It’s TBD for either day. I don’t remember there being a sat night game. But more on the idea of a 4pm sat game I’d think. But that game can be flexed to any time slot in either day I believe. If it’s for the division, I fully expect it to be a Sunday 8pm game. Im just not sure it’ll be for the division. I don’t think Miami is nearly as good as their record or the hype they are getting. I’d guess they hit some reality soon.

I would guess if Miami is still within a game or 2 of us, that game will be flexed to a night game. It’ll likely be for the division at that point. All assuming that neither team chokes throughout the year.

Easy answer is our RBs absolutely suck. They have no vision, no elite speed, no special abilities that separate them from JAGs. When we get an actual good RB we will excel.

They just seem to be so strong and so deep at the spot now. I could see them playing with 4 or 5 CBs along with 1 Safety in certain situations.

With Jackson, Benford, Elam, T. Johnson, And Tre back healthy with Hyde out. Do we run some kind of D that only utilizes 1 safety? Keep Elam and Tre on islands where everyone else plays a zone? sorry, don’t know defensive schemes here besides genealogies. Is this something they think about? Could have 5 solid corners that all could be considered starters in this league.

How about we all just concede that the Bills org knows what kind of health Tre is in much more than we do. If he is ready and healthy, he will likely play. personally if his knee is good, I’d get him practicing right away, keep it slow, keep it limited. And use him in game situations all the same, until he is ready and in football shape and able to start and play all game again. If his knee was fine right now I’d get him in there and suited up for Sunday. Don’t play him unless you have more injuries, or until we’re up by a few scores. Then sprinkle him in to get his legs under him again. A lot of his injury I’d imagine is going to be his confidence he’ll have being able to trust that it’s not going to be any issues going forward.

And what a week to do it. Against the Jets. Lol.

This is where I’m at Virgil. I will agree that Edmunds has been very good this year. This is also the story for most of his career as well. but it’s not the things he does well. It’s the few times you clearly see him not playing well. Getting swallowed up by blocks, taking bad angles, attacking the wrong gaps. And most of all, his lack of “splash” plays. Plays that you would expect out of your “pro bowl” middle LB. overall he has been very good. I just wish I didn’t see some of those negative plays. Especially in critical situations and that happens all too often. Almost like he is being singled out.

Defense and it’s not close. At least not yet. Hopefully the Offense gets it together a bit more. They haven’t been bad. They are too 3 in points scored I think. Allen was as 1st in yards and 2nd in TDs heading into this game. Top 2-3 for MVP votes at this point. But the defense is just something special. And they are doing it without White, Hyde, Phillips, Oliver, Poyer for a game, and Benford out. When they get healthy, they are going to punish people. hopefully this means nothing but offense in this years upcoming draft. First round OL, more WR options, more TEs, and yes, until we actually find a decent one, more RBs. Dedicate the entire draft on offense for once, and give Allen some love. I think the defense will be just fine and hopefully won’t be losing anyone. Pay Poyer, at the least franchise tag Edmunds. Resign Phillips and Shaq to multi year deals and just roll the same exact defense out there next year again.

Not sure this is as good as a thing as you say it is. A tackle on a TD?

They also paint a picture for the defense as they know what’s happening when they see certain guys on offense. for example, you aren’t running the ball if Cook is on the field. So the defense can expect a passing play and would be correct probably 99% of the time.

Singletary was terrible running the ball today. And he caught everything but also had some terrible decisions on where he should go with the ball in his hands and hesitancy which was always his issue. have to disagree with you on just about everything here today. Our backs are not good

I agree with 100% of this. But the OP is not wrong. 0-7 in one score games is not a good look. this coaching staff definitely has issues with management, play calling at crucial times

Yeah no. Backup Center to start. Then backup RT and RG during the game. Then backup to the backup Center mid game. I’d say that our backups and 3rd string OL played pretty well today considering. not giving excuses, we had the win in our hands and didn’t catch it. But the OL wasn’t nearly as terrible as you think
