  1. Because not all coaches make terrible mistakes at the absolute worst times. Like when the game is in the line. In a divisional playoff game. With 13 seconds left. Yeah. I’m still not over it. It was an inexcusable blunder and we should have been playing the bengals at home for a shot at the SB. Back to the thread about whether McDermott is a good coach or not over a week ago. We lost that game because of him and Frazier. 2 defensive gurus that couldn’t see that with 3 timeouts left, the Chiefs didn’t need to go to the sidelines, yet we played a prevent defense and left the middle of the field wide open. but, like I said, there’s other times he’s screwed up and cost us big games. It’s a problem to say the least. Its bad that we have to hope that Allen and this team can create a big enough lead in games just so that the coaches don’t blow it.
  2. That’s the problem with them. Most of the time we’re definitely pleased with them. But then a few times a year they end up screwing up like the Vikings game. Or the Allen sneak in Tennessee last year. Or 13 seconds. I’m general it’s fine 1-3 times a year. Not when those times cost you a 1 seed or a loss in the divisional round game that’s the problem.
  3. Then just imagine the odds of us repeating once we get Von back and OBJ actually gets in the field.
  4. Didn’t see/hear, what did McDermott sound like? Anyone have a link for the audio or vid?
  5. I think everyone is missing the forest through the trees here. The fact is, Jerry Jones just assumes they will lose in the wildcard game anyway and OBJ won’t be available until a “deep” playoff run. So, Bills fans can rejoice that we might actually be serious about him after all.
  6. You’re up late. Get some sleep old man
  7. I would say the easiest way to fix this would be any player that goes down with an injury of any sort must sit out the remainder of the quarter. Usually it’s at the half or end of game to stop the clock anyway. This way, anytime it happens, a significant player misses out and evens it out. Only problem with that is, in the event that a backup or scrub happens to do it. Who really cares, they are replaceable anyway. then I guess you can throw in the fines and punishments also.
  8. Check your PM
  9. Great day for you with your family. Lots of memories there
  10. Too late to trade him. Should have done that already
  11. @Pine Barrens Mafia its cute that you laughed at my comment but right now that’s the majority leader in what people think he should get in his next contract.
  12. If he makes more than 14-15m a year then I’ll be incredibly disappointed.
  13. He’s so much worse than womanizing.
  14. This x1,000 I’ll add that Andre Reed is/was a real POS as well.
  15. 💯 on just about everything you said. I’d say that’s pretty much the way of athletes and famous ppl now. They move to Florida or California. They have all the money in the world so why limit yourself. If Allen woke up tomorrow with Kelly’s money, he’d jump out a window. But yes, Allen is 1,000x a better person than Kelly was.
  16. Agree on the 2nd part for sure. I wouldn’t want to get into numbers in the first part. Fact is, Davis used to be super reliable and he’s fallen off this year. Not sure what the reason and I won’t pretend to know either. But he’s definitely not held up to his deal as a 2nd WR.
  17. Motor at a team friendly deal, yes. And I’d expect Hines to take a restructured deal. Add in some guaranteed money. Some incentives. And expectations that he wouldn’t be a first or maybe even a second option.
  18. So when he was dropping balls and not playing well, those people weren’t right? Even a broken clock is right twice a day. I will agree with you McK can and is sometimes very good. He’s also sometimes very bad. He’s inconsistent at best. He’ll have 6 games in a row with 1 catch for 6 yards, then have a game with 7 for 80+. It’s infuriating actually that he’s not better all the time. Because you are right, he does have it in him to be very good.
