  1. Naw. I enjoyed that link very much. Makes me want to keep coming back and opening it. I say we should keep this thread open forever now
  2. I never said that. I was simply talking about the longevity of the arena compared to the crap we’re about to build.
  3. I personally feel like most of those guys are inside guys. JMO
  4. The guy missed 6 games in each of the last 2 seasons. 15 games twice and 7 games in his rookie year. He’s also missed at least 2 playoff games and been injured with no return in at least one more. The guy is the opposite of reliable. But for your argument, no, I wouldn’t consider his output as a player a success by a 75% margin. To look at our QBs since Kelly in 96 and Allen in 17 here’s a list of the QBs that have passed for the career high 3100 Yards that Lamar passed for in his best season. Flutie in 99’ Bledsoe in 02’ Fitz in 11’ Fitz in 12’ After that you had about 5 guys with 3k yards. 2 of them were Taylor. Who was also a running QB. So basically on par with Jackson. So basically Jackson is a better version of Tyrod Taylor.
  5. Cheaply made crap nowadays. None of it will hold up But it is still there after 2,000 years
  6. If we take one in rd 1 or 2 it should come off the table. Our terms should be we’re looking until draft time and if we take one early, we have no room for other WRs taking away from their reps.
  7. I feel you may be right. Beane and Von have likely reached out and said, take what you can get, but if the offers aren’t there when things are done, our offer is still on the table and this is what it is. Take it or leave it. I feel like after the draft, things may get tougher for him to find a team he really wants to go to.
  8. Because of where he was picked I’d say he has been 50/50. He was still a first round pick. And as good as Lamar has been at times, he’s also been an issue, mainly with health/injuries. But his consistency hasn’t been the greatest either. either way, they’ve fumbled the whole situation by allowing it to get as bad as it has. Or maybe they are right as an Org and don’t want to waste their future on a guy that has proven that availability isn’t his strong suit.
  9. Really like Laporta. Was hoping he didn’t run very well at the combine. Could have had possibly even in the 3rd before that happened. Not now.
  10. The 2nd half of the season went pretty bad for him. Von was hurt and it affected our defense sure but at the same time was a flashing light to McDermott and the rest of the FO that maybe Frazier isn’t the reason why our defense was good in the first place. it was some of the talent we had at multiple positions. I’m not saying Frazier was holding us back necessarily. But maybe the FO and McD realized they can get by without him. Personally I think he’s alright but much to similar if how I feel about McD. Way too conservative. Hope I’m wrong about it and I see a defense set the world in fire this coming year.
  11. I hate it too. But I bet I’m right.
  12. That may be true. But it is 2,000 years old and it’s still there. I guarantee you not a single nfl stadium will be even close to resembling a structure in 2,000 years.
  13. With the state of our offense and what we need. I’d say go with the proven star WR. Give your star QB weapons. And then in the draft, double down and take more weapons and help on OL. They won’t do any of that tho. They will likely draft 2 defensive players in the first 3 rounds is my guess.
  14. He was defiantly pressured. They likely gave him the option to resign with dignity by “taking a year off” so they wouldn’t have to be the bad guys for firing him. McD has too much respect for Frazier to do that to him. I just hope I’m wrong and McD gets something out of this defense that Frazier failed to do.
  15. Sounds like it’s a pretty rough relationship. I’d bet they cut ties at draft time.
  16. Yeah but they likely want picks for this year. Get guys in there now so that next year when their midget QB comes back they can hit the ground running.
  17. Well. For the success of the team I really hope you are right. But some of us are preparing to be disappointed yet again. Hopefully McClappy surprises me.
  18. Yeah. If he’s released we’re not gonna get him. Lol. Some team will overpay for him. Which is really the issue. get him for minimal draft picks but eat his contract. Or the cards will eat some of the contract but they want more in return.
  19. Right. At some point we need to go from being the hunter/underdog to being the hunted with a target on our backs. Yet we gave the Bengals all the locker room material in the world coming into the Div champ game and we blew that big time. Flattest we have seen the team play in years.
  20. He was picked 32nd overall. Last pick in the 1st rd. Just wait until he’s black balled and not signed and then he starts to claim all his bad decisions on CTE
  21. So…. You and I are on the same page. McD is a disappointment overall. I give him credit for getting us this far. Just don’t think he can get us to the top of that mountain. I hope I’m wrong. And of course anything can happen. Even a broke watch is right twice a day.
