If DHop does get traded, I believe it’ll happen the week of, or during the draft. I believe they will part ways for sure. Too much smoke, there has to be some fire there. But I firmly believe it’ll be during the draft when someone falls the way they want in the draft.

Exactly. And…. To think that even if he allowed Frazier to mismanage his own defense, he didn’t fire Frazier after the 13 second debacle. If that’s the case, then it makes the case for firing McD even greater. Thy he allowed his own DC to screw up as bad as he did and didn’t clean it up when he had all the reason in the world to do it. Yet he didn’t. Why?!? Because Frazier did exactly what McD wanted him to do.

You’re thinking things are as simple as replacing some speakers and TVs. Way more into it than that.

Expect to be disappointed if you expect any change. Anyone that thinks Frazier wasn’t running the D exactly how McClappy wanted it ran is in for a shocker this year. really hope I’m wrong. But we’ll find out I guess.

FYI, I never said I wouldn’t bring someone in. I think they should. Personally I’d take someone to compete with Dawkins for LT and the loser goes to LG. At least on paper that sounds great, but Dawkins would be much better suited at G imo. And…. He’s coming to the end of his contract. Only 2 more years left I believe. I’d be searching for his replacement at the very least. and they would be foolish to not even be looking at all the options available to them in every draft and FA. You don’t completely discount any position just because you have someone there already. You may find someone completely better. But that’s the argument for Best Player Available with each pick vs drafting for need. like I said, I’m not disagreeing that we should be looking at every option. We should. I’m simply stating that I’m following my gut that Beane will not replace or find someone to compete with Brown this year in FA or draft. UNLESS, someone falls to them at a spot they never imagined would happen. Either way, neither of us can be proven right on what the FO is thinking. Unless youve got Beanes phone number and want to give him a text and see what he plans on doing. Thank you 100%. Again, I’m not saying what I think they should do. I’m simply stating what I think is going through their heads and what I expect them to do. If you think we’re going OT, look to be disappointed is all I’m saying. Brown is young. And this guy is 31. I’m positive he has more upside.

They say that every year. I’m just reading the writing on the wall. They aren’t going to upgrade the RT spot. Unless someone falls to them in the draft they weren’t expecting to be there and they can’t pass it up. we can wish and hope all we want, but consistently this FO has disappointed us when it comes to what we think they need as far as competition and what they actually do. Look no further than being disappointed again. Just saying.

Because Beane and the Bills brass have already expressed their belief in Brown and regardless what many fans think, he is their guy at RT moving forward.

He’s been a POS in multiple places at this point. id sign Jack to replace Edmunds now though. Then you aren’t handcuffed to finding one in the draft or being screwed. You could still get one, but wouldn’t have to reach for one. but I firmly believe we’re going defense heavy again in the draft. So not sure why I’d bother at this point anyway.

My point was that we’ve been “in” on getting more weapons for Allen since last season. It’s continued. Some/many of us believe it’s not enough. That a bigger splash is needed. That is debatable. But the fact is we still don’t have a legit #2 that churns our yards and first downs like we would like. At least haven’t found one yet. Beane has shown he msg had interest. He was in on OBJ talks going back to last year. He was in on talks regarding DHop. He’s picked up multiple FAs. The facts are there that he’s aware what we have hasn’t been enough.

He’s been in on just about every available WR going back to last year. They resigned Bease and Brown when they knew they didn’t have the wheels to keep the O churning. They were “in” on OBJ until they realized he wasn’t ready last season. They’ve picked up 2 FAs so far and have been talked about with every other FA WR worth a damn. I’d say they did more than ask.

When JP is healthy he’s a positive for the Dline. And hate to break it to you, but Shaq was probably our 3rd best DE last year behind Von and then Rous. If we can get him back on a girly friendly deal it’s worth it. Hoping we can get him for similar to what JP got. But he likely wants more.

Well. He’s definitely not a 1st rounder. He may not be there when we pick in the 3rd round but I’d put money on it he’s there when we pick late in the 2nd
