Chargers at 49ers Game Thread - 8:25 EST on NFLN and CBS
mrags replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ugh the 49ers are terrible -
how do you consider Kyle Prton a better QB? You have watched him turtle behind the LOS just seeing the DL snarl at him from across the line. You have seen him throw like 5 yards short or over his WRs heads right. Again. For the 1,000 time. I'm not saying I want Cutler or should make the trade. I'm simply stating that Cutler is much better than Kyle Orton.

This game turned rather nasty.

you have seen the Bills play the last few weeks right? You have seen zero Touchdowns on offense right? You have seen Kyle Orton look at the DEs and just turtle on the turf right? If you haven't seen that, then I assume you haven't watched the Bills play and therefore I have no need to argue with you about this.

your the one that started it.

"paying for a guy" is misleading. It's not my money. Were gonna be between 20-30m under the cap this offseason. It's not gonna be that big a deal. And regardless, the fact is that our other option at QB is Kyle Freaking Orton!!! It's not that cutler is amazing by any means. He's better than Orton. And I'm not saying we should make the trade for him. I'm simply arguing the fact that Orton sucks and Cutler is better. If we had Cutler as our QB we probably would have 2 more wins.

fyi. I never said I anything about me leaving my tailgate for a pretzel or a boiled hot dog. I was stating what new concessions were available. I know how to tailgate. I've been doing it for 20 years. And I'm not your F#%King son. Maybe I should be telling you to Learn to get a watch and make it into the gates in time for kickoff!!! Look. If you really think it's worse than before. So be it. I can't help it if not everyone can learn that some things change and maybe your entry before the renovations aren't the same as they are now. Again, I leave a few minutes early to ensure I get into the stadium, get a few beers, take a piss and get to my seats before the opening kickoff it's not F%#King rocket science. And telling me how to tailgate because I leave 20 minutes earlier??? Really? What time do you get to your tailgate in the morning? Because I'm usually at Hammers lot by 730am on game day.

keep dreaming. It takes a lot of hard work to amass this kind of knowledge.

i call it the way I see it. You started a thread to complain about the changes when many of them are on you. You don't like how long it takes to get in.... Get in earlier. You don't like how cold it is.... Wear a thicker jacket. You don't like the fact that your concessions don't take credit cards... Carry cash You don't like your bathrooms... Hold It or find one you do like. You don't like the food... Bring in a wegmans sub. Fixed.

I have no problem calling anyone anything to their face. And I wasn't calling you a douchbag. I was simply stating many douchbags were complaining about that over and over again at the beginning of the year. The same people that would booze at their tailgate and walk Into the stadium half cocked and wonder why the game already started. You clearly stated you are not one of those kind of people. That's fine. It is what it is. The facts are still simple. Get in a little early or miss some of the game. Can't expect to just walk in whenever you please and for the game to start the second you sit in your seat and the hell with everyone else at the stadium. You know what time kickoff is and have known all year long. So it's not like it's a surprise. I've had seasons since I moved back to Buffalo since 2006 and before that had been to dozens of games. 1 time in my life I made the mistake of heading into the game late and I learned that time that it'll never happen again. I made my choice. The old gate system was almost exactly the same only not as big but more gates. Overall, there are more lines now. Depends on what gate you enter. Of your on the north side of the stadium, it's gonna be busier than the south side. If your on the east side, it's not nearly as busy as the west. Basically, if you walk farther away from Southwestern or Abbott, the lines become less and less. But if your in line at 12pm it's about a 3 minute wait. Pick your poison. And I still stand pat on the fact that heated concourses is not only ridiculous, it's borderline crazy to expect that out of any outdoor stadium.

brady. Happy.

dude. You started a topic to complain about the changes and them not being enough for you. There were clearly changes made regardless what you believe. You also, like many other douchbags, complain about making it into the stadium on time for kickoff but stated that you waited until about a half hour until kickoff to make your walk into the stadium. You made a comment that you tried getting into the stadium early before but you were too bored being too early. Act like a man and make some choices. Either you don't like being bored and you wait but loss some of the game or head in early and get yourself situated before everything happens. Quit your complaining or stop going to games. I'm good at annoying you though.

apparently nobody in the NFL knows about football either because Tom Nrady should have been the first draft pick in his draft. And Ryan Leaf should have been hung from a bridge when he was 18. It doesn't work the way you say it does.

your logical. your just not

thanks. I just reread it and realized how fat my fingers were this morning. Lots of spelling and grammatical errors. But the gist of it is there. It should make sense and it is based on facts. At the end of the day, the defenses CJ goes up against isn't going to just let him "get in space" and run for the end zone. Defenses have players that cover recievers. They have LBs that tackle RBs. If CJ can't "get into space" or get open, or run through the holes the line is giving him, that's his fault for not being good enough. Freddy doesn't seem to have a problem picking up 3-4 yards every carry even of its straight into the line. Bryce Brown and Boobie Dixon don't seem to heaving those issues lately either. I really hope CJ lights it up for the rest of the season and we make it into the playoffs and he's the MVP of the Super Bowl. But even if that actually happened, I still don't want him back next year.

1. Put down the beer bong and get into the stadium at noon. Take your time, wall right in to the stadium with almost zero wait, take a piss (I'll get to that in a minute), grab a beer and a pretzel (also in a minute) and get to your seat by the time they announce the starting ayers and the national a them. 20 minutes is seriously all it takes. But if you must insist on that extra minutes of tailgating, don't bother to complain about it. 2. Those "damn boulders" are more than just a waste of space. They are for security purposes. Regardless of you feel this way or not, the NFL is absolutely worried about terrorist and other attacks on their facilities, especially when there's 80k people involved every Sunday. Those boulders are a more visually pleasing way of placing parking lot barriers so that a giant vehicle with explosives could pull right up and drive into the stadium. 3. Can't argue too much about the paint scheme. While I agree that Blue and Red would be better becaise of team colors, black is completely neutral and it doesn't look bad. 4. The restrooms... Walk around the stadium and do some looking. I know you don't have much time to because you wait until the last minute to put down the beer bong and finally walk to the stadium, but many of the bathrooms have been remodeled and some have been added around the stadium. I have no troughs in my restroom and there was about a 30 second wait at halftime getting to a urinal. It actually took longer to wash my hands than it did waiting in line to use the pisser. 5. The concession stands have taken credit for years. I haven't brought cash into the stadium since 2010 and manage to buy food and beer all the time. The stands are also new and do offer new food items and are much better than they used to be. The chicken fingers from the La Nova stands are good. The Tacos seem to be a huge hot and the roast beef doesn't look to bad. As far as how packed they are. Again, take a walk around the stadium. If you head over to the Coors Light zone you will find a row of beer vendors that you virtually can walk up to and have a beer within 1 minute. Again, take a walk. 6. Heat lamps in the concourse? Really? This just explains it all. I'm sorry. I said out down the beer bong and get into the stadium. What I meant to say was out down your bottle of Dom and pack up the basket with 10 year aged Brie and put it into the back of your $60k Chevrolet Tahoe with heated leather seats and get into the stadium early. ;-)

id feel better going into New England in a week with the playoffs on the line than I do about Kyle Freaking Orton playing that game. Over the last 4 weeks, if defenders just look at Orton, he falls down on his own. Yeah. I'm pretty sure I'd rather have Cutler and an extra 3rd or 4th round draft pick. Oh, and I'll still keep Kyle Orton as a backup schmuck to dust off EJs balls once a week.
