  1. This I LOVE.... Ferguson. He’ll be gone by the middle of the 3rd. If we get him, our 3rd round pick is the play.
  2. Same. It would be like an anorexic Roscoe Parrish
  3. This I find it hard to believe Harry isn’t on any of these top 5s. Or even Butler for that matter. I guess it all depends on what a team is looking for. But to me, Harry looks like he might be the most complete WR in the early rounds.
  4. I understand all that. My opinion, is that it takes a generational freak for me to want a small school guy early in the draft. Josh Allen was that. But let’s be honest, we don’t know yet and it’ll take a little time. And there were so many people not sold on Josh Allen because of some of those reasons. Im just saying, if it’s me, I’m not drafting a small school guy in the top 10 unless they are a sure fire pick at that spot. Sorry, I just don’t see that in Oliver. I see a guy that played very well against weaker competition.
  5. I was simply stating my general opinion. With a specific guy in mind I was wrong about. I did not like Wentz and honestly, there’s no guarantee he’ll be good. He’s been alright so far, when he’s not hurt. I havent lied lied about my knowledge of college football. I know very little. Don’t follow. I base my opinions off my instincts I did want Allen. And I hope my general opinion is wrong about him. But it let’s be honest, Allen’s arm strength could be legendary in the league. Not just someone that could be good. His ceiling could be incredibly high. I just dont see that with oliver based on the film that I’ve seen
  6. It’s also not even remotely close to the area that I assumed he would be in. If he’s at the Marriot or one of the hotels in Flint, he could walk to Anchor Bar.
  7. No. The old Fuddruckers
  8. I don’t deny any of that all. This guy seems to be a lock for a really good player. I think otherwise. And like I said, I’m sure I’m the minority’s. And I’ll happily eat crow if I’m wrong. But my gut instinct tells me this guy won’t be nearly as good as his draft position shows. If im takin a guy in the top 10, I don’t want a small school guy ever. I want a guy that did it at big schools in college and dominated. A guy that always found a way to produce. One of the reasons I didn’t want Mack either as early as he went. To scary for my taste. Glad I was wrong about Mack. Time will tell about Oliver.
  9. Your right. The combine is meant for just that. But that doesn’t always mean they are going to be monsters in the pros. I’m not going to start going back and looking at workout warriors that never amounted to anything in the league. But I’ll just say there’s more of them, than ones that made it big. My guy is Wilkins. Go watch the tape, he’s constantly double teamed. I’m not saying he will pan out either. Of course you are correct, guys at big schools had better team mates to play with which made it easier to succeed. However, they also went up against guys that are going to be in the nfl, every single game most likely.
  10. My issue is that you’ve seen him against Shlubs that will not be on nfl rosters. Maybe he doesn’t lose a step against NFLers, maybe he does. Again, I think he looks really good. A little small for the position, but very good regardless. It’s all a crapshoot anyway, so go with it I guess. But he’s not my number one.
  11. Well, then yes it does I guess. I’ve always liked the Packers but can’t stand Rodgers so I won’t say that I can’t stand the Packers now, but I enjoy watching Rodgers lose. So therefore, the Packers fall in there. If Rodgers could get injured and then your backup comes in and takes your team to the Super Bowl, I’d be cool with that.
  12. I’m sure he can nurse a couple beers. I’ve only been to that location once. They’ll probably have it on the other option is Buffaloes wild Wings on Niagara Falls Blvd. again, assuming he’ll be saying at the Marriot or near that area, it’ll be about a 5min drive to BWs. Almost guarantee to have the game on. They have like 60tvs throughout the restaurant. Can always ask one of the servers or bartenders to change a channel too. But Wild Wings isn’t gonna give you any nice Buffalo feel/food experience.
  13. No. I like the Packers. It’s a shame really because I cannot stand Rodgers. Hate him with a passion. He’s been such a Whiny brat since draft day, I could never get behind him.
  14. Assuming he’s staying at the Marriot. Or at least in that area. Theres now an Anchor Bar on Maple and Sweet Home Rd.
  15. I get it. I’d also point out that Donald is an exception. Not the rule. Most good DTs in the league are much closer to the 300lb mark or over. Donald just happens to be a freak
  16. I personally think Rodgers is a whining cry baby that makes Brady look like a good kid. So I have no doubt it’s true.
  17. Like I said. I’m sure I’m in the minority. It’s just what I see. He still hasn’t done it against very good competition. Who knows. Maybe he doesn’t lose a step at all, maybe he ends up looking lost out there against starting NFL caliber talent. Wilkins and Burns are my pics. Both play against better competition. Both look the part. But I cannot won this argument because the rest of the football watching world disagrees with me. Time will tell I guess.
  18. To me, he doesn’t look even nearly close to the size of a Donald.
  19. Trade back to the mid teens (Washington) and pick up a 2nd and 4-5th 1st round draft Christian Wilkins DT use some picks to move back into the low 20s. The 2nd rounder from wash, and 4th along with a pick next year. 1st round Draft Brian Burns DE 2nd round draft Harry, AJ Brown, or Butler (in that order) WR 3rd round draft Jaylon Ferguson DE 4th round draft L.J. Scott RB 5th round draft Anthony Williams WR 6th round draft Jacques Patrick RB assuming we’ve dealt any additional picks for the trades. If not, draft the best OL or DB available. Unless you get a shot to draft Tyree Jackson somewhere.
  20. I’ve been watching videos in this kid. Mainly because he is talked about as the best possible option for us at 9. Honestly..... I don’t get all the hype. Yes, the kid is really good. But I think many freak athletes who are really good playing in the conference he plays in would also look really good. I think I keep seeing him listed at 275lbs. That seems a little undersized for a DT in the NFL. I know he’ll be able to bulk up and add weight, but the size worries me for an interior DLinemen. I know I’ll mostly get destroyed for this. But I’d like to hear the arguments for or against him. I know it’s not just me then
  21. You are high. Which is probably why you like the plates from rochester. Because you have to be high or wasted to not puke your face off after eating them.
  22. I take that back. If we’ve still got a 3rd. I want Jaylon Ferguson DE from Louisiana Tech.
  23. I’ve been thinking about it a bit lately. I’ve played around with the draft pick calculator a little. Seems like a move back in the first with Washington to 15 would net us an extra 2nd rounder and a 4-5th. We might have to give up a 5th or so to really make it happen. But the team doing the trade up is the team that overpays. As we found out with Allen last year. With that said. I would live a trade back to 15. Draft Wilkins or Burns. Then package a deal with next years picks if possible to get back into the low 20s and pick the other, Wilkins or Burns. Then in the 2nd round go with Harry, AJ Brown, or Butler (in that order). if we managed to pull that off I think we would have completely fixed the DL and then the WR group this offseason for years to come. If we we still have a 3rd, go with the best TE or OL available (I have no idea who’s good here) but most likely we used that in the trade up scenario to the 1st. Same with the 4th round picks. Most likely used one in the trade but if available I’d go with the best OL available and then L.J. Scott RB out of Michigan State. After that im not sure if we’d have any picks available after our trade scenarios. But I would go with depth picks at either OL or LB. the only player that I’m aware of that I want in the late rounds would be Jacques Patrick, RB Florida St. this kid is a monster at 6’3”, 230+. Has really good speed for his size and actually seems to have good movement for his size as well. If I’m taking a flyer in a late round guy, RB is a good spot and this kid could prove some people wrong.
  24. Any chance Wilkins or Burns are there at 24 and 27?
