Greatest WR you've seen in your lifetime
mrags replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i don't discredit Rice for doing what he did at 40+. I also can't stand any player that sticks around too long. It was clear it was his time to go 2 years before he did. I watched him and he wasn't good those last 2 seasons. They were forcing it to him just because he was Jerry Rice. There's a chance that Megatron could have broke all those records that Rice holds. Of course we will never know. For what it's worth, I'd take Megatron over Rice in their primes any day. -
Does anyone believe GM Beane about preseason game?

Greatest WR you've seen in your lifetime

if you average his receptions, yards, and TDs over his career he passes all of Rices records by about year 16-17. You talk talk all you want about him being beat up. But Johnson never missed more than a few games a season. He was also aver a year younger when he began his career than Rice. So doing it all 3-5 years sooner plus the fact that he's a year younger would mean he would only have to play until 37-38. Not 42 like Rice did. Rice in the meantime missed almost all of 97 due to injury. And his final 2 years were not good I'll give credit for his age. But 400 yards and 800 yards is not very good. -
Here is my issue. Sammy was a definite talent that appeared

no. Hope I never do. I doubt I'd like you outside of here either. -

Every team in the league looses players. To cuts. Trades. And free agency. I'm done arguing with you. I think your an idiot. -

It's extremely tough not to say Moss for me. But I think Megatron might take it. But it's 1 and 1a for me. 6 in 1, half dozen in the other. Dozen matter to me at all. Either we're unstoppable in their primes. I think of Megateon continues to play he breaks some records. -

if I had a dollar for every time a player or coach or GM said one thing. It did another I'd be a millionaire. Just because Sammy made a comment that he wanted to be here doesn't make it a fact. Maybe you need to realize you have a Sammy obsession that you won't let go of. Get over him. He's gone. I know it hurts but your just going to have to deal with living without him. Or you can become a Rams fan -

Maybe you should wait a few games into the actual season to make judgment. And maybe you should realize that sammy wasn't going to resign here no matter what happened. We weren't going to pay him enough and if we tag him he could just sit out. Just like Leveon Bell. -
lol. Boo Booberry pancakes. Where thug tears and dreadlock sweat are the main topping.
-
Just curious. With 73 receptions, more than Sammy has ever had. 804 yards in only 14 games played. Bye, the only 2 games he's missed in his career. If that's bad, I guess Sammy is bad too.
-
I think I'm going to make something in honor of Sammy Boo-Boo Foot Blumpkin. I'm going to make a bunch of raw beef just sitting there doing nothing like he did for about 50% of his games as a Bill. So glad that loser is gone

Welcome to the Bills Jordan Mathews. Don't listen to all the hate from the idiot fans that are all butt hurt about losing Sammy Watkins. The ones that actually know what we're talking about can't wait to see you suit up.

your in the wrong thread. This is for people supporting the trade and think we are better off. The thread where people are jumping off bridges is 2 threads down. Bye -

swapped out for a guy that had more receptions, yards, and TDs with Foles, Sanchez, Bradford, and Wentz as a rookie at QB. Your argument is nil -

hes not better than Mathews as he has many more receptions, more yards, and more TDs in the same span. He can also stay on the field. And he's done all that with wentz as a rookie, Bradford, Sanchez, and Foles at QB -

boldin/Mathews/Jones > Sammy/Woods/Goodwin And that's even if Sammy was healthy -
With all the doom and gloom. With all the OMG it's a full tank. With all the people in this place that want to jump off a bridge. This is the place for everyone that is happy that Sammy is gone. I'll be first. I don't hide it. Never have. I've hated Sammy here since he cost us 2 first rounders. Hated him even more when he called out the Buffalo Fans. Calling us "losers" and saying we have "little jobs". Hated him even more when he kept getting hurt. Not injured, Hurt and refused to play through pain. I for one am extremely happy he's off this team. I am even more happy we got a WR that has outperformed with less support than Sammy has had. Happy we got a 2nd rounder back in the trade. Happy we ended up with a CB to replace Darby that is probably just as good and with the same upside going forward. And of course again with another pick. This isn't a tank. If it was we would have just doubled up on draft picks instead of asking for players in the trades. This is not a tank because we still have McCoy, Taylor, Hughes, Dareus, Wood, Kyle. This is not a tank or we wouldn't have signed Boldin in the first place. Boldin and Mathews both outperformed Sammy in the last 3 seasons. This is a thread for those that think it's hilarious that everyone is in full meltdown mode. This is a thread that enjoys the fact that we not only have players that can and will compete this season, but are finally ready to rock and roll come next years draft. Let's hope the Pegulas are paying a lot of money to scouts this season to figure out what QB we are going to draft next season of Taylor doesn't improve significantly. And chances are, they will draft one anyway.

I honestly feel sorry for Jerry Sullivan

http://buffalonews.com/author/jerry_sullivan/ "Jerry Sullivan grew up in Newport, R.I., though some would dispute the grown-up part. He is a professional skeptic" If you scroll down in that link he does say that the Boldin signing is a good signing.
