  1. no player in their right mind would state otherwise. Regardless how they actually feel. so despite what almost everyone likes to point to that Sammy has only missed X games, you want to embrace the fact that he has been hurt/injured for more than 50% of his career. Glad you want to admit that. Since that's the main reason why I do not want him on this team and never did. He is too often injured or hurt and that affects his production. End of story.
  2. yeah. I was told to trade in or sell my car before it hit 95k. I didn't and as soon as it hit 100k the trade in value plummeted.
  3. i was typing too fast for me to realize what I did. Arguably was what I meant to say. I'll give you Miami as he had a really good game. Watkins was definitely a player in that game.
  4. anyone could see that he was also injured and didn't play in 8 games last year. Of those 8 games he did play we had a 2-6 record. In those games he also had terrible outings. In his best game, 7 receptions for 154 yards and a TD we lost to the Dolphins. In his 2nd best game he had 3 catches for 80 yards. Any other game and his best outing was 4 receptions for 54 yards and also a TD, again we lost, to the Steelers. So our record was actually better without Sammy in the lineup. It's almost inarguable that Tyrods best game last year was against the jets in week 2 when he threw for 18 of 30, 297 yards and 3 TDs in which Sammy only accounted for 1 catch for 4 yards. Or maybe we can talk about his next best game against the Seahawks where he was 27 of 38 for 289 with 1 TD where Sammy was at home on the couch. It doesn't matter really because anyone can finds stats to probe their point. No one really knows how Taylor feels about Sammy or what kind of repor they had. No one here can actually say for certain that Sammy was a good teammate and they all wished he was back. Sure, we can all point to player interviews but no player will openly bash another player they played with. It just doesn't happen. Just like how Bill Belicheck will always call his opponent a really tough team and a tough game regardless if they win by 2 or 50. The only facts are that obviously the coaches and GM on the team saw him as expendable for a guy that everyone wants to bash even though he has produced more over the same period of time. Regardless, those that say Sammy could have been more had he been healthy, is not only ridiculous, it is another shot at the guy for not being able to push through injuries and play. It's obvious that Sammys doctors as team doctors thought he could play in week 1 and 2. Had it been any different they wouldn't have put him out there. It is ridiculous to say he could have had more yards or receptions because nobody knows for sure what happens. Maybe if Mathews didn't have 4 different QBs in 3 years (Sanchez, Foles, Bradford (before he became good), and Wentz (as a rookie) he could have produced even more. It's a vicious cycle that stats can prove anything from either side and the only thing that matters is who is actually on this team now and who plays 3k miles away.
  5. i worked with the owner for a few years. Awesome guy. Awesome food. Hope he continues to do well. And FYI, I dont believe talking about a replacement at WR a waste. Fact is we traded for a WR that has produced more in the same amount of time in the league as Sammy. Fact is he has been hurt and missed less games. I will give you the fact that if Sammy plays on every game his stats are likely more but the fact is still that Sammy does and has missed games. And Mathews is on this roster and Sammy is not. My other issue is we can continue to talk about Gaining a true #1 WR going forward it we do not have to keep bringing Sammy up when doing it. It's not even like the guy was here very long. 3 years and that's it. It's time to move on. something like that
  6. speaking of. If you haven't gone to Ru's Pierogi, go now.
  7. therws multiple reasons I don't like the guy. That was only one of them. It's also not an opinion it is a fact from someone that was on the team at the time. You can believe your OPINION as much as you like. See above as to why I was here talking about Watkins. I a tuay came here to hear some insight on a player that was actually ON the team. I have no outrage for you at all. I think your opinion is silly at best. Calling 900 yards and less than 10 TDs a best offensive weapon is comical though. Any real team would laugh at that output out of their "best offensive weapon". Apparently everyone here forgets about Shady when talking about our best offensive weapon. You can continue what you want. I'm arguing with you and others about why you are bothering to obsess over this player who's no longer here. It won't bring him back and it won't change what he is. Time will tell and we will see what he really is. I'm comfortable with my opinion
  8. im not mad at all. I'm just stating actual facts here. He's. No longer on the team. Why keep obsessing about it. Me on the other hand, I'm obsessing over what is actually still here. Fans that just love to get down and lick the sack of a player that did nothing for us over 3 years besides a few cool catches and a heaping handful of TDs. And the reason why I came to this thread btw was to hope to see some info as to why Gaines was rated so highly this preseason since he was part of the trade. Go back to eating Peirogi
  9. you say this as if your stats prove that Sammy and Tyrod were good. Or better together. What's the opponents win/loss breakdown, how about others that were injured in the same games. How about who were the opponents injuries. Again, stats can prove anything you want. The fact is we weren't a good team with or without him. the fact is Sammy missed at games due to being hurt. He missed just as much when he was actually on the field but unable to produce a single thing when being used "as a decoy". The fact remains that he is no longer on this team and the fact that we are still obsessed by it is a joke. He is no longer here. If people miss him so much they can buy a Rams jersey and start cheering for the Rams. People need to get a life.
