  1. They probably didn’t show up because we aren’t building a dome.
  2. You do realize that was over 3 days worth. It’s not like they had 700k every day. You have almost 80k show up to the Stadium on a regular Sunday throughout the season and that’s basically just for the Bills. You could easily double that when you throw in every single NFL team and their rabid fan bases in there. Im not saying they would break that record, im simply saying 700k is not an accurate number based off the argument your making. 1million showed up in Niagara Falls I believe and NF isn’t as big as Buffalo. I don’t know for sure how crazy it was, I was out of town. But I know many people that work in law enforcement and there were definitely assumptions that 1m+ would be in the surrounding areas. if they were to do a draft in Buffalo it would likely be down near the Harbor. Only logical place for it. Rail goes right there, highway entrances very nearby. Open space for it. Near the water. Near Canada. Only place I could see that might be more doable is Niagara Square. Unless they were to hold it right at the new/old stadium in OP. There’s plenty of space but no amenities near by. Maybe they do it in place of the old Ralph after it’s torn down. Or maybe they do it in either stadium. Idk. Definitely possible though.
  3. I just saw a bunch of renderings for it on FB. They did it like Gillette. Built a whole city center around it. Hotels, shopping, restaurants. You know, like how we should have built ours. Oh well
  4. Doesn’t signing Samuel take away from the comp pick? What about Hollins? Or Edward’s?
  5. I predict that even though they will be even older, they’ll still be faster than Coleman
  6. He probably made a comment that McAfee is faster than Coleman
  7. That guys faster than Keon Coleman. Of course we should sign him
  8. While I like this kid as a person, and his attitude, I didn’t get “charisma” out of that interview at all. Just a happy and thankful kid. I really hope he does well. He’s likable.
  9. That kid is faster than Keon Coleman. Of course we should bring him in for a look
  10. I saw that too and wasn’t going to mention anything. Yes I do him him a lot of credit for being straight down the yard line, but when it came to turning upfield along the sideline, and keeping himself in the field of play, he was terrible. Hopefully it was a miscommunication on where he thought he was supposed to turn up field. Idk.
  11. Couldn’t have said it any better myself. And anyone that disagrees is delusional imo.
  12. Same. Been to Florida a bunch in the past few years. Orlando 3x, Ft Lauderdale 2x, St Pete, Miami, up and down the coast from Daytona to Miami a few times. We’re already booked for a few days in Destin in sept/oct. been systematically checking out where we might want to retire. I’ve heard great things about the panhandle. And someone that loves the waters of the Caribbean, that might be the best we’re going to find that’s reasonably priced, and with the right amenities. You can’t fool me I live in NY. I deal with the biggest idiots on the planet every day. Can’t scare me with idiots in Florida. after all, if I’m on the beach and in the water I don’t care.
  13. You can keep making things up so us northerners don’t retire down there. But we’re not listening
  14. No need to argue with this guy. He’ll always back the GM and HC and their decisions because he’s a Bills Homer. He will go down with the sinking ship that is McBeane Yes. The same people that are fans of these moves are the same people that thought Harty was all the sudden going to be some phenom with Allen throwing him the ball. What a joke that was. There wasn’t a lot, but there were definitely people that knew this wouldn’t be successful.
  15. I think the plan is to have him learn for the year, maybe even at LG (doubtful) or take over if any injuries arise. But I do believe he will be given a chance and if he knocks it out of the park he stays there. And I think this is definitely possible.
  16. Again. The argument wasn’t about who is better. Or who will be better. The argument is about the fact that 9ft is a hell of a lot of distance in a span of 40 yards. It is a fact.
  17. Torrence was a 2nd rd pick and was immediately seen as an upgrade to what we had at the position. The Bills are saying they are going with McGovern at C. While I hope they are going the Torrence route as I want Van-Pran in there as quickly as possible, for the time being I’m going to believe that McD will do what he has said he’ll do and start McGovern.
  18. The argument wasn’t who was better. I could have picked another pic not showing the best WR to be the best was also the slowest. The argument was the fact that 3yards is a hell of a lot when we’re talking about a WR being open.
  19. With the exception of getting one of the first 3-4 guys they absolutely needed to draft 2 WRs in this draft. Only getting 1 is them acting like awe wasn’t a need. It absolutely was. And not just 1 spot. They failed to address it. I don’t think for a minute they wanted Aiyuk or they would have had him. SF was practically dangling him out there. I don’t think the argument should be made that getting a 4th rd wr made this and draft. I’m simply saying we needed to come away with 2 today and didn’t. Then they signed like 3 of them in UDFA which tells me they thought there was a need for it. And decided to not take a WR late instead going for some OL and DL help that won’t have a chance at making the team this year.
  20. Yeah it won’t. Yeah I guess I’m just no match for your wits and whatever point you’re trying to make. I’ll just have to get on with my life knowing that you got the better of me.
  21. Why would you assume that? After Davis was a 4th rounder. After Shakir was a 5th rounder. so if Shakir helps make this WR group a decent to good group, why couldn’t a flier on a 4th or 5th round guy like McMillain, or Rice, or Baker have done the same? And if you want to argue that they wouldn’t be much help this year anyway, my reply would be we need to plan for the future anyway. It took both Davis and Shakir to get a year or 2 under their belts to really help with production.
  22. Right. If they would have drafted another one (Franklin joking aside) I would have felt a lot better. There were plenty of opportunities to get a Franklin, Baker, Rice, Wilson, McMillian, etc. Someone, anyone that might have been a help. Instead they apparently believe Hollins, Hamler, Shorter are going to round out the top 6, and that’s just terrible. You had a need for a WR when Davis left, even before trading Diggs. They created another hole. The hole is their number 1 target, and replaced it with a guy that’s barely had a year over 800 yards and 3 TDs, and a rookie that can’t separate, and was like you said, the 8th best WR in many people’s boards. there was legit nobody in the first 10 WRs I didn’t want less than this kid. Really hope I’m wrong and he becomes great. But I definitely have my doubts.
  23. This. I remember when I used to fall for their crap too. Now it’s just the same old crap every year. While I do like some of the picks in this draft, I can’t help but feel like we are definitely rebuilding. Just sucks we’re dealing with this in the middle of having the best player that will ever wear a bills uniform. Such a waste
