I'm really starting to love this WR room. We quietly got better

So to point 1. We’re fine. Allen’s fine. Everything is fine. point 2. Don’t worry we still might add more. got it. -
Has anyone gotten training camp “lottery” tickets yet?
mrags replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is exactly what the NFL wants. It’s a fact, and no surprise that they make the mass majority of their money from tv contracts. If they raise prices so high that the normal people can’t go, while limiting tickets with less seats every time a stadium is built, it only creates more and more people watching from tv and their tv contracts continue to pull in more and more. -

Between all the political talk, golf talk, and baseball talk, I’m good. Besides, @Augie is assessing all my problems perfectly fine here. -

He was a DC for 2 years in Philly and never cracked the top half of the league in defensive rankings. He was a DC for 6 years under Rivera as HC. Before that he was a position coach under Johnson in Philly, under Reid. I’d say that 2 years as a failing DC doesn’t qualify him to consider anyone but Rivera as his mentor. Who is a disciple of Reid anyway. But we all know that Rivera and McDermott are nothing like Reid. Harbaugh who is a Reid disciple, on the other hand is very close. -

I’m not against it by any means. and I do like Ben Johnson, but I never said he was my wish. I just hate McDermott and want him gone and would prefer a money with a clipboard over him. talk about Stockholm syndrome btw. Pretty sure everyone here that still backs this coach has it. -

I’m not saying for fact that he does. We don’t know that and likely never will. They are a package deal imo and if one goes the other is gone too. he still has value tho. Just because McD says heavy on D and provides his “needs” at certain positions, doesn’t mean that Beane doesn’t pick the player he would prefer there. But that’s likely a team effort as well. im saying the argument could be made that Beane works with his HC and staff. He has stated it in the past in fact. My argument is that if his HC was an offensive minded HC, he would continue to have that team effort and you would see more emphasis on offense bs defense. JMO. and don’t you dare threaten that possibility that McD is fired and Beane still drafts DL early and often. I would run out of tears. -

I’m just spitballing here, to add to this as well as @GunnerBills post. Maybe, just maybe, he drafts for what his HCs philosophy is. Let’s not all forget he had Ron Rivera. The same guy that McDermott cut his teeth with. Let’s not assume that it’s Beanes practice or drafting, over drafting, and spending countless resources on defense on his own will. -
And here I am just happy to be thought of in this argument.

So many options. mcdermott brady coleman cook Miller elam rousseau epenesa this list could go on and on -
Yeah but he’s got an extra hitch in his step

But I don’t have black rubber gloves stuffed into every nook and cranny in a rusted out Toyota

Looks to me like he’s still gingerly on those legs on cuts. I’ll believe the von hype this season when I see him do more than walk out of the tunnel this season.
-
I used to think he was “alright” but I’m turning. Now I just hate him and want him gone. I’d take my chances with a monkey holding a clipboard.
-
Nope. I’d still pretty much hate his existence.
-
I guess I’ll just have to live with the fact that I’m a sucker for taking the bait. But at least I’m not the sucker that actually thinks this loser is a good coach.

That’s great. He barely made the top 3rd of the leagues coaches. He only needed the 2nd best player in football to do it.

Just came here to confirm this. Received an email from my rep today that there is a limit for 6 tickets for each account holder for all of camp.

This years STer that has no business playing on O/D
mrags replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah I was at work for 16 hours today without use of my phone. There’s no need to answer the question. McDermott lives his ST aces. He’s proved that over the years. While he doesn’t specifically draft guys to play special teams, he definitely has it in mind when taking certain players. In both draft and FA. im not arguing with you about it because it sounds like you’re one of the apologists I’ve talked about. Have a good night. -
I’m not saying this diagram isn’t correct. But I do believe All the clubs in the new stadium will be covered by the club section above it. With the exception of the 400 level, which I believe is not clubs. They get screwed.

Don’t even go there mark. This coaching staff is notorious for their STs players. -
I’m not saying you are incorrect. But with everything so much up in the air, no one actually knows yet at this point. We’ll see I guess.

Careful. There’s too many special teams apologists here. I’m with you, unless you’re signing Dante Hall, or Devin Hester, there’s zero reason to sign anyone specific to special teams. EVER. But way too many ppl here think we’re crazy
