RIP Display your blue porch lighting and blue pumpkins to show your support. Blue pumpkins can be purchased at the Great Pumpkin Farm and proceeds will go to the family of Officer Lehner.

Westside, Keep on keepin on brother. I've been there. Not to your extent. I can't even imagine honestly. But I've been depressed before. There is no end all cute to it in my opinion. You can't just go talk to someone and automatically feel better. They can give you drugs to help but I personally don't believe in that because I feel it's fake. When I was depressed I could never see that I was so bad. I don't think I actually was that bad. It's all inside. You can only truly beat it when you get passed it yourself. It is easier said than done but you really have to work to get over it. The best thing I can say is take other advice that I saw. Make yourself busy. Start new hobbies. Find yourself and what makes you happy. Always be moving and give yourself less time to think about how depressed you think you are. And always try and look at the good side and funny side of things. I say that talking to someone won't be a true fix, but friends are always there to be leaned on. If it ever gets bad you have to use them as a crutch. A true friend will help you get your mind off it and keep you busy. If you ever need to talk or anything brother, don't hesitate to PM me. Life's a garden.... dig it

Why are MNF ratings low this season?
mrags replied to CodeMonkey's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
im just saying that you are missing my point. Forget about the anthem in general. I don't know what kind of business you own. But it's about rules of the business. It is written in the NFL rules that players will be ok the sidelines for the anthem and will be facing the flag and should be standing with their helmet under their arm. It's a rule. Simple as that. In regards to players kneeling, side, it's their right to do so. I still think they are still scumbags for doing it just because they don't like what our POTUS has said (ironically expressing his own right to free speach). And that's my prerogative to feel that way because that's my right. Whatever. We can't even begin to argue this because whatever business you own doesn't compare to the NFL. and I get it that you don't care. But think of the people with friends or family members that lost loved ones serving this country. You may not care, but the mother or wife or husband, or child that lost a husband, wife, son, or father care very much. And honestly, in my opinion I find it disgusting that people expressing their right to do anything off the blood of veterans shouldn't be allowed to protest against them. You may not think it's about them, or the flag, or the song, or the law enforcement that keeps so many people safe every day. But those that are affected by it probably don't see it that way. I'm actually done here. If you want to continue to have conversations about it all you can PM me. no. It's not thank you -

no. I made a point that I couldn't, or anyone else couldn't just go into work and not protest against something that their company had rules against. You have stated that you have no problem with your employees kneeling and protesting. That's your prerogative. But that's not my point my at all. My point was most people in all walks of life can't just do whatever they feel like with no consequences. -

the difference is, your business isn't in the national media. Your business doesn't play the national anthem and state in the rules that your employees must be present for the anthem and standing, facing the flag when it's played. Apples to oranges. I don't know what kind of business you own. But most business don't even come close to the media monster of the NFL. -

Why are MNF ratings low this season?
mrags replied to CodeMonkey's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
you are absolutely correct about that. In fact, I made a pretty long FB post about it after all the crap started this season regarding the kneeling. I value others opinions to do it, but then again, I have the same right to call that person a scumbag for it. It shows a lack of respect for the people that have sacrificed their lives for that right. But at the end of the day, football is not politics. It is not something where people should be making political "stances". It's a time to forget all that crap as fans of the sport. And for the players, it is their job. I couldn't go into my work place and outright refuse to do what my superiors ask of me. There's no reason why these players should get held to any other standard. Now that I'm done, I'm assuming this will be moved to PPP. Your all welcome. -

well, I've been going to games since 1988 or before that I can remember and since then, I've never not seen a team out on the field for the national anthem. -

which makes it more believable that fans are tuning out because they don't care to watch these millionaire babies whining about being treated unfairly. And that still doesn't take away from the fact that the news article is incorrect and players have been in the sidelines for the anthem for a long time now. Since I now know why political side of the fence you stand on. I can just stop arguing with you now. Because you are way too stupid, arrogant, and ignorant to ever believe that someone else can be right. Good day -

i didn't need to read it because I've seen all the false reports since all this crap started. I've been going to games for almost 30 years. They've been playing the anthem and they've been on the field for it. Simple as that. They come out of the tunnel. Run around and get rowdy. Then the anthem plays. Then the coin toss. Then they kickoff. Has been that way as far as I can remember. But if you don't go to games and you watch in TV I can see why. Because before all this crap started, the only time they ever showed the anthem in tv was in a big game like the SB or when they trotted everyone out to hold up the huge American flags across the field. But if you want to keep thinking CNN news is gospel, by all means, don't let me ruin your ignorance. -

this is all false. Did you not watch Super Bowl 25 and all the Bills standing on the sidelines. Images of hundreds and hundreds of people crying as Whitney Houston sang the best version of the National Anthem ever? How about every Super Bowl before that or after? You don't go to many games do you? Because I've had season tickets since 2006 and I've been going to games since the late 80s and I can say that I have ALWAYS seen them play the anthem and be on the sidelines for it. -

in the same post as saying you think a lot of games are being tuned out because of some terrible matchups, you actually contradict yourself in saying that every team should get a Monday night game. If that wasn't the dumbest thing I've ever heard of I have no idea what it. There are plenty of teams that don't deserve to be on prime time. The only reason why they would be is because it's a division game and the NFL sometimes throws bad teams and bad towns a bone. Other than that, it's not happening. -
TBD Parking at Hammer’s Lot, Tampa game
mrags replied to mead107's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
honestly, it will probably be 11 at the earliest. And I don't know yet if I'll be able to stay after the game long or if I'll have to come right home. If that's the case I'll have to park on the other side of Abbott and Southwestern so I can get out easily. If I can stay after the game do you want me to PM you to let you know ? -

they just need to get him into space. He has enough talent to be the MVP. Well, he'd have to beat out Sammy first.
