What Kolby at WR does for the Bills right now
mrags replied to KingRex's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the first part is absolutely true. The 2nd part is absolutely laughable. In 3 seasons he has accumulated 20 receptions for just over 300 yards and 3 TDs. Oh, and it's not like he's been Injured the entire time either as he's played over 20 games in that time frame. http://m.pfref.com/m?p=XXplayersXXGXXGoodMa00.htm&t=0 Jesus.... Now I remember why I left for over a year. -
unless Taylor lights it up if imagine we would. Except I think next years time he'll be rated to go higher than the mid teens. He'll be a top 5-10 pick
-
it would be really tough to mock up a 2106 draft class. Just saying
-
If the Bills are picking 16 that means they didn't make the playoffs and it also means Taylor failed miserably. So I'll go ahead and say if that actually happens they will have a need at QB. If Chad Kelly is there they will take him in a New York Minute.

Your missing the whole point. Even if Glass concentrated solely on football, he still wouldn't add height and weight to his tiny frame which is the main reason he sucks. He can't stay healthy and he can't stay in the field even when he is healthy. He's hist not good. Oh, and btw, I know you probably idolize him for making a play against Leon Lett in the biggest blowout in Super Bowl history, but Beebee sucked too. -

actually, he can't play. He's borderline terrible. He shouldn't be on this roster or almost any roster in this league. I also think the statement about training for the Olympics vs Football is bogus. The man has literally spent the last 3 years training for football. And he's proved he still sucks. This year he made it known he's taking one last shot at the Olympics (not absurd to think this is his last shot considering in 4 years he'll have lost a bit). The fact is, just like Roscoe Parrish (I'm assuming you made excuses for him too) he is just way to small to play in the nfl. If your under 180lbs, chances are your going to be injured way too often. You just don't have enough meat on your bones to take the impacts. And don't say this has to do with training for the Olympics either. He just doesn't have a big enough frame to put on the weight needed. Does that mean Listenbee will be any better than Glass because he is taller and bigger? Nope. As others pointed out, you can be the fastest man in the world but if you can't beat a guy pressing you at the LOS it doesn't mean squat. -

RD 6, Pick 192: WR Kolby Listenbee, TCU

RD 6, Pick 192: WR Kolby Listenbee, TCU
mrags replied to Steve Billieve's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I noticed that as well on the "highlights" that his speed doesn't look so blazing. I wondered if it was because of his QB not having the throwing power to lead him properly. On a few plays I did see him track the ball and go get it. Other plays it looked like he had troubles. I know nothing about his QB so I couldn't tell you. But that's why I said he might have issues with acceleration but not speed. Not enough to pull away from his defender at first but once he gets going, he can pull away. -

technically? No. But it could very well mean that he has some real top end speed but not quick acceleration. So if that was the case, then yeah it would matter in the LOS -

I didn't see his combine but I will say after watching his 10.03 100m race he didn't have a very good start. His come from behind speed was amazing in that race. -

he plays ot better than Goodwin. Based on the 3minute video I just watched. Not to mention the fact that he's not a twig. Not to mention the fact he's a 6th round pick and shouldn't expect anything. -

now, I don't know anything about Listenbee other than watching videos and reading some info on him. But I can tell you from a former track star myself, sprinters are physical specimens. Listenbee is a sprinter. Very muscular. Raw power. Goodwin is first and foremost a jumper with speed. He is not only 20+ lbs lighter and 4" shorter than Listenbee, he isn't nearly as muscular. Which would probably be the reason he can't put pads on without getting injured. Before I hear all the crap from people that being 4" shorter and only 20lbs lighter actually means he's more muscular by %. Just zip it. 170lbs and 200 is a huge difference. It's like Roscoe Parrish. Same thing. Ever see his calves? My forearms are thicker. i noticed that too. Tracks the ball very well. Fights for it. And it seemed like his QB just threw it up and made him go and get it half the time. Which he did. -
I'm sold in Mitchell as well. Just hope 2 things: 1. He's there when we pick 2. Whaley and Rex see what we all see

RD 3, Pick 80: DT Adolphus Washington, The Ohio State U

sounds exactly like a younger version of Kyle honestly when you put it that way. And make no mistake about it, he will eventually be his replacement. Give it 1 year at most. Probably less considering Kyles recent injury issues. Every year the last few years he's been pretty banged up. -
2016 draft rounds 2 & 3 around the league

having only watched highlights. I'll take that answer. But another thing really occurred to me is that even if Washington is more suited to play DE. Guess who will most likely be gone in a year... Everyone's favorite injured DL, Kyle Williams. Washington will take his spot and next year we will draft a bigger and more suited NT if that's the case. -

Maybe it's me and my untrained eye but I really don't get why people don't like the Washington pick. He looks like a beast in tape (all I've seen is in highlights). I even hear people complaining that Reed was really needed to play NT. I don't get the difference. They are both the same height and Reed is 6Lbs heavier. Hell, I just added 6lbs being in vacation for a week. It's really not that big of a difference. So if Reed would be a great NT then Washington shouldn't be far off. Again. It's just the tape I watch but I don't understand why so much hate for Washington but so much love for Reed. -
you got it right CBF. And thank you for the support. It's a thankless job usually and sometimes all we want to hear is a little support from the people that are on the outside. im going to defer on this one. Maybe a story for a Bills tailgate sometime.

Thanks for the updates guys. Keep it up. Found a TV with nfl network here but currently at dinner so I won't be there for a little bit. -
Cravens Bell Dodd Billings Boyd Mitchell Thomas Ragland Jack (scary) Jones (even scarier) All would be killer 2nd or 3rd round picks and honestly. I think there's a shot at 2 of them.
-
he always gets booed. As do the Pats when they are on the board.
-
when you do what I do for a living, this kind of story is like a bedtime story
-
Nkdechie would have been really nice in the 2nd. Oh well. Jack Reed Ragland Prolly in that order.
