  1. no. Sullivan is not from Buffalo
  2. I didn't read what he wrote but you are generally correct that he finds negative in things. 1- he doesn't cover everything in rose colored glasses. 2- he's from the New England area and he is not a Bills fan so it's no surprise he's not a fan of this team. He does his job.
  3. i don't think anyone was saying he couldn't pick up the defense. We were saying he's not a good fit for the defensive scheme. With that said, I thought he played fairly well tonight. Some plays not so much, and some other really well. Hopefully he continues to improve. But based off tonight I would put the trade talks on the back burner. He looked serviceable at least.
  4. no. It doesnt. But if he's so bad that he's going To be cut, shouldn't you entertain the idea? you keep holding on to what the coaching staff said before they demoted him to 3rd string. I don't disagree that it's too early to make a judgment on him. I'm also smart enough to know that he's playing out of place in a 4/3 defense. Also not bashing the player as I have already stated. It's not his fault he's being asked to do things he's obviously not comfortable with. Like a square peg in a round hole. Again, I don't think he's awful. I think he's out of place. With that said, maybe some coach somewhere that employs a 3/4 defense has a need for an ILB. Or maybe there is a coach out there that thought highly of him coming out of college and believes they can work with him. I don't expect to get much for him. Maybe a 5th round pick with possibility to become a 4th if he plays well. Or maybe an OLB for a 4/3 that a 3/4 heavy scheme doesn't need. Maybe a special teams player that can actually see the field on Sunday's. because right now, the 3rd string MLB isn't going to see the field. He will be a player that doesn't even dress on game day.
  5. dont bother. yiu can make all the sense you want. But the fact that Ragland has been demoted to the 3rd string will never get through these people's skulls. It must just be the defensive terminology tho.
  6. possibly a stupid coach who employs a 3/4 defense that has a 4/3 LB and would like a straight up trade? Or just a coach that hasn't seen him play yet and thinks he can get a player for almost nothing.
  7. this makes sense
  8. did you really just mention Dareus as a player that is not dumb??? Really???
  9. just stop. Your divisional too. He's a thumper. Just like Brandon spikes was. He's not suited for a 4/3 MLB. End of story. And if I'm wrong and he is, then he's just terrible and can't beat out a bunch of undrafteds and is on the 3rd team. If I'm wrong, you won't have to worry about Ragland much more because he will play his way off this team when the cuts needs to start happening.
  10. that is beyond an understatement.
  11. he is the best LB we have now and the best we've had in years. Again, you have an issue with the only decent to good one we currently have. Don't. Have an issue with the OLBs. Have an issue with ragland because he can't beat out a "slightly above average" lb.
  12. Maybe you should start a thread on our absolutely terrible OLBs we have on this team right now. If you want to talk about a weakness, that it. Stop trying to make it an issue with Preston Brown when he's not the issue.
  13. Now I've figured it out. Your just dilusional. You have an issue with Brown who has been the only solid LB we've had in years because you have a hard on for Ragland. It shows
  14. i don't know what team your watching but Brown has been the best Lb we've had for years now. Again, your thinking Ragland was going to replace Brown, he wasn't. He was supposed to work along side him. Now that we only have 1 inside LB it doesn't work. Regardless what you say, saw, see with Ragland, the guys is working with the 3s right now. I wouldn't get your hopes up that he's going to replace Brown. Again, this isn't a knock on Ragland. He's not suited for this defense.
  15. what don't you get??? He was drafted to play alongside Brown as inside linebackers in a 3/4 scheme. He's not suited to be in a 4/3. To think he would make Brown who has been at the very least solid and at times very good. Who's also better suited to be a 4/3 MLB. If you ask me you are dilusonal about Ragland and what he could be.
  16. lol. Yeah. That Must be it
  17. I don't get this. Brown has been solid at the very least. He's better suited to play 4/3 LB than a 3/4 so I expect him to have a bounce back year. He was 2nd in the team in tackles and didn't miss a game last season.
  18. you seem to think I'm dogging on Ragland. I'm not. It's not his fault he's not fit for the 4/3. Just like how Brandon Spikes wasn't suited to be anything besides a run stuffed. It is what it is. Trade the guy while you still have some interest in him. But if you keep trying to put a square peg in a round hole your going to make potential trade partners think your trading him because he's terrible.
  19. im not saying he's bad. He's not suited to play the 4/3. Period. It's not a knock on him. It's more of a knock on Fat Rex for trying to switch this defense over to the 3/4. But I'm sure Ragland is better than Dareus, Kyle Williams, and Mario Williams at LB. Rex thought that was a good idea too.
  20. I didn't read the whole thing. The title and first paragraph is correct tho. Ragland is not suited to be a 4/3 LB and it's shown so far this camp. we should trade him before he starts to look terrible to everyone else in games. While we still have even the slightest of trade value.
  21. Let me know what seats you got when you find out. I have a feeling I know who's seats you bought and you'll be right behind me and about 3-5 seats over. The section is awesome. Plan to stand the whole game. If we're winning and scores are happening in our end zone it will be incredible. If it's on the other side it will still be incredible.
  22. I'm in row 14. I'll be seeing you
  23. I reside in 123. What row and seats do you have?
