  1. Well, here’s the thing. It’s a message board. A place for people to chat about their opinions on matters. Last I checked I was replying to someone else and you decided to comment to me here. So if you were sick of it, you sure had a funny way of bringing yourself in the conversation. I get it. It’s what you do for a living and you’re likely annoyed with everyone talking about the whole thing like they know what they are talking about. A shame really because throughout this whole process a lot of people were looking to you for your opinion on the matter. But it’s pretty obvious that now you don’t want to be part of the conversation anymore. That’s fine. We can all get along having our opinions on the whole process. maybe the mods will just close this thread because it’s obvious it’s nothing but a whine fest anyway. 2 sides of whining. Those that are sick of accepting what we are paying for as tax payers. And those that are sick of those people “whining” about it.
  2. I have no doubt the new stadium will be cool. It’ll be a huge upgrade from what we currently have now. But that doesn’t mean I don’t think they made countless mistakes with the design, and the location, along with no roof. I know, I know, everyone is sick of hearing about all these complaints. Like I already said, as much as everyone is sick of hearing about it, those of us that have complaints are sick of hearing from everyone that it is what it is, just have to accept it. Or the argument that it keeps the Bills in Buffalo for the foreseeable future. It’s a lame acceptance imo.
  3. Exactly. As long as 17 is our QB we have a window open. The same will be said for Cinci with Burrow. They likely won’t be able to keep both of the WRs but they will definitely keep one of them. I wonder if that will try and keep both though. Signing Higgins this year and worrying about Burrow and Chase when their time comes. Imo they would be fools to do that. But they may think they can hold out until the cap rises and they can somehow keep them all.
  4. Huge fan of Ford-Weaton. Think he could be a Gabe Davis like steal in the rounds 4+. also like Dean and Zavala in later rounds.
  5. That may be correct. They could play on a high school football field for all most of us care. That’s not the point. The point is they WERE building a new stadium anyway. No good comes from the one they are building other than “keeping the Bills in WNY” and that’s a lame excuse for a new stadium. Like JRB said. They had plenty of opportunities to really create something fun and exciting and they failed.
  6. 100%. Burrow, Higgins, and Chase all on rookie deals. They will feel the shock soon. Burrow will be paid as the biggest contract in NFL history when his deal gets done. Chase may be looking for highest paid WR ever. And Higgins will make more than Diggs is currently making when his deal is done. There zero chance that Cinci can keep them all.
  7. pretty much would look like this. Easy there. Don’t you know that people are sick of hearing your disapproval but somehow think their opinion is more important on the matter.
  8. Yeah. It’s still a mistake. I get your point. But what transportation hub do you really foresee them building in OP and what good does it have other than 10-12 days a year for Bills games and a few concerts? yes I know the deal is done. Nothing is going to change it. Fwiw, Sounds like your as salty about people still bringing it up as I am about it actually happening.
  9. I think you nailed it @JoPoy88 at first I was going to comment but I am not sure I have it in me. Sounds like a 10 year hoped in his dads laptop for the first time. I’m pretty sure he’s just trolling now at this point. I will say this though, Terry has been silent about everything in this process. I get that he’s got things going on. I get that Kim was the point person in things like this. But man, his own daughter is out there living her life, playing tennis. Being her self. Terry can clearly answer some things about this whole process. But he won’t. It was Kim that really did it all. Terry just wrote the checks. He’s pretty clueless on this stuff. Honestly, we’re probably better off this way. But the fact remains that HE IS the owner of a multi billion dollar NFL franchise and his team is getting a 1.5B+ stadium being built for them. He should be available for questions. Fwiw, could have had that easily if it was downtown. At the Perry St project site you would have been about 50 ft from the 190 going both north and south easily. And about a 1/2 mile from the subway. Which actually goes almost nowhere. But if you’re spending over 1B to build the stadium, another 1B adding a few subway stops would have made sense. At least over the years if not all at once.
  10. Ours looks terrible. Like an orc from any rpg ever. Other teams based on animals were pretty cool. Most of them anyway. Ours looks like a character in a crappy phone app game.
