Preston Brown with an interesting quote..
mrags replied to Over 29 years of fanhood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
thats where I'm at. I never said I didn't want him on my team. But he is over rated. And the opinions of "pff, ESPN, his peers, fans, everyone else" prove that. He really isn't that good. Not as good as they claim he is. He is loved by many because of what he represents. Which is also what Freddy represented. Same with Aaron Schobel, Lee Evans, etc... He is/was the best player on a crappy team for years. That doesn't mean that any of them was actually good, it just means they were the best of the crap we had to watch. They gave many something to route for in times when there wasn't much hope for anything else. That's fine. I like Kyle. But he's just not that good and people should really get used to not having him around because he'll be lucky to make it on the final roster this season. And if he does it'll be his last. -

You presented stats? The stats that he averages 3.5 sacks a season over his entire career? Wow. You really showed me there didn't you. Opinion are like a&$holes... Everybody has one and most of them stink of s#%t. So the opinion of the so called experts on ESPN and other sports media outlets really don't mean a warm bucket of urine to me. I did say love fest. It's clearly what you have for an average player considering you are fighting until the end for him even after being proven by stats that he's not that good. Btw... I never say anything about being gay. If you read it as such, then you probably need to figure some things out for yourself. Don't get mad at me for it. You brought it up. Again, if you went back 4 years you would see he has missed significant time. You didn't. You decided to stop at 3 years to make it look like he hasn't missed as much. If he wasn't injured 4 years ago would you have asked the question about the last 4 years or would you have went back further. I'm guessing you would have went back as many years as you could just to prove your point but you couldn't because 4 years ago he missed 11 games. I stated his stats with a purpose showing his stats have increased significantly since being lined up next to Mario and Marcel. You apparently read that differently. It's ok, you didn't understand anything else so I wouldn't expect you to understand that either. Comparing him to Spiller, Evans, Parrish, and Edwards was in no way a comparison of actual talent. They were all generally talentless over their careers. Or at least over rated. It was a comparison that some people actually feel a player is better than they really are. Usually it's because they are a blue collar lunch pal to work type of guy. Usually they aren't nearly as good as they hype them up to be. And that is why I say you have a love fest with him. Much like many others. Don't feel bad, your not the only one. Enjoy your Memorial Day. -

well, actual play is skewed as I pointed out since he has lined up next to Mario and Marcel for the last 3 years. So that argument means nothing. But if you want to keep making that point then let's have at it. Before Mario and Marcel he finished the season with 0,2,2,4, 5.5 sacks. Since Mario and Marcel- 5, 10.5, 5.5, 1 His stats increased significantly since Lining up next to REAL Pro Bowlers. He averages less 3.5 sacks a year over his career in case you can't do the math. I also find it hilarious that you mentioned that the 3 years before this year when he was injured he was only injured for 1 game. However, if you go back 4 years, he misses 12 total games. Funny you stopped at 3 years. It's ok though. You don't get the point that even though a player plays in games doesn't mean he's healthy. And is sure doesn't mean he has played well enough to warrant a start. And on to the fact that he was voted to the pro bowl by his peers. Yeah, it's a joke. Same as it's always been. Like how Ruben Brown used to go to every pro bowl based off voting because he used to throw massive parties every year he was voted in. He didn't deserve it either. It's fine. You have a love fest with Kyle Williams. Just like many here had a love fest for Lee Evans, Aaron Schobel (who by the way is hands down a much better player than Kyle ever was), than CJ Spiller, Roscoe Parrish, Trent Edwards, etc... The list could go on and on. In the end, I'll be proven right. Kyle, as good as many feel he is, is just a locker room leader and not a whole lot more. I hope his jersey still fits you though when you dream about him 10 years from now. -
i couldn't decide so I'm sticking with my Crapsmen for another year. Next year I'll probably go with an Ariens.

agree X1,000 Kyle isn't the god that many here claim him to be. He's a "good" player. Not great. Not even pro bowl material (I don't care what the rest of the league voted him as). He has not been that good for years now and he's benefited from having Maruo and Marcel next to him the last 3 years. He's also constantly injured. He will decline this year even more and then people will be calling for Father Time excuses. for the first time ever I left a game early against NYG. No doubt in my mind it was a clusterF$&K and a sure loss. As I left the stadium I was stopped by security at one of the exits as they held everyone up so that Pegula, his wife and Doug Whaley could pass. Even they didn't want to sit around and watch the crap on the field. -
So sorry to hear about your dog. They are family. Better than family. I haven't felt your pain yet but I know the day will come at some point. Just know that she loved you and you made her as happy as she made you. If you need anything... Mrags

His favorite restaurant is also one of the best Mexican places I've ever been. I've been told he goes there often. I've seen him there myself. Based on their menu, he ain't getting anything healthy let me tell you that.

thos is my point. Anyone that actually says that Buffalo isn't or shouldn't be ranked in places with the most delicious foods has to see this and understand it. Even surgery can't hold back the deliciousness of fattening Buffalo food.

omg!!! Forgot about the lawnmower scene. Such a great movie. Been trying to find it on BluRay but can't find it.

How did they take video of that? That wouldn't happen in our OTAs with our media guidelines. So happy Rex and Doug got the media reporting down to a minimum or everyone would see how silly we are. -
this X1,000

if Vince had allowed other owners to own the teams and kept himself in a commissioner type role we may be looking at the XFL still in business today. Between that and some of the silly ideas it could have been a real difference. It's amazing the XFL cost Vince over $1B and he's still rich after throwing that away.

why? So you could tease him by walking around in tight yoga pants?

I'd buy them a cheapo $20 or less hose from Value and explain to them that you don't want to have any future issues so you will not be cutting their lawn anymore in the future. I really hope they didn't B word at you for mowing the hose up. Cause if they were nasty about it if tell them to F#K OFF.

Dumb. Just dumb. First thing to my mind was do you have any idea how hard it is to wash off the bugs from the front of my truck in the summertime? Now I have to try and wash off people every other day? Google and other idiotic companies, along with idiotic people just need to realize that not everything can be a completely safe activity. Here's a secret, when you travel faster than most people can run, you run the risk of injuring yourself. S@#T happens. People die.