  10. winning is the only stat that matters. How did we do? That's right, not good.
  11. stats can be found to prove anyone's point either way you look at it. I'm not going to go on and look everything up. But I'm pretty sure we didn't do squat with Tyrod and we sure didn't do anything with EJ. At the end of the day a WR that couldn't stay on the field didn't get us to more than 8 wins a season with either of those QBs.
  12. hearing all these arguments is like hearing about how all we needed to do was get CJ in space all over again
  13. Sammy was great for EJ Manuel and Tyrod Taylor.
  14. Since I was being called out for being a dick I decided to go out of my way and look up the factual info to prove my point. https://www.google.com/amp/s/theydiffer.com/difference-between-audi-a4-and-s4/amp/ In case you are too lazy to look for the actual facts. "Differences in the performance The 2015 Audi A4 has the 2.0L Turbocharged Gas Inline-4 under its hood. The motor produces 220 hp at 6,400 rpm and 258 foot-pounds of torque at 4,800 rpm. The 2015 Audi S4s base motor, on the other hand, is the 3.0L Supercharged Gas V-6, which provides 330 hp at 6,400 rpm and 325 foot-pounds of torque at 4,800 rpm. A transmission in the 2015 Audi A4 is an eight-speed automatic (with a sport shift mode); there is an optional six-speed automatic transmission. The 2015 Audi S4, on the other hand, has a six-speed manual transmission or, optionally, the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission with paddle shifters." "The Audi A4 has a weaker acceleration than the Audi S4. The A4 (2.0 TFSI, 6-speed manual) accelerates 0 to 60 mph in about 6.9 seconds, while the S4 makes 0 to 60 mph in about 4.9 seconds. The Audi S4 is a noisier car between the two, also. Because of its powerful motor, it produces a range of snarling sounds while accelerating." The least about of HP the S4 has had since 03-05 is 339BPH. At the same time, the most HP the 07 A4 had was 200. Per edmunds https://www.edmunds.com/audi/a4/2007/sedan/st-100761276/features-specs/ you have me at a loss since I don't know who you are. But you can look at the specifics of my facts. And then you can just dream all you want about keeping up with S4s.
  15. i just don't like Japanese cars. Just my personal opinion
  16. depending on the year of S4 or RS4. At the very least, the HP upgrade is 95hp. So yeah, he did say 100hp. he said he can keep up with S4s which are far superior to an A4. yeah. Maybe you should try knowing what an S4s HP is compared to an A4 Now I don't feel bad about being a DICK at all. Your just an idiot
  17. not to be a dick. But that sounds incredibly false. Maybe the driver of the S4 didn't know how to shift properly. I would love to know how your coming up with over 100hp for just a few hundred bucks. If you said you added a turbo or SC I'd believe it.
  18. although I disagree with the buying of Japanese cars. I agree 100% with expense to maintain. I owned a 2006 Mercedes C230 Sport. It had very low miles on it when I bought it used. Of course Mercedes urged me against taking it anywhere else for service. I happen to know a Master Tech at another dealership and he does all my work personally. If it was not for him, i would have been beyond broke paying for my Benz once I passed 90k miles. To the OP. How many miles are on the car? How much did you pay for it?
  19. thats because we traded away everyone's favorite, constantly injured receiver. And a DB that everyone was really high on after his rookie year but forgot how much they disliked him after being burned last year quite often. People are idiots. Don't let it bother you.
  20. you can use mine brother
  21. It'll be be great until things start to real down.
  22. well done. Well done my friend.
  23. you didn't IB67. We just have a large influx of "amazing posters" here that must not have known you were cool. Hope all is well in Green Bay
