  1. I’m sure it sucks to take their millions of dollars in signing bonuses and guaranteed money to sit at home
  2. Average field position doesn’t mean anything tho for this argument. They have had multiple drives started against them inside their own zone due to interceptions. What’s to say they didn’t stop a few here and there but give up more yards on the short drives. Either way. It means nothing. We’ve given up the 8th most points in the league and we are 3-7. So how has the “number 1” defense in the league panned out for us? ive always said this... stats are for suckers. Wins are all that matter. We aren’t doing good there. If you really try hard enough you can find stats to prove any argument you are trying prove.
  3. I don’t even have the slightest clue what you are talking about
  4. Pretty much this. It’s easy to give only give up small amounts of yards when you have like 10 picks/fumbles in your own end zone.
  5. Yeah. It’s almost like we don’t have a historically bad offense and are 3-7.
  6. I’ve seen someone catch one and clips it’s feet off with nail clippers so it couldn’t get away. He then made it his pet.
  7. I’ve known for Fergie for a lot of years now. If he was “spamming” everyone, I can assure you; this time would be the first. At the last home game he and I were actually talking about Peterman and I can account for his faith in Peterman. He’s wanted him in since day one after he was drafted.
  8. I would like to give his wife a warm reception
  9. I don’t remember Foster catching any ball at all earlier in the season. Only missed balls by either Allen underthrowing him, or Foster not being able to locate or dropping the ball. What sucks is he had a sure TD and couldn’t stay in bounds.
  10. Might have earlier in the year if Foster could track and catch the ball and if Allen could throw it without being underthrown by about 8 yards
  11. There’s something to be said for this too. If the rest of the offense looks competent again against the jags with Barkley, that would make 3 solid QBs performances out of Barkley and Anderson. With Peterman and Allen struggling. It shows that they aren’t ready or are just plain bad. Hopefully Allen just isn’t ready and Peterman is just that bad. Either way, if the offense looks solid again under Barkley, you need to stay with him. Gives Allen more to look at as well. Gives him an idea of what a competent offense looks like. Instead of looking like the worst in the league. Not learning anything. And already getting down on his play even though he hasn’t taken the field in weeks. You can just tell and feel the difference like today makes. Before today we were not talking about winning another game all year. Now all the sudden we put up over 200 passing with 2 TDs and almost 200 rushing with multiple TDs. The defense was able to tee off on the Jets and do what they do. Everyone plays better. And that would help Allen as well when he actually gets in there.
  12. That’s exactly what I posted just before this post. I’m good either barkley or even Anderson starting the rest of the way unless and until they either crap the bed. Or just get so far ahead like today and Allen can come in for the 4th Q and mop up to get some reps
  13. I cannot argue with this however. I’m really good either way. But at this point now, I just assume bringing him along more slowly and let him learn a few more things
  14. I’m Voting Barkley. But that’s only until he faulters. If he starts looking like Peterman, then kick Allen or Anderson into the game. They now finally have the opportunity to do what they started out hoping for and that’s Allen learning this season. If he was healthy today I would have liked to see him in there in the 4th Q to get some reps. So eother were we’re winning big and he gets in and plays, or Barkley or Anderson looks so terrible you have to pull them. In that case were down big and Allen should play then too. But in no way should he play when there’s a meaningful down to him. Get in there and get reps. Learn the game and that’s it.
  15. Damn. I was hoping everyone here would pitch in and get me a one way tix to jamaica or something
  16. Thank you. Youve added another wrinkle in the Allen argument I forgot about. It’s not just his bad accuracy, and his underthrown balls. It’s his hesitation when a wr is streaking down the sideline and he doesn’t pull the trigger or pulls it too late. By then he can’t step up into his throw, and....it’s thrown short. I think well see Teller secure the LG spot before the end of the year. No idea why they waited so long to start him honestly. But he’s looked pretty good so far. So going into the offseason we’ll need at least 2 more quality starters in the OL. Maybe pick up a G in fA, and then the best OT in the draft in round 1. I dont think the C ply has been good at all but with 2 solid Gs next to the spot I think either one of our guys now would be fine. Similar to Wood imo. He wasn’t that good honestly. Always looked much better with better play alongside him. Back when Levitre was here, and when incognito stepped it up.
  17. I won’t disagree with your assessment. I also believe his ceiling is high. But his deep balls so far have been underthrown and underwhelming. Hopefully you are right and the footwork needs help. Hopefully it’s the lack of protection. I won’t disputes that either has been good. The only fact that does remain however, is that he has thrown some deep passes and almost all of them have been underthrown. To the point that the WRs have to stop and come back to make plays on the ball.
  18. No new posts about Benjamin. Please god no.
  19. I assumed you’d be watching his ANAL-ASIS.
  20. Actually I wasn’t a fan of Mahomes. I was a fan of Allen. I don’t think Mahomes would be any good on this team because our team and coaching staff is terrible. I was an Allen ballsucker just like you are now. But I’ve learned. He has underthrown almost every deep pass he’s thrown all year. When he learns how to throw the deep ball without his WRs having not stop and come back for the ball, you can come talk to me. Or you can just keep thinking you know what you are talking about. Either way, I don’t give a damn. He isn’t going to be any good under this coaching staff and they will continue to have a job going forward and continue ruining Allen going forward.
  21. When he can regularly get the deep ball downfield without the WRs having to stop and come back for it... come talk to me.
