  1. Lol. Youre comical dude. Don’t go to more than a game or 2 a year and you think you have an opinion on it. More than someone that’s had season tix for almost 20 years. Tell me what experience you have in the stadium that should be forwarded to Terry when I talk to him? That the 2 games a year that you go to in September the weather is just fine and the need for covered seats isn’t needed at all? love you out of towners that come into town 3 times a year and talk about what the Buffalo Bills should represent and how awesome an atmosphere it is here. Personally I’m embarrassed by stupid fat people jumping through tables, doing butt chugs in the parking lots, and covering themselves in ketchup and mustard. It makes the entire region look like a bunch of idiots and it’s exactly what the NFL, the Bills org, and the city wants to get away from. Which is why they aren’t giving us anything very nice, it’s also why they are raising ticket prices so much that all the 20 year olds spending their McDonald’s paychecks going to games won’t be able to afford it anymore. tell me, are you that bothered by the fact that you really have no identifiable opinion of the stadium if you don’t live in the area or go to games on a regular basis? Who’s the whiney B on a message board now?
  2. Buffalo loser mindset. I never should have moved back. Now I work for this terrible state and have no choice but to stay another 12-13 years until I can retire and GTFO Loser buffalo mindset. Many wanted a dome. They claimed it wasn’t cost effective. Covering all the seats would have been a great option. You can clearly see they never even thought of it
  3. Well, you’d think they would have learned from the first time before holding ours. my biggest issue with the design of the stadium is the coverage of the seating. Tottenheim appears to cover almost every single fan. Ours doesn’t look like it even covers the entire 500 levels. It’s concerning. It was a way to get the coverage of the fans like a dome without the cost of a dome. It could have been done which is apparent by looking at Tottenheim, but they opted to not do it. I’d say it probably has honestly. Because this economy is terrible. I’d also point out that the costs of doing business in NYS is more than anywhere else. But still, it could have been had for similar to what we are expected to pay.
  4. This is where I’m at. Could have had that and we opted for something less Or this Are you assuming I’m sane?
  5. Don’t get me wrong. I’ve said it before, not sure in this thread or not. I’m sure I’ll be pleased when the stadium is built. The Ralph was a dump. Why people wanted to hang onto such a dump in open air for so long is beyond me. I’ll likely be amazed at how nice the new stadium will be compared to our 50+ year old dump. But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have bucked up for more, better. will I be extremely upset about paying more than double my current ticket prices to continue to stand out in the cold rainy/snowy conditions for 4+ games a year? You betcha. If I can manage to afford the ridiculous PSLs and 150% ticket increases and still be able to be covered and heated while enjoying the game, I’ll be much happier. But based off these renderings I have serious doubts the general seating crowd will experience any of that. The covered and heated seats will like start around $3,000+ PSLs and another $4,000+ per seat. Those prices will likely price me out of the stadium. I can’t justify spending $8k a year in tickets when I would much rather go on 2+ Caribbean vacations a year for that type of money.
  6. I’m just thankful he kept the team in this area for years while bending us fans over every chance he could get.
  7. And fyi, your view in this whole thing is exactly what’s wrong with this whole project and society today. Accepting anything that’s not best for everyone involved. Like I’ve said already in this thread, you act like the girl that keeps going back to her boyfriend that keeps beating her but tells her he’s sorry and sends her flowers after every beating. Apparently it’s just ok with you that we have a team and don’t care about anything else. personally I think this whole thing screams mediocrity on every level. Just like our owner, just like our HC, just like our GM. Basically the entire organization is just ok with being in the game and have no desire to win it on any level. Similar to the mind set of most Buffalonians. I’d also like to point out that people here that don’t go to games on a regular basis, or don’t live in the area, shouldn’t even be involved in the argument. If you are that’s fine, if you are not, you should have zero opinion on any of it. You don’t utilize what we’re going to be getting on Sunday’s, and your taxes aren’t paying for it either.
  8. Well, I don’t have Pegulas phone number. I’ll be happy to B word to him instead of doing it here someone get me his number. Thank you. Seems people here don’t want to believe someone that’s actually done this as a career Great, just like when Ralph was here
  9. Well, we’ve already been told that a dime would have cost us an additional 800m. So apparently they are lying less for getting more if you take away the dome.
  10. And for the record, what is it that you do for a career SoCal?
  11. Just curious not being a ST holder makes you even like it? We’ve all said what we dislike about it. Tell us what you like about it? Keep in mind you apparently don’t go to games. How bout do you even live in the area?
  12. They are getting a masterpiece for not much more. I know very little about it as well honestly. But I’ve seen the renderings and they seem significantly better that what we’re getting.
  13. it would be amazing that a multi billion dollar architectural firm that has designed multiple stadiums in the past can’t figure out how to create things to scale in the renderings for the nfl world to see. They aren’t new to this. The rendering designs are pretty much what we’re going to get.
  14. Don’t worry I’m thinking about it. If you happen to have Pegulas phone number, please send it over. I’ll be glad to call him an idiot
  15. Thank you. Seems some people don’t think this is pretty close to exactly what we will be getting and think some magical unicorns will pop up overnight and provide us with better covered seating. Better heated seating. Make assumptions that the concourses are going to be drop dead amazing (without any renderings mind you). So far the renderings leave much to be desired and it’s not going to happen. We will have more of the same. A stadium in the middle of nowhere. That isn’t comfortable in the winter. Doesn’t take nearly enough effort to remove as much weather as possible despite not by a dome. That eliminates any use of the stadium other than 10 Sunday’s a year for football season and maybe 3 concerts a year in the summer time. Has the same terrible traffic patterns just like every Sunday on game day. Has little to know room for progress where it sits with regard to hotels, restaurants, and bars. You know. Things that actually provide something to do before, during, and after the game on game days. Unless your talking about the 48 people packing into Big Tree, or the 400 20 year olds spending mommy’s money at that dump on the corner of Abbott and southwestern. it’s just a disappointment. Based on what other cities have downs recently, and what similar cities are getting for their money at the same time like Tennessee, we are getting shafted.
