Was the Jarvis Landry hit on Aaron Williams dirty?
mrags replied to BrycePaup4ever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just honest. Williams was as much of a punk and dirty player that Landry is anyway. -

Williams should have had his head up on that play. Heres a question for everyone that thinks it was a dirty hit... did you cheer when Brian Campbell murdered RJ Umberger? Because it’s basically the same thing. The only thing different is one of them we were on the hitting side and the other, the side that got creamed. -
Would you trade a 1 for Zeke?
mrags replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not at his projected contract. And because we have a slew of RBs in this roster. But I do believe he’s worth a first round pick. -
A simple emoji doesn’t do this justice. Just awesome.

Good Night / Bad Night - Pre-season Game 2
mrags replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’ll stick to it. Unless Kroft isn’t close to ready, Smith isn’t on this team. We’ll find out soon enough. I’ll stick to my opinion for now. Like I said, we’ll find out soon enough. -

They signed Fisher but also signed Kroft, and drafted 2 in Sweeney and Knox. Sweeney is light years ahead of what they thought he would be at this point. He won’t be here. If he is, the only way that’s possible is that Krofts injury is far worse than we imagined. And Croom is back now too. They love Croom too He won’t be here. Etch it in stone. Nothing good? -

Lee smith is not making the team. Other than the topic of how He’s helping train Sweeney and Knox at the expense of making himself indispensable, I haven’t heard his name all summer. He won’t be here. -
I’ve seen them, just like Jerry Sullivan flip and become the biggest fans after just a few games. You’d think someone pulled their brains out and reprogrammed them to be the biggest homers ever.

I find schoop and bulldog so hysterical. For the last year. Maybe more. They have joked about. Laughed at. Hung up on people that call in talking about RB. The position in the nfl doesn’t matter anymore according to them. ALL DAY LONG, yesterday, all they talked about is Wade and that he needs a shot against better competition. He should be played like all game this week against Detroit. All that. Nothing but WAde talk all day from them. So comical.

Why Was Jim Kelly “QB Bills” in Tecmo Super Bowl?
mrags replied to Phil The Thrill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Who was the DC for the Giants then? I forget Well. I haven’t played the last 2. The Antonio Brown was was terrible. I sold it back to gamestop about a week after I bought it. Decided not to play this one either. -

Sean Payton too I believe Bruce was good. I had the most sacks I ever had with Bruce. But no team ever came close to the 49ers defense. Allowing less than 1,000 yards for the entire season is insane. I don’t remember how much less but at 1,000 yards it comes out to less than 63 yards a game. -

That too. I remember as a kid I started and finished seasons with every single team. White/typed up final stats and everything. A few things I remember with certain teams. Raiders- I finished with over 3,000 yards without Bo and another 2,000 yards with Allen. Bills- I had over 70-80 sacks with Bruce 49ers- I had ridiculous passing numbers with Montana. Receiving numbers with Rice. And my greatest feat, I finished the season with allowing less than 1,000 yards total offense with my defense. For the whole season. -

I admit I haven’t kept up on krofts injury but I expect him to be back with the team come roster cut down day. -
The easy answer is that some people are not that smart to realize that just because you get beat once, or even a few times that you're not terrible. Some people fail to realize that this league has almost 1,700 players in it and forget that other players can be really good too. Or some people just have expectations that a player on their team has to be the best ever no matter what in order to be effective. This line is lightyears ahead of where they were last year. And that’s without Morse right now. Relax people, everything will be fine.

The 49ers were by far the best team they had Montana, Rice, Taylor, Craig, And on defense they had Ronnie Lott. Lott was what we called the “touch tackle defense”. Most times playing the game, when tackling you got locked up with a defender and whoever lashed the buttons the fastest won the battle. Lott was a super cheat. All you had to do was touch the player and they were instantly tackled. -
What do you do if you are Cowboys GM?
mrags replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sign zeke to the highest RB salary in history (won’t be that much). Trade zeke if I can or keep him for the year and let him walk. Not even worth the franchise tag. I might do it just cause other people are stupid and someone might want to trade for him and then I get multiple picks. Cooper isn’t that good and he’s expendable. Same thing as Dak. Offer him decent money but no where near what he’s asking. If he doesn’t like it... there’s the door
