oddly, the add on above the scoreboard in that pic is photoshopped. It hasn't been put up yet. It's not there at this time. The posts it's held under by stop at the top of the billboard.

they all look like adds. But those other ones actually look like there was some money out into them. Ours looks like a wallpapered billboard. They can spend the money however they want. It just looks cheap and like a sign id see on my way to the Outlet Mall. I get it, most here think I'm getting too worked up over it. They think I'm being stupid. That's fine. I don't care. I think it looks like a 2nd rate cheapo sign as opposed to a 1st class signage on a multimillion dollar building.

so why bother to put up the signage overnight then? If it's just temporary, why bother putting anything on their for now. Why not just wait until opening day of the season and unveil a newly designed logo on the stadium in a professional way. Not a bunch of wallpaper on a billboard

that was the reason for my disgust Fridge. I think the billboard looks hideous. I too, welcome New Era as a sponsor and name for the stadium. I don't even care too much about removing Ralph's name from not only the stadium name but the front sign itself. New Era Field seems fine by me. I just think the advertisement is lame. I agree with your photoshopped logo. Something along those lines. Maybe red white and blue in the background. Maybe the name New Era in big huge letters. Anything but 3 stupid hats in a billboard.

calling Ralph, Cheap is just a clueless term made by clueless people that don't know what they are talking about. Ralph spent money to better this team. The problem is he made the wrong rescissions on what and who to spend the money on. But congrats, if it makes you feel better thinking he was cheap and a terrible owner.

naming rights are one thing. Painting a giant Billboard add with a few hats in it is something else. Opinions differ. You don't care. I think it looks like a cheesy billboard.

your 100% right. So why bother changing the sign out front? Ralph named the stadium after himself because after The Rich naming rights expired he didn't have any takers for the rights thy made it worth it. To my knowledge, Ralph used the naming rights in his own name as a tax right off and donated that money every year I believe. Could be wrong about that hit I heard that before.

this is an entirely different issue I have than what this thread was meant to be about. I agree 100% with this. New Era Field at Ralph Wilson Stadium would be a good option. Something like that. But I won't take away from that too much. It's a new owner and a new naming deal, I get it was going to happen eventually. I just don't like the cheesy billboard they chose for the front door. It looks cheap at the very least. A serious kind of signage would have been good. You don't see MetLife, or Gilette Stadium with a cheap overnight billboard wallpaper advertisement on it.

if people didn't look at it, they wouldn't put anything there.
