2019 NFL Draft Running Back Prospect Primer
mrags replied to blacklabel's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That may be true, but you can usually go back in the drafts and pick out first round RBs being dominant. 2018: Barkley Michel 2017: Fournette McCaffrey 2016: Elliott Henry (early 2nd) 2015: Gurley Gordon That’s 8 in the last 4 years that are not only good but dominant as far as nfl standards. Complete offense changers. Michel is a bit of a stretch, but time will tell, once Brady hangs up hits cleats. -

Everything you said can be said about a DLmen in the 3rd or 4th too. Kyle Williams was a 5th rounder. Just saying. -

2019 NFL Draft Running Back Prospect Primer

All 6 of the OLmen we picked up in FA are better than anyone we had last year besides Dawkins. And he’s Only better than maybe 4 of them. I don’t deny all that. But if we go out there with 2RBs with AARP cards, we might as well assume we have zero running game all year. -

I just think that maybe McBeane give Daboll a toy to play with and help his QB. In a perfect world, they would give him his very own Gronk in Hockenson. Then trade back into the mid to late 20s and draft Jacobs. That Would pretty much solidify our offense and could go defense for the rest of the draft. It would also solidify our future replacement for Shady. I get the knock on taking a RB that high. But if you get a Barkley, Fournette, Gurley, Elliot type of player it completely changes the way the game can be played. It would give Josh so much more room to work with. Between that and his new OL. I think we would be a very dangerous team. -
That’s just mean

I was definitely angrier than this as a baby.

I saw a mock that has him going as late as the kid 2nd round to the eagles. It was the first rb off the board. If that’s the case I’m taking this kid in the 2nd. Looks really good. Haven’t gotten into Damien Harris’ tapes yet but also looks good. As well as Henderson. -

Watching vids on him now. Looks awesome. Fast. Shifty. Good pass catcher. Very powerful. The kid kid looks like he can do it all. You think he’s the clear cut #1 back in the draft? Is he worth a pick at 9? Would we need to take him there? Or possible with a trade down to the teens or early 20s is he still available? -

Decided to look into this a little more. Now that we may actually have our starting OL before the draft even kicks off, do we take a RB early??? are any of these guys the next Barkley or Elliot? Are any of these guys worthy of the 9th pick overall? What if we trade down but still take the first RB off the board? Who is the best of the class? Is there a clear cut number 1 RB coming out? Ive been watching some videos and really like Montgomery from Iowa State. What say you? -

I just think people are forgetting about him. He might be the best T on the team period. I get that they think Ty will be the starting RT. But it’s just odd that I constantly see people’s posts about the upgraded line and listing all the FAs aquired but fail to even list Waddle. Like all of Sammy Watkins expectations after his 13 boo boos? -

I haven’t read every post in this thread but I’ve read much of it. This post is good but also reminds me that way too many people are forgetting about Waddle. Not sure why I’ve seen so little about him here. -

Careful there. Stevie Johnson put up better numbers for 3 straight years and people here thought he was trash and couldn’t get rid of him quick enough. -

That doesn’t take away from the fact that Pegula owns those spaces and will profit from them eventually. My guess is he will start raking in much more cash when he builds a new stadium downtown. -

That’s funny. I was thinking about how much more production he could have had if Brokerod wasn’t throwing him the ball his rookie season. He he had a pretty solid 2nd season considering he played with 4 QBs. One of them was the worst to ever suit up and another was a rookie who was learning. -

If you don’t think the development of downtown Buffalo has increased significantly since the Pegulas came to town. If you don’t think they have their hands in more bowls than you listed. If you don’t think their decisions dominate downtown Buffalo. If you don’t think owning multiple sports teams, the domination of the canalside area, the cobblestone district and others is pretty much dominating Downtown Buffalo. I have a bridge to sell you. -

You apparently didn’t understand my story about the speakeasy above the one Brewery that apparently nobody knew Pegula had ties to. He’s got a lot more in place down there than you know about. -

The amount of jobs already created are sick. Just last week I went on a limo bus brewery crawl. We went to one brewery downtown near the arena that the Pegulas either owned or had a stake in (don’t remember which one). It was massively huge. Then we got a private tour of the hidden speakeasy upstairs that Terry wanted done. It was one of the coolest things I’ve seen in downtown Buffalo. Just pointing out that the Pegulas have their hand in everything down there now. Nothing gets done without their say so. And much of it they control. A new stadium downtown continues their takeover of the area. With the help of New Era, Jacobs, and anyone else trying to profit from everything, they will fully find the new stadium that will most likely surpass 1B. -

It’s not just the NFL that wants the stadium downtown. The Pegulas want it downtown. If people don’t see the monopoly they are creating for themselves downtown, they don’t have their eyes open. They are in the process of controlling everything in downtown Buffalo. The Arena. Hotels. Bars. Restaurants. Breweries. The list goes on and on. A stadium downtown with shopping and more restaurants just makes them more money. More people stay at their hotels and eat at their restaurants, drink in their bars, shop in their stores, and watch games of their teams. Spending weeks worth of paychecks coming from out of town. -
I won’t care who we start against. 19-0 anyway. But u can tell you who it’ll be. Both the Bill and the Browns made the 2 biggest splashes in FA this year. I fully expect that to happen on either Sunday or Monday night

When my 16 year old pup went a year and a half ago I made sure I was not only there, it held her in my arms when it was time. My wife was there in front of us. So not only was I holding her to make her feel safe, she was looking at my wife as she went. It was by far the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do in my life. And to this day I don’t regret it. We loved her so much, we wanted her to feel loved and as safe as she could be when the time came. I think she appreciated it. Honestly, she might not have even known we were there, but I felt like I owed it to her to be with her. I wouldn’t have had it any other way. But I did cry for days after.

Statistically, he deserves it much more than Reed does. Not to mention Reed was a serious POS off the field.

When I lived in Vegas he used to come into my Buffalo Wild Wings. Just so happened that one of the times I had an official NFL ball in the trunk of my car that he gladly signed. He he was always a super cool guy. Very humble, respectful. i wonder how much that ball is worth now
