You all arguing with me are getting WAY too worked up over this. Just because I didn't mention certain coaches and teams they played for, etc... Apparently you didn't read my post very well when I said I know the entire league is full of ex players. It's why the NFL is. I just don't believe bringing back a former buffalo LEGEND!!! To be our coach because it makes us feel all good inside. And yes. He is a legend. He's in the NFL hall of fame for orchestrating the greatest comeback in the game. In fact they call it "THE COMEBACK". That makes him a legend. Until they remove him from their record books he will always be. But that's besides the point. The point is he's a well known player from an era that we all wish would come back. While we're at it why don't we hire Kelly to be our QB coach. Thomas to be our RB coach. Brice to be our DL coach. Hull to be our OL coach. Reed to be our WR coach. Tasker for our STs coach. And we'll bring back Carl Mauck cause why not. He's awesome. And yes, I know Hull is dead.

While I agree with you Gug that Tyrod has not been good. The fact is, after a full year of being the starter. Being the starter in camp. A whole off season to get better. He hasn't. If anything he's been worse than last year. However, he has absolutely nobody to throw the ball to. A bunch of practice squad talented WRs and a Olympic failure at the long jump. Woods is decent but if your expecting him to be your number 1 or even number 2 without a real number 1 then your screwed. I don't think EJ is any better. Especially with what we have at WR. Tyrod makes plays with his legs that EJ couldn't dream of that gives us more chances to win. Besides, EJ is a FA this offseason and we need to find out if Tyrod will earn a ridiculous contract. IMO, unless he has an other worldly 2nd half of the season he will be gone. I also agree with a previous poster that I'd rather see what we have in Cardale than EJ. And believe that if we are out of it with a few weeks to go, you might get a chance to see Jones fling it a few games. But that's only if Tyrod keeps with the trend of a downward slope and we are completely eliminated. That way we know we suck and know we aren't bringing Tyrod back. The thing that scares me is the love that Rex has for Tyrod and the fact that this is Whaleys first QB as GM (I know we claim EJ but that's not 100% on him because Buddy was still here). They might be married to him and refuse to admit a mistake. That's IF he continues to look bad.

ugh. Just because Elway is a good GM doesn't mean Reich is the answer for our HC. Or any former player for that matter. Yes, former players all over the league are coaches and GMs. It happens. They are almost always former players. Just depends on the teams they get hired. Id rather not be the team to get all nostalgic about their beloved player from back in the glory years. Marv Levy was a great GM btw.

I have a serious problem with bringing back former players/legends to coach for this team or attempt to be a savior for this team. It rarely ever works out in a positive way and it usually deflates the legacy of that former player. this too

dont sound like Mike Schoop. There were soany drops it was incredible. The fact of who they put it in being the QB or WR is stupid. Taylor would have been much better with actual NFL relievers out there not scrubs that load the carts at Wegmans

Trent Edwaeds was never the same after his hit in Arizona. And I wouldn't put manning in there since he came back from it. Broke the season TD record with it. And won a Super Bowl with it.

who are the backup WRs? Safeties? RBs (I know, Gillislee but apparently they don't want to use him at all. Instead they go with Bush). I don't disagree that Whaley has found some great talents at spots. But he's also left this team incredibly thin at spots. Positions that he knew would be issues like WR and Safety with the 2 main contributors having an injury history.

According to everyone here, Goodwin is amazing and he has been available all season. Salas is just meh. Listenbee is unknown. Easley is a joke. you have done entirely too much acid in your life.
