Are we sure it states bigger canopy “covering the fans” because all I saw the other day when this came out was bigger canopy. For all we know that’s covering concessions somewhere, or ticket checkers, or in the walkway on the way in. Which I guess would cover fans, but we don’t know for sure it’s what I’m assuming you mean by overhang inside the stadium. I believe you are right but let’s not assume that’s 100% accurate is all I’m saying.

Yeah I get sight lines. But can’t do anything about being a mile up from the field. It is what it is. But that’s part of my argument about the whole project and why I keep saying prepared to be disappointed. Or the fact that fans are going to have to make a decision. Either be up in the clouds or pay 5k+ for a PSL and 2-3k per season ticket. It’s just the reality of what’s going to happen imo. im trying to adopt your philosophy and hope to be pleasantly surprised. I feel like I’m getting better.

Back to my old saying in this thread. Prepare to be disappointed. Lol. im almost positive the 500 levels are going to feel that way. Basically add 2 club levels now on top of what we currently have. I have a firm belief this stadium is going to be very tall. The 100 levels will be similar to what we have now. But the 200, 300, and 400 levels I feel will be almost stacked right on top of one another. Then add in the 500 levels which will likely be similar to what the 300s at the Ralph are now. I believe I watched that same video of SoFi. And I can tell you from my experience with NO. Based off the pics and vid’s I saw before I got there. It felt very similar to what I saw with SoFi. It’s gonna be high imo. And pretty steep. Which might not be a bad thing if you like to sit for the whole game and be able to see. Because people likely won’t be standing and being stupid. And the rows will likely be taller steps than there are now so your view of the back of the guys head in front of you will likely be a foot lower.

Thank you. Was basing my info off the same thing. I had screen shots of all of that at one point. Can’t find them among my 15k saved photos. I think the survey was a feeler. But I do think they will raise prices. They already have it in the contract to raise a certain % anywhere they see fit. So I expect it to happen. I also think this survey was a feeler to see how much they could push each individual as far as possible. Like @SoCal Deek says. Let’s hope we’re pleasantly surprised. Yeah. That’s what I was saying about a feeler to push ST holders as much as possible. They’d be foolish not to try and gauge what they could charge for each seat. The way the survey was set up was specifically in a way to do that

Just an fyi. Based on the survey I received last year. The PSL prices they sent out were ranging from 1700-2600 in the end zones, 2600-4000 in the corner of the end zones, 2600-9000 along the sidelines for mezzanine levels, and the least amount I saw were in the upper decks starting at 1400 and up to 1700 with roof coverage being the higher end. based off the screen shots I saved at the time and current have access to right now. fwiw, the 500 levels are going to be really high up. I sat in the upper levels of New Orleans a few years ago and I was afraid to stand up. Felt like if did I was going to fall and never stop until I hit the field. If I wasn’t with family at the time I would have made my wife and I move the second I sat in the seats. I saw the game alright, every inch of the field. I just couldn’t make out who was who on the field by number I was that far away. from what I’ve heard, many of these new stadiums feel this way. I almost went to LA last year for the opener and was looking at their 500 level seats. Based on the images I saw online it felt no different than what I experienced in NO. Thank you.

That will probably be the first step of they have trouble getting people to bite on the PSL and increased tix prices. That’s about all it’ll take really. They know that brokers will easily buy them and make a killing off then. If people go from ST holder and attending every game a year to not being able to afford it anymore, look for people to go all out once or twice a year instead and buy tix in the secondary market

You are 100% on that. Just about everything you said. I keep saying it and have to keep reminding people. Prepare to be disappointed. That’s not just the stadium being built. It’s the process of how they are doing it. It’s the costs that are going to come with it. Everything. If the public funding was to cover much of stadium costs and everything then they shouldn’t have to force the PSLs. Or if they did that, then they shouldn’t have to increase ticket prices by 100%. again, time will tell on all of this. I think people are going to be in for a rude awakening. We will see I guess.

That’s the tricky part though isn’t it? I don’t know because I haven’t dealt with PSLs in the past. But doesn’t it mean that because you paid the PSL you own the seat. So in the even if a concert, or monster truck rally, or any other sort of show there, aren’t those your tickets if you chose to buy them?

