How’s everyone doing? I can’t make up my kind on anything. I’ve got like four lvl 5 to lvl 8 warriors. Started with a pve human. Changed to an orc on PvP, didn’t like the orc and went with a troll. And just finally rerolled a Tauren tonight. Level 6 now. I think I’m keeping this one

That I admit I do not know. Only assuming the salary would follow just like a trade of a player. Either way, if a player is making 500k a year on the PS, it will deter another team from signing him.

You are right. But I believe the player himself has a say in it all. Obviously the majority of the time the player will agree to be pulled up to another teams 53. But if they are getting paid much more already why would they? Also, I believe the team picking said player off the practice squad would have to assume the salary. And a PS player making a half million a year would be a deterrent.

Not that we can prove it. But you could put the Pats up against any other football team on the planet outside the US and it wouldn’t be a contest.

Not if you are trying to keep the PS player for being picked off your Practice team. The team picking him up would have to assume the salary.

So so in theory, the PS could count against the cap of we’re talking about paying a PS player a ton of money. But the likelihood of that happening doesn’t seem realistic.

I will admit that I was agreeing with someone who claimed they were actually on a PS in the NFL. Maybe they are full of it. Maybe they were mistaken. Either way, I was going along with someone who had first hand knowledge of it, not some reporter. Because most of the reporters were wrong about Wade and what could happen to his 11th PS roster spot as well. Beane confirmed it yesterday that he could not be taken by any other team. He would be on our PS no matter what until the spring.

100% every time I’m not sure it’s like turning on the sprinklers but at the very end of A Few Good Men when Harold Dawson is walking out and LT Kaffee tells him he doesn’t need to wear a patch on his arm to have honor and then Dawson salutes him. That part of that movie is pretty darn good. Not sad, but full of good feels. The ending in general is just awesome. DBilz just said he was actually in an NFL Teams practice squad and did not count against the cap. I think we should take his word for it vs some eagles fan site pulling info from wherever. Imo I believe you are both right. I think the PS does count against the cap technically but from a different pool of funds that’s built in. Idk. Either way, I’ve never heard of a team being cash strapped and couldn’t sign a PS player or needed to cut one to find room. Doesn’t make sense. I’ll go with @DBilz2500 here.

Well, luckily, Williams made it to the practice squad. Hopefully he can grind it out and continue to progress. Hopefully Yarborough doesn’t get picked up either. I’m sure within 1-2 weeks, we’ll have some injuries and be able to bring these guys up from the PS or in Eddies case, just get him back on the roster.

I would have Kept Yarborough and Williams. I would have made a way to keep Shady and or Murphy in the roster as well. If that meant going without Lee Smith and Dimarco, that would have been my choice.

That still doesn’t mean anything in regards to this argument. And Leonard Williams plays DE for the Jets and he’s an absolute stud.

The Jets finished with 39 sacks last year which tied them for 16th overall in sacks for the season. But keep trying. The logic gin is still there that the HC is a kook and the front office is even more clueless considering they fired their GM after they allowed him to draft this years players. If your argument was that Polite was a POS and not a good team mate, or not a hard worker, there’s not really anything for me to say. It is what it is. But you are claiming his talent isn’t good enough to make an nfl roster and your just flat out wrong. The dude put together enough in college to be drafted in the 3rd round.
