Buffalo Bills to fans on game day: Behave or be gone
mrags replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You realize It’s against the law right? “Open Container Law and Penalties In New York State, it is against the law to drink from or have an open container of alcohol in a public place. This law does not apply to residences or business establishments with liquor licenses, but it does prohibit drivers and passengers from possessing or consuming an open container of alcohol in the car. The law applies even when the car is not being driven, meaning being inside a parked vehicle does not allow you to have a drink. The only way to be sure that you will not get in trouble with the law for having an open bottle of alcohol in your car is if it is in the trunk.” https://www.lipsitzgreen.com/dwi/2017/03/01/what-is-new-yorks-open-container-law/ -
I don’t blame or judge anyone for walking out the way he did. When it’s time to go, it’s tome to go. As long as that person understands that they made a promise to their team mates and they broke that promise. They violated a type of thought that they are all in it together and nobody gives up until the game is over. He was being counted on by others and gave up.

Thank you. And the Pats BS just got worse from there.
-
Let’s be real tho. He’s only doing it once and that’s for about 17 seconds. After that he’s done for a few days.

Actually..... you both picked the wrong song. https://youtu.be/my6bfA14vMQ

It’s because we’re buffalo and the national media still hates us. They will still hold on giving us any credit until we’re winning the division or something.
-
Most negative people will say who have they beaten tho? The number 30th and 31st ranked teams in the league? Hell, even this week they o my play the 26th ranked team. But it at least they put us at 9 with the rest of the 2-0 teams and didn’t put a 1-1 team ahead of us.

A Few Thoughts about the Giants game, in no particular order
mrags replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is a fact. I think people are getting caught up on Zay being a dominant WR. He’s just not. He’s a solid WR that can make some plays and be counted on for some things. He has turned out some really nice 3rd downs this year so far. Yes he has missed some too. It’s going to happen. Even Julio Jones drops passes from time to time. To expect perfection from Zay Jones is just comical. But he’s been alright so far. He’s not going to be our featured WR ever I don’t think. I’m fine with that. But he can and had contributed. -
Well. In his defense. You didn’t see much of anybody in the 3rd Q because the entire offense looked terrible during the 3rd.
-
Thank you So what your saying is that there’s almost a 25% that we would still not make the playoffs?

I actually don’t look fir what’s wrong. I watch football and I am either pleased with success, or not pleased with failure. It’s as simple as that. I’m glad we won. But I’m not going to sit here and drink the kool-aid and say that because we won, there aren’t things that need to be fixed. Again, even McDermott admitted in his presser that things need to be addressed. Im not here to say they need to be perfect, or score on every single drive. I know that is not even reasonable to think that. But I don’t expect them to be dominant for the first 2 quarters (and they were pretty darn close to dominant) and then come out completely flat in the entire 3rd quarter. I don’t remember exactly, but it was 3 or 4 drives that were just absolutely miserable. Again, we won. Great. Now let’s work on it so that we don’t have flat spots in the games. Because if we were playing the Pats, or Chiefs, or even a team like Dallas, they all would have taken advantage of our lackluster 3rd Quarter. The fact is, and most people here will tell you, that the Giants and Eli aren’t good. Well, at one point, fairly late in the game, we only had a lead of 7 points. I dont want to just win games. I want to be a good team. I want to be a legit playoff team. Not a team that backs into wins. And I’m not saying we did that last week or today. I’m simply saying, if we want to be good and competitive with the best teams in the league, we can’t have entire quarters where we are completely missing. Enjoy the win. And have a good night. I know I am. -

I never said I expect perfection. My entire argument was that people with rose colored glasses in refuse to say anything was wrong with today. Just because we got the win doesn’t mean things don’t need to be worked on. They absolutely do. Even McDermott admitted to that in his presser. If you watched this game and didn’t think after that 3rd Q, and the Giants getting working 7, we didn’t need to have a good drive to ensure we didn’t lose, then I’m sorry you haven’t been around long enough to see things unravel so quickly that we could have lost this game. -

The fact is, I don’t want to play down to our opponent. Or play up to them. I want to be the team dictating the way the game is played. I don’t know about you but I’d feel more confident during these games with a 20+ lead in the 2nd half. Not really sure why you would want to let a team with an ability to get back I to the game. And it’s not necessarily play calling to the fact that we were running the clock out. Because we weren’t. We were having trouble executing in the entire 3rd quarter. That could be because of play calls based on what they were doing was predictable, it could be execution, it could be the lack of desire to put the game away. None of the players or coaches are innocent here. I just want to see the team step on the throat of their opponent and inflict their will upon them. I haven’t seen that in a Bills team on a very very long time. Mostly because we haven’t been good enough to do that. But after the first half today (minus the last 40ish seconds) I felt like we were good enough to exert our dominance. And in the 2nd half we allowed them to hang around. -
I never saw or heard his name mentioned. So he must have played well.

Thank you for adding Neal

I see the same with Ford and Dawkins. As far as Dawkins is concerned. They shouldn’t resign him for the money he’s likely to be searching for. He’s not even a top 16 LT in this league. His penalties and sloppy play should ensure he doesn’t get resigned. But he is one of McDermotts first big moves as HC with Dawkins and trading Glenn. I do fear they resign him. He’s at best the 3rd best OL on the team right now. Maybe 4th. Behind Morse, Feliciano, and Spain

Thank you. I for one am not having issue with being conservative by running the ball. Personally I’ve wanted to see more of it. Need to get Singletary more involved. Wouldn’t even mind some Yeldon honestly. Where has he been? I know they have to be dressing 3 RBs but I haven’t seen him even once so far. -
I like the thinking here. But doubt that’s going to happen. They are invested in Ford and Nsekhe