  11. ^———— add this to my recent argument.
  12. The technology warming the fields has become incredible apparently. You can say all you want about snow issues. But the fact is the snow cancelled the games in the last few years because of transportation issues to and from the stadium. Not because the field was covered with snow. You can bring up how no other teams are in the snow belt. But that’s also not the issue. The issue is cold and grass growing and surviving in the winter. Plenty of teams in cold climates have grass. Green Bay, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Cleveland. Green Bay and Chicago may not get the snow like we do being in the snow belt but they get enough. The bigger issue is they are colder than Buffalo and they do just fine. again, not sure what the issue is. I’m sore if it becomes an issue they can just switch it in the future just like how the Pats changed from grass to turf. And just like how multiple teams, like the Bills have switched from turf to different turf about 3 times in the last 10 years. not your money, don’t worry about it. The Bills will be responsible for the upkeep on it.
  13. Grass is safer for the athletes playing in it. You can say that turf is really nice now, but the fact is, a lot of the turfs out there have injury issues. Especially the turf in NO and Det which cost us both White and Miller in each of the last 2 years. The Bisons and UB have/had grass and it wasn’t great after a certain point because it’s just grass. No underground heaters like the new stadium will have. They’ve already stated that the grass will be a constant temp of 55*. Multiple European soccer stadiums have this tech now, as well as the Packers. Seems to work just fine. and it’s not coming out of your paycheck so I’m not sure why your worried about it.
  14. Let’s hope it’s the canopy for the roof and not some concession stand or ticket counter, etc.
  15. All documents have been signed by the state. Look for them to start breaking ground soon. https://www.buffalobills.com/news/three-party-statement-on-completion-of-documents-for-the-new-stadium-project
  16. Yeah. I guess the radio DJ knows all about putting together multi million dollar IT rooms. Didn’t know that was part of the job description.
  17. Yeah imo over rated. Especially for his availability. No thanks. Wouldn’t want him as my QB.
  18. If it’s Washington then TE. But I’d still be going WR later in the draft. If you can’t get Washington, might as well hope you get the wr. personally I think they may be doing TE. Dorsey did use Winslow and Shockey in Miami. We’ll see
  19. Isn’t it obvious? The Roman Colosseum is clearly what we should have built instead of the monstrosity that we’re going to end up with. gotta admit, I’m 3rd and long the defense could summon the slaves underneath the field to open up hidden compartments where wild animals come out and feed in opposing QBs.
  20. 6ft is fine but Addison is listed at 175 and Hyatt at 180. Even as small as Diggs is as a #1 he still weighs in at 191 according to nfl sites. imo 175 and 180 are way too light for what we’re looking for in an outside WR. We already have someone like Diggs. We need someone more bigger and more physical to compliment Diggs. Hyatt is fast but I’m not seeing anything on tape that intrigues me. Also doesn’t look like he has a full route tree. We already have one of those in Davis. Hard pass. like I said, I’d prefer Johnston but he won’t be there. I’d he is and we don’t sprint to the podium I’d be severely disappointed. But I’m preparing for that because I think this FO and coaching staff are lost when it comes to drafting WRs or anyone on offense for that matter. Yeah, yeah, I know, Allen. I like Tillman in about rd3. Possibly AT Perry or Palmer in rd 3-4.
  21. Same worries about Flowers here. SN is the same. I also believe Addison is a little small to be a legitimate outside guy. But I guess he could end up being similar to someone like Diggs. He may end up being really good. I just don’t think he is what we’re looking for. Q. Johnston is absolutely what I would want out of our #2 to Diggs. But he’s not going to be available. Let me rephrase that, I’d be shocked if he was there at 27. Hyatt I’m also not a fan of. Too small as well. Personally I believe his team mate Tillman is going to end up being better.
  22. Actually I didn’t bring up the Colosseum. Someone else did. I was simply stating that it was still resembling an arena 2,000 years later. It’s a testament to Roman architecture really.
