I watched that whole thing. Man I would be disappointed watching that game in real life. it’s about what I expected out of Harty tho. A few bad returns and 1 catch all game.

Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)

Thanks for posting. I managed to pull up right across the street from the stadium right there. But you can see there was workers putting up a fence as I was there. I’d imagine after the fence goes up they will put some covering on the fence so you won’t be able to see. but I did have a conversation with my buddy and we’re thinking a drone view once a week would be really cool. So we may be starting that soon. -

So. I drove by today and took some pictures. If someone wants to message me I’ll send you the pics and you can post them. The files are too large to post and I always have problems trying to downsize them. -
Worst part is Saffold just standing there watching his defender chase Josh all over the field

I thought about doing that. Driving by once a week to take a pic of the site. Get a complete before, during, and after it’s built. But I’m sure you won’t be able to see much from the street with the fences they will be putting up. but that gives me the idea. A buddy of mine lives only about 2 miles away down Parker Rd. Maybe I can convince him to let me take his drone out every week or so to get some good above pics. -
It’s still mcDs defense

Your screen name says it all. There’s no changing your mind in the subject. But you are wrong. Kelly was good, maybe even great. But Allen is a superstar. Not just one of the best at his position for his time. Possibly the best at his position and possibly the best player in the league. Allen 100% better than Kelly. and you commented about the talent in those teams then talk about the talent on the team during the drought years? The talent in the team during the drought years is about the same as the talent was at QB at those times. Pretty much non existent. The Bills had about 5 decent players in their 17 year drought.
-
People arguing that Kelly and Thomas were better are just comical. They weren’t even the best at their positions at the time. Barry Sanders and Emmitt Smith were both better than Thomas. And that’s not even considering Eric Dickerson, Bo Jackson, Marcus Allen. Kelly wasn’t as good as Marino, Elway, Moon, Young, Cunningham, Montana.

Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?

Yeah. Kincaid is the only one they made in the weapons group that really excites me and I believe will be promising.

I really hope we aren’t saying the same exact thing next year this time.

I just had to express my thoughts on it because it was a worry of mine as well as Jacks. More than anything. Think they miss out on an opportunity to really make it memorable for fans being able to go to the new stadium and personally sit in and pick out their seats. Something I was really looking forward to. I quickly realized that it wouldn’t happen with the timeline of the construction and the fact that it’s how society is moving in general. Technology with VR has become so good that it eliminates the need to personal touch. At least to some people or to some business that are more focused on the monetary aspect of it. -

I get all this. I’m not new to the technology available to show you everything. But @Just Jack is right in the argument he’s trying to make. I’ve sat in his exact seats. Along with about 50 other seats in the clubs in the current stadium. I can tell you his seats are extremely more roomy than any other seat in the clubs. other seats I’ve sat in appear identical. Except the seat sits a little different somehow. I can tell you of the 50 or so seats I sat in at the current stadium, I experienced different types of leg room in almost all of them. Sometimes they are because the seat sits in more of a curve of the section that gives you much more leg room, like @Just Jack. Or because they sit on an odd or even row. For whatever reason, the odd rows and even rows have different leg rooms. It was super annoying and I don’t think VR is going to pick up the extra 1-2” of leg room you have in one seat or another. Maybe it’ll appear to show you the difference, but when you’re a 6’ individual, it’s not going to pick up the seat in front of you digging into your knees. I think I explained that well for Jack. -

Just not gonna happen Jack. Be prepared to drive up to Buffalo this summer to virtually “sit” in your seats and drop some money for a PSL -
Ugh. For the last time. People are so coercing more out of them than 35 receptions. They are sure talking like it. And the Bills are sure paying Harty more than enough to expect more. im done with the argument. it’s proven statistically they are not even as good as we’ve had. We will be disappointed when the year is up is my opinion. Take it however you want. I’m clearly not Changing your mind and you clearly aren’t changing mine.

Well. Not this time. This time you will show up to an offsite office in the Tony Walker Centre in Williamsville/Snyder and you will go through your designated rep from a 3rd party company, exact routes you will take from your front door to your seat. Picking your seat out of a virtual template. yeah, I think it kind of stinks too. -
The problem is it’s not an insurmountable feat. It was pretty poor. The point is the guys we picked up have produced less than what we had. Which was poor. Expecting more out of them than what they have historically done is the problem.
-
So what you’re saying is a guy that is often injured (26 games over 4 season) and has never produced as much as our bad slot guy from last year is the answer. And you’re convinced he won’t get injured again, or will out produce what he literally has never done in his career. Got it. So with Hill and Waddle in the field taking up all the defenders looks, and he still couldn’t put produce a bad McKenzie. Got it. McKenzie was bad. Has always been pretty bad. I’m using him as a comparison to the 2 WRs we picked up that people seem to think will be better than what we had last year. But have never even produced as much as a bad McKenzie. Just stop
-
I agree 100% with all of this. I just don’t want to be one of the people assuming we got better because history and statistics have proven that neither of these guys is better than what we had last year. I’ll hope we will be better. I just think it’s a little premature to expect it.
-
Thank you. This x100
-
The term “improvement” is a reach. Considering neither of them have accomplished what McKenzie has. Again. We’re basing how the WR group will look against last year.
-
Let’s not kid ourselves. The guy, just like Harry still hasn’t had a season as good as McKenzie has in this league. And I think we all agree that McKenzie kind of sucked. I have no issue with the signing or hoping he will be something more than what we had last year. I’m just tired of the arguments that we’ve upgraded at the WR position when neither Sherfield or Harty have had as good as a season as McKenzie has. And he had a career year last season. Let’s just call it what it is, a guy that’s likely our 5th or 6h receiving option. Someone that will likely see more time chasing down punts than he will on offense. Once we all get rid of the lofty expectations we can have legitimate discussions about what our WR corp might look like this year.
-
So…. Lunch pal to work kind of guy that was undrafted and likes to work on special teams. Got it. Doesn’t sound like another Kumerow to me at all. Look for about 12 catches on the season for him. But probably 14 ST tackles.
