  1. all I have to look at is 49 receptions, 780 yards and 6TDs over he entire career. Even average #2 recievers get that much in one season Trust me, if anyone here is dilusional, it's not me.
  2. yet he produced more than Sammy and he's already a hall of gamer in your eyes. You crack me up man.
  3. serious question. How did you feel about Stevie Johnson? Because he had 3 straight seasons of 1,000+ yards. And I don't recall anyone ever saying he was elite. In fact the opposite. I recall everyone always making comment that he wasn't even a #1.
  4. my fault Hokie. This was meant as a reply for 26. I was busy and didn't look at which post I was replying to. I saw the impressive visual that 26 posted and was flustered obviously.
  5. again. You are comparing Sammy with Julio Jones. Most likely the best receiver in the NFL. Period. No even close. If Sammy ever even sniffs his production over their careers I'll gladly buy you a season ticket. You can sit right next to me and gloat every game. Talking about how great Sammy was and how right you were. But you don't take bets. Instead I'll gladly make fun of everyone here for faking in love with a guy that never healthy. And what could have been. It's always what could have been with the players that no one can ever get over.
  6. hes not even on the same level of Amy of those receivers numbers wise. But believe what you want. While we're revisiting the subject later I'd like to add in Mathews plus what we get for the picknwe acquired for Sammy. And Tom Brady was a 6th rounder.
  7. thanks for being the grammar police. SDS, we found someone to add to the moderator team. Who is to say he wouldn't re-sign? I already said I don't care if Mathews re-signs. The fact is you got a 2nd round pick when you wouldn't have had it. You ended up with a WR that has produced more numbers than your beloved Sammy has for this season. It's funny how Sammy has never EVER not had some kind of ailment since being in the Bills. First it was his ribs, then he had leg and foot problems that lasted over a full season. Put your money where your mouth is big shot. Take me up on my bet
  8. did they sim the off-season and see what we got with our 2nd pick also? Thy has a huge bearing on it.
  9. On the other hand they won't miss the guy that missed 8 games last year. 3 games the year before that. And numerous game where he didn't produce at all because he was too hurt to actually do anything on the field. They will also like the fact they have an additional 2nd rounder next draft for a guy that wasn't going to resign here anyway after the season. You'd take Sammy and I'd take Mathews. I'd rather go with actual production than potential only 60% of the time. You have to be able to count on your players. Let's make a bet. Assuming both players play healthy, which I believe both will because they are in contract years. Whoevers player puts up better numbers, the loser has to take the winner out to dinner. Reasonably priced. Not McDonalds, but not Peter Lugers. Somewhere in between. I'll gladly look across the table from you and watch you eat your $50 steak if I'm wrong. If Mathews outperforms Sammy, you return the favor. However, if Watkins gets hurt, again, and you cannot compare, I will not expect my dinner, just a "you were right" would do it.
  10. i won't deny that Sammy has more potential. But that means nothing. The fact is he's consistently been hurt or injured more and there has played less and can be relied on less. Yes, Mathews is a FA at the end of the year. The difference is, we have draft picks in the event that we don't resign either Mathews or Gaines. The Rams and Eagles have absolutely nothing going forward if they cannot resign them. You can mention the franchise tag but that goes for both teams of the trade. I still find it funny that as a fact. If their careers were over tomorrow, Mathews will go out with a better career based on actual, factual statistics. But you and many others want to keep making arguments for Sammy based on future production and potential for that. But that's not a given.
  11. and you can show me factual evidence to deny any of my arguments. You do the work. Your the one that has to convince me remember.
  12. The real question we want an answer to is this before or after the Sammy and Darby trades?
  13. kond of like the facts that Jordan Mathews has produced more in this league over the same period of time as Sammy Watkins? The fact that Sammy would be a FA at the end of the year and you could lose him for nothing? Or the fact that Sammy Watkins has consistently been hurt or injured? Facts are a rough thing. I get it
  14. https://youtu.be/CfW-MPUjC_0
  15. and there's the other reason why I hated him. He sucked. His career year with the team and he had 29 receptions, 431 yards, and 3 TDs. Another reason to hate him and would prefer to have anyone with even a little bit of upside.
  16. except as far as you know this doesn't affect each player. For all you know Sammy was a diva in the locker room and not a team player. For all you know Sammy wanted off this team and made it known. Maybe one of that is true. We don't know. Only the locker room does. With that said, you are speculating based on your opinion. You cannot go by interviews with players because they are still on this team and may have to say publicly different than what they feel. Regardless of how they feel about someone on the field may not be how they feel about them personally. And that may affect what they say about a person. I've had many people I work with that I can't stand them as a person but trust everything they do at work to get a job done. Just like I have some personal friends I work with but don't trust them to do a good job when things need to get done.
  17. i hate the guy because he lied to the Bills, lied to the fans. Originally he was done with track. Then the Olympics come around and he wanted to specifically train for the Olympics. He even missed camp time for it. All while being paid by the Bills. It's not my money. Why should I care right? Wel, I care because, I Too am a Bills fan. I Too want to see them win. I Too want them to be good. It's harder to do that when your paying millions for a player that isn't dedicated to the team. To training. To putting it all out there in the field every day, and week. Instead he was off on his own and training on his own. Instead he was likely playing hesitant so that he did not get injured to hurt his Olympic chances. So I care, and I hated him because he cost us a roster spot for a legitimate WR that wanted to be here. That wanted to out the work in to be on this team and make the team better.
  18. i couldn't tell anything in that video either. And that to me tells me that there was no cavity search. Not on the side of the road. Not while the dash cam was recording everything. People just need to understand that criminals that are breaking the law are not truthful people. It was confirmed she had drugs on her. There's always the possibility the story was fabricated to start some kind of law suit. I highly doubt some cop just decided to start digging inside her Cooch. Im sure of the responses I'm going to get from anti police posters here. So let me just do you a favor. Don't bother to get into an argument with me on this. I'm not replying anymore on the matter.
  19. i can't post any pics because the file is too big. No idea how to change it in my phone
  20. were still looking.
  21. Went but really just to look at hot tubs. It was a whole day spent getting in and out of empty hot tubs. And grabbing some terrible fair food for dinner
  22. considering that we haven't had a playoff caliber team in 17 years I think there is argument to this. But being bad and trying to be bad just to get the best pick in the draft are 2 different things. Creating a team to lose and keeping that losing mentality for a whole season is contagious. Just like all the fans here that assume the wheels are falling off just because we traded a WR they were all in love with. Many, if not the majority have already written the season off as a losing season. Many, if not most are already calling for a "Tank" to get a high draft pick next year.
  23. to even say Glass Goodwin is average us the biggest over exaggeration I've ever heard. Coincidently, I've never understood why anyone has ever liked the guy.
  24. No injuries. Starters play about a half. The new receiving core gets going a little bit. Especially Zay Jones. Tyrod looks solid. Peterman gets the whole 2nd half and looks very good.
  25. Maybe I was being too strong about it. When I meant I wouldn't want them to draft 2. I meant I wouldn't want them to draft 2 with early picks. Give me one in the 1st. Then another no earlier than the 3rd or 4th as a project guy.