I did that this year in the night Miami game. There was about a ft of snow in the ground. The little “bridge” over the creek was icy as hell. I’ll never go that way again.

Simply stating it’s easier said than done to not support the team anymore. We’re all in this. I’m in my 40s. Been a die hard fan all my life. Moved away to different states. At the end of the day I never swayed in my love for this team. Through the best years we’ve had in the 90s and now, and through the worst of times with a revolving door of coaches and QBs that couldn’t get it done. like I said above. The time may come when it’s worth it to continue to pay the increases in ticket prices. For the product they put on the field for now, it’s worth it. If that continues once the new stadium is built, the increases at that time, and the product they put on the field is yet to be seen. There were time in the 17 year drought that you couldn’t give tickets away to games. I went to all of them. Every single one. Now there’s a 7k person waiting list for tickets. I wonder what that will look like after Josh is gone, and we can’t find another QB for 5+ years. When we haven’t made the playoffs in years. Will there still be a waiting list? Will people still be willing to spend $300+ to go to a single game? We will see. We will see. and for the record I haven’t brought up the downtown or some thing in like 3 pages. I’ve conceded in the arguments.

As I said earlier. Easier said than done. Asking to not be a fan is like asking to not care about your children. It’s in our blood. It’s why we’re all here. It’s why we sit here and debate topics in the Bills when the season isn’t even going on. To some people it’s more than just watching a game once a week. I’m sure you understand that, you’re here too. But yes, at some point people will have to make decisions if they want to keep giving this team their money and if it’s worth the cost of going to games, or if it isn’t anymore. Right now it’s worth it. Time will tell if it stays that way or not.

This is what makes sense. If they want a Christian McCaffrey type package they would be expected to eat some or much of the salary. If they don’t want to eat the salary they likely get a day 3 pick out of the deal. fwiw they were talking about it on WGR the other day I think. Someone said the Cards previous Gm has contacted the league/Goodell with some issues with the owner and the HC this past season. Something about the Gm was suspended for 5 weeks and the owner made them all is burner phones to communicate while he was suspended. Said he still us the burner phone for evidence. not sure what cheating was going on or anything but it was an abuse of league rules to the suspension. So you might actually see the Cards be reprimanded in some form or another. Possibly loss of a draft pick somewhere. If that happens you could see the current Gm make a play to recoup any picks that were lost by making a trade. Maybe a 3rd round or something like that. Idk. Just passing on the info I heard.

Just trying to be realistic. I’ve been a ST holder since 2006. My tix prices have more than doubled in that time. And it’s increasing every year. This year my prices raised 6% I believe. Then I did something extremely stupid and moved to the clubs where they doubled again. That’s my fault. But it was done for a purpose. Because when the new stadium is built, the club seat members will be contacted first regarding seating options.

Of course it is. They are just increasing their ST price points now so that when the new stadium is built and they double the tix prices again it’s a huge gain for them. I think with the current increase they’ve had, and continue to have almost every season, they can inch into the new stadium. Then slowly raise prices every year after that. But I’d look for them to start with about double the tix prices.

It is going to be roughly 65k on paper but I’m not sure if the “party decks” that they have will be included in that. They are saying they may have up to 5-10k extra capacity for the party decks. Not sure if that will be in the 65k as I think they will be standing only options. Likely similar to the Sabres 200 level bar areas. I haven’t been to any newer stadium in the league where the standing room sections are utilized. Maybe those tix will be sold to non ST holders. Maybe it’s something you can buy as a ST holder. All things that will come to light eventually. Hopefully sooner than later. But the fact that there’s a 7k person waiting list already makes it a huge waiting list imo.

Yeah. Thought I heard that Dallas had some $50k PSLs in jerry world. depending on how bad they screw the average fan I may be in or out. We will find out soon because I’m pretty sure season tix holders will be contacted by this summer with options or at least with expectations of how they are going to handle it moving forward. To some people, being part of the experience is worth it. And to others, they may just renew their tix just to be able to sell them and make some money off then. I also would like to know moving forward how they plan to deal with ST holders once you pay the PSL. Is it yours to do which what you want? Can you then sell your PSL to someone else in the future? If there’s a huge waiting list, you may find someone willing to pay even double the PSL fee just to jump 10k people in line to get tickets. Time will tel.