  16. Yes. I know we’re not getting a dome. The rest of this lame stadium is what bothers me. Especially for the money. When I say that I mean because for the cost to the tax payers, and season ticket holders of which I’m both, it leave a lot to be desired. My assumptions about it being what they are showing in their renderings are more true than what yours are trying to justify that the renderings are going to be something different that the actual finished product. I believe it’s laughable that someone thinks an official rendering from the source of a multi billion dollar franchise and a multi billion dollar architectural firm who has produced multiple different stadiums in the past that are very similar to what we are building would show something that wasn’t even remotely close to what the final product will be. it’s comical that you believe things are going to be vastly different than what’s shown so far. Just as comical and scary really that you are ok with mediocrity. If your from the area and you can’t see that this is all a waste it’s puzzling to me.
  17. Actually there’s A lot of people that believe you are making assumptions. The Buffalo Bills org is releasing renderings of the stadium and giving us expectations of what it will look like and it’s not acceptable to more than a few on a small message board. You are the one making assumptions that it’ll be anything more than what they are supplying with disappointing images. No. In those markets they actually have people and business as well as national corporations ponying up for expensive seats and PSLs. A massive majority of season ticket holders in Buffalo are drunk 20 somethings. Most of them still live in moms basement
  18. It’s likely more about the fact that since season tix prices are going to more than double and then add thousands in PSLs they know they are going to price so many thousands of fans out of a venue they have a hard time filling up now with the cheapest prices in the league.
  19. Well, I sure know it’s not a dome. I sore know it’s not downtown where it could actually do some good for the area. I sure know that the awnings on the roof aren’t covering the majority of fans from cold and the elements. I sure know that based on the images that I’m sore the architects submitted that the overhangs on the middle sections appear to be club and vip sections just like in the current stadium now where’s ticket prices are already 2500+. Add in that ticket prices will likely double and then add in the PSL fees and you are paying a whole lot for tickets. For the regular Shlubs that don’t manage to get club seats under heat and under cover, they will be paying over twice as much for tickets every game to be in the same crumby weather conditions as they’ve been in for years. And that may be fine for the drunk 20 something crowd but I’m not interested in jumping through flaming tables and freezing my butt off all game. You’re complaining that we’re all a bunch of whiney babies because we aren’t happy. I say anyone that is happy with the crap they are showing us is too accepting. It’s like the girl that stays with her boyfriend because he keeps telling her that he lives her but then beats the crap out of her every few weeks.
  20. It’ll be angles so that the snow ice and rain runs backwards I’d imagine. But you’re pretty much right. Doesn’t cover fans from most of those elements. It will help in the fight against the wind I’d imagine. Whoopty doo
  21. That’s why I added it up originally. The 62% people are thinking is that the overhang will come over and over half of the fans. Just not true. It’ll cover likely over half of the 500 level. Then each level will have its own overhang that will likely cover 50% or more like the clubs in our current stadium. Every level will have coverage in some capacity. I’m not sure the 62% is supposed to be total, or up to 62% of each section. It’s statistical numbers that could be skewed in any way they want to make it sound better, which it did at the time. Now the renderings show different. Which is odd because if you look at Tottenheim stadium, the pictures show that the overhang is much larger and covers what appears to be every single seat. This is probably what bothers me the most. https://www.designboom.com/architecture/new-tottenham-hotspur-stadium-london-populous-04-02-2019/ No. It just sucks. They are going to spend 1.4B of the taxpayers money on a new stadium that didn’t really address any issues of the old stadium besides concourse width, bathrooms, and vending areas. Not sure how anyone would be ok with that.
  22. As weird as it may be. That’s what’s going to happen. Etch it in stone now and tell me I’m right in about 5-10 years. look at the renderings again closely. Anywhere there’s red will be overhangs that will have heat. Like I said, similar to the current clubs now. There’s going to be 5 levels so there’s going to be 4 levels of coverage with heat in some capacity. The levels between the 200 and 400 are stacked almost on top of each other so the overhang and coverage will be fairly significant. Again, for club level types.
  23. That’s because that roof overhang isn’t responsible for keeping 65% of the stadium seats dry. It will likely cover about half of the 500 level seats. Then you will have levels 200, 300, and 400 that will have over 50% of the seats covered and heated just like the club seats in the current stadium. Then you’ll have a few overhangs in the end zones in multiple levels, as well as a few spots in the 100s that are also covered by an overhang with heat. the misconception is that the roof overhangs will keep “62%” (a number confirmed by the Bills at one point) fry. It won’t. So just like the club seats now, unless you plan on bucking up big money for a club type seat, good luck getting out of the elements. this is my biggest issue with the stadium. I’ve been a ST holder for 17 years. If I’m going to spend the kind of money they want to charge for the new seats and PSLs, I want to be dry and warm while I’m there. my personal opinion is that a huge number of Bills Mafia will be priced out of season tickets. Which I also think may be a good thing. The nfl, the team, the city, doesn’t want drunk 20 year olds jumping through flaming tables and doing butt chugs in the parking lots before games. Making the entire fan base look like a bunch of Neanderthals that just got out of moms basement for the first time. They want families feeling safe and spending entire paychecks on tickets and merchandise as well as food and beverages during their game day experience. Or corporate money from local business and national businesses alike buying high priced suites and club tickets. the fan experience of Bills Mafia as we know it today will be a thing of the past once this new stadium is complete. You heard it here first.
