like he would usually do. They passed it quite a bit in the red zone because they can't rely on their running game. Orton missed Chandler, Woods, Hogan, and Sammy multiple times in the last few drives in the red zone and the play calls were there it's just Orton didn't capitalize. Hackett called the right game on Sunday IMO. The execution just wasn't there.
  3. probably correct
  4. I think Frank Reich will probably be on the short list for head coaches this offseason
  5. that's why it's best to watch Homeland live and as soon as it's over switch over to The Dead
  6. and again
  7. there you go being jealous again
  8. haha. Winning the hot dog thread and the breakfast sandwich thread.
  9. Thank you kind sir.
  10. im going to add to the point about loads of cap space... If we fail miserably to end the season, this FO will insist on a QB. There will be free agents available. There always are. And we will spend the money we would have spent on a first round pick on a QB. My guess is either Big Ben or Eli
  11. thats the key Cat. Unfortunately we are the kings of fluky, game deciding blunders. Have been guilty of that in almost every loss. With that said, I pretty much agree with your take. And the Chiefs game really was a must win because it seriously effects our playoffs chances with wild card implications losing to both the Chiefs and Chargers. But the real test is going to be in the division. Realistically. If we win out in the division throughout the rest of the year and finish 5-1 in the division (a stretch, I know) we could very well win the division still. It's gonna take us winning out in the division, and a win in any 2 other games. That allows us 2 losses against either the Packers, Broncos, Browns, or Raiders. The preferred losses would be to the Packers and Raiders as far as playoff implications goes. But we really do hold our own fate at this point. Gotta keep winning the important games.
  12. i haven't been there but I think I looked it up before and the place on Grand Island is no longer in business. Fwiw, I've been to a few places that have been on Man vs Food and they are usually terrible. Just because they are places that serve humongous servings doesn't make them good. For example, The Silo has "The Haystack" and it's absolutely crap compared to good steak subs in the area. i had Russell's once a few years ago shortly after it opened. It was really good. I wouldn't have rated it as one of my top 5 or maybe even top 10 steaks ever. But it was really good.
  13. Orton had players open on at least 4 plays in 2 drives Insode the red zone. He missed his receivers for TDs. Chandler twice. Woods. Sammy twice. Hogan twice.
  14. hackett made the right calls. We had plenty of chances and Orton didn't execute. The last few drives alone he had at least 5 serious opportunities to score and missed his receivers.
  15. yup. Those 6 ft throws into the ground were truly head scratchers. He seemed like he was scared to get hit at times. And if your going to throw it away like that, throw it as far as you can downfield and hope that one of your playmakers can make a play on the ball.
  16. Very surprised the Mullet fessed up honestly. No surprised he got knocked the F%#K out though. He hit the ground like he was dead.
  17. Mead, Flutie, Cletus... As always, the Stromboli was great and the company even better. Was awesome getting together with you guys yesterday. Looking forward to combining our tailgates going forward from here on out. And a special thanks to Hammer for setting us up with special TBD parking.
  18. Orton for not getting anything done in the red zone on so many attempts. Our red zone offense was terrible. Orton under threw Sammy twice, missed Hogan over the middle. Woods over the middle. Hogan over top in the back left corner. Chandler. The list could go on and on. And That's not saying anything about his passes that went nowhere in the dirt, not even close to his receivers.
  19. It was truly a great strip by a defender that came out of nowhere at the last second possible.
  20. Orton was terrible at the worst times yesterday.
  21. He's going to get paid a very large amount of money for some team willing to pay him. I don't see the Bills doing that. And it hurts.
  22. overpriced and overrated. I used to go there at least once a month when I worked at Ingram Micro. Honestly, if I didn't get free meals all the time I wouldn't spend the money to go there on my own.
  23. are you serious ?
  24. I used to make a sub at the pizza place I worked at. Called it "The Heart Attack" Ribeye steak and cheese Italian sausage Cappicola Extra oil Extra mayo Hot sauce Raw onions Lettuce Tomatoes Salt and pepper You know that feeling when you swallow something that you didn't chew enough and it feels like it won't make it down your throat and your going to suffocate. It's pretty much like that no matter what.
