Karlos Williams suspended 4 games for substance abuse
mrags replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i don't know much about the kid but I saw a lot of really terrible tackling in that video. He better get used to LBs in the NFL tackling like men. -

Help from this draft-class is already fading (Williams DUI)
mrags replied to Ronin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You said this years draft but then added in players that were either previously drafted or traded for. Lawson and Williams are the only ones worth mentioning of your going by the title of your own thread. And I don't think the NFL will suspend Williams for a DWI. Has anyone ever been suspended for a DWI in the league? I'm asking seriously as I don't know. But I just don't see it happening. That leaves Lawson. Sure, he'll miss some time and camp and all that but he will get on the field after about the first quarter of the season. I'm not saying it won't have effected him, but hopefully he can produce right about the time Kyle Williams always gets hurt. -
That was freaking hilarious.

A Look Back at the Stevie Johnson Trade

i don't think Tasker is arguing Sammys talent and potential. He's talking about not only his ability to stay in the field but his ability to take over games like a true superstar. So far, Sammy hasn't shown that. -

well I'm not 100% in agreeance with you on everything. I do agree with Sammy. He's not shown to be a stud superstar at WR. Sure he's shown flashes, but nothing in multiple games to show he can take over a game and win it on his own. I will say the 2nd half of last year showed he could step it up but nothing incredible. Over the full course of the year like that would be something but half a season doesn't tickled my taint. -

im not arguing that he's an awesome talent. And I'm not arguing that he hasn't played the overwhelming shorty of games. But he has had some issues staying on the field at times. I'll say it again tho, this is a put up or shut up year for him. He's had multiple issues at different times. One of which is calling out Bills fans right after he missed some time. -

I would have rather had Stevie than Percey Harvin in a heartbeat. Forget that, I would have rather had Stevie than any other WR we have on this team. I won't say, that includes Sammy, but I'm pretty close. Sammy is look like a Nancy out there. This season will be a put up or shut up for him IMO. If he misses some games because of minor injuries... I'm no longer going to believe he's a future superstar. He'll be just another what if, coulda been typ of player. -
oh sure. Blame me. Blame you. Blame the cop. Blame society for this one idiot too stupid to realize that a gun in your lap when being pulled over by the police is a bad idea. It's all society's fault. Blame everyone but yourself. Oh wait... The new thing is to blame it on mental illness. Yeah, that's it's. He was mentally unstable. That'll win in court.
-
having a gun in your lap is not a good way to present yourself to a cop. And when the cop says to stop moving and you keep moving... I'll say it, you deserve to die. That cop has rights too. And he presented a threat. Regardless how much or little you think it is. I hardly think your going to be comfortable in that situation. I said it. He deserved to die. He had no business having a gun in his lap. He was not a concealed carry permit holder and at the very least should have had it in a lock box of some kind. I don't expect you to understand. I'm done here.

Legal guns and illegal guns are 2 completely different things. And I say that knowing there is technically no difference in the gun. But it depends on whose possession it's in. I think your 100% wrong on this Exilled. Cops or anyone for that matter shouldn't have feel safe when someone is waving a gun around, or simply driving around with it in their lap. He wasn't a liscensed carrier and any real liscensed carrier would know it's not something you do. Liscensed carry holders get pulled over all the time and dont get shot. The r Asron they don't is because they aren't azzholes. Nor are they trying to start an argument with a cop when there is a gun present and the cop might take things as aggression. Uiu can believe what you want. But you live in a place where guns are not allowed at all and yet you say cops should just deal with it. By that fact, every gun carried in Chicago and surrounding areas is illegal and everyone carrying a gun deserves to get shot of they are driving around with it in their laps. There's also the Issue that just because this guy worked at a school and appeared to be an upstanding citizen doesn't make it so. Usually someone driving around smoking weed with a gun in their lap is up to no good. At the very least, an idiot.

Police Shamelessly cite Terrorism in Patrolling Private Lots

my Bias is showing??? How about my misuse of the way the video was shown. What the F<K ever. It was live streamed... After the shooting took place. She specifically stated in the video that they were pulled over for a busted tail light. And that he was licensed to conceal carry. Both statements were 100% false. Regardless if she lied about it or was unaware of her lies, you; or the other millions of people watching don't know that. Here's some info about how they were pulled over because he fit the description of someone involved in a robbery a few days ago. https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2016/07/08/confirmed-philando-castile-was-an-armed-robbery-suspect-false-media-narrative-now-driving-cop-killings/ It also states that he was not licensed to carry. And any real registered gun owner and liscensed to conceal carry individual knows that guns don't gon in laps when you are driving around town. They go into carry cases or are stored in a lockbox such as a locked glove compartment, or the trunk, with the ammo in a separate compartment. But most people not educated about gun laws wouldn't know that. So I don't hold it against you. My bias is showing??? Really? I think it's funny that you have fought to the ends of earth for these people claiming they have done nothing wrong. When you in fact don't know for sure if that is actually how things went down. that makes you a hypocrite. But I wouldn't expect anything different. You've already expressed your opinions on law enforcement and how they wrongfully target blacks. If you ask me... You bias is the one showing. -
i also find it funny that the same people that were there rallying against police and for BLM, were the same people hiding behind the police they were protesting against. i tried to earlier as well, I can only assume he has blocked you or his mailbox is full.

it was justified because even if the guy was legally permitted to own a gun he was not permitted to conceal carry and as someone that is registered to conceal carry, it would take the biggest of idiots to carry their weapon in their lap when being pulled over by the police. At the very least it was a terrible judgment call by Castillo. One that cost him his life. We don't know the story as the only video leaked is the one from his girlfriend that is proven to be riddled with lies, or if you believe she didn't know, misinformation. But the officer in the video (after the actual shooting) is standing there stating that Castillo did not listen to his requests to show his hands. And that's all the officer knew at this point. -

in these cases, the officer was justified as both men had weapons and were resisting to the officers orders. But yes, I would support punishment. If the situation was right. I do all the time. -
i won't bother to ask what you make but NYS DOCCS is hiring. Well gladly take a few good officers. I'm sure you would do just fine. Your welcome to apply. And we also have seen increases in healthcare as well. I don't have family health with my employer so I can't vouch for what family costs went up but mine certainly did.

hpw would you like to take a pay cut of $5k a year to help pay for them? On that note, how much a year do you get paid? How about we swap salaries? That's very Democratic of you to willingly give up $5k of your yearly income to make sure every cop in the country has cameras. All of this by the way does effect me. As my workplace is being fitted for over 1,600 cameras and microphones to cover every square inch. Of course with our contract being up, I'm going to assume we won't be getting any raises as its a multimillion dollar project. When was the last time you got a raise? Because in my line of work we dont get 3% a year like many Americans. So essential, without any raise, we lose a significant amount with cost of living increases alone.
-
i don't have a clue what the costs would be but this country is already so far into debt, let's just add some more. Why not. I don't know specifics on the cameras but I heard a recent quote of $5k per camera for the actual equipment and then the storage of the videos. If that's changed or 100% accurate, I cannot knowingly acknowledge.

im simply stating that people have a right to move anywhere they like. We see people burning American flags and stomping on American flags because they feel so wronged by this country. If they hate the country so much why stay?
