As much as I’ve complained about everything I have always said that when the time comes I’d be excited about it. Even thought there’s things I think/thought they should have done differently, I have always said that it would be a massive upgrade and really cool. Always said I’d be excited to pick out my seats and be there for the opening game.

New stadium official groundbreaking - Monday morning (6/5/2023)
mrags replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was there about a week ago. It’s all been plowed up into mounds on the north and west ends. There’s a large ditch in the middle of it. I had someone post pics about 2 weeks ago and since then it’s gotten more work. I could probably take a ride out there in the next week or so for more pics -
Little Help - Getting to airport after the game
mrags replied to berndog's topic in The Stadium Wall
To add to some of the comments here. You can definitely park over a half mile away and get away from traffic. However, by the time you make it to your car weaving in and out of all the other people walking out, some of the traffic has already built up and you may get stuck. It’s really all about a sweet spot of getting to your vehicle as quickly as possible to avoid a long walk, and to get on the road quicker than everyone else is. If you walk too far down California towards southwestern the walk could be so long that there’s already a cavalcade of cars waiting by the time you get there. Parking in the right lot, facing out towards the street so you don’t have to wait in line in the lot just to get on the road. And getting into moving streets as quickly as possible. -
Little Help - Getting to airport after the game

It’s been a long time since I’ve parked in the stadium lots. But to my knowledge it’s all Disney style parking now. Where you don’t get the opportunity to pick where you park. You will go where they direct you. Pretty sure this all changed in this way back around 2012ish. Back when the nfl restricted tailgating to 5hrs before the game. I made the mistake of doing it once and never made that mistake again. your 100% right about California. If you’re going the southwestern until it turns to transit route, the park just east of California on southwestern. There’s only a few lots over there but because of the policed intersection at southwestern and California you can pretty much pull right out without the worry of any vehicle traffic when they stop traffic for pedestrians. You just have to make your way through the pedestrians and you’re out on the road. I’ve made it from my seat in the stadium to my driveway in less than 30 minutes. That’s with a 10+ minute walk back to my car and a 20 minute or so drive back to Lancaster area. -
Pleasantly surprised and pleased after watching that. I’ve had my doubts and grumblings about this thing from pretty much the start. I get I won’t be happy with everything, always have. But watching this has impressed me somewhat. Yes I’ll still wish some things were done differently. Don’t worry I’ll still complain about something. But I’m excited about it overall.

Little Help - Getting to airport after the game
mrags replied to berndog's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah pretty much impossible to get to the airport in 25 minutes from the stadium. In fact it’s 20 minutes door to door from the stadium to the airport with zero traffic. That’s going the 219 to the 90, to the 33. On game day this would absolutely not be the fastest way. The fastest way would be to head north on southwestern until transit rd. Follow that all the way to genesee. GPS says 26 minutes with no traffic but it’s likely faster than the other way because of traffic. Of course it also depends on where you park really. If you are on the north/east side of the stadium you can get out quickly and head north on southwestern. If you’re in the north/west side of the stadium it may be quicker to go the route of the 90/33, but it definitely going to depend on traffic until you get to the 90. If you are south of the stadium the only possible way this works is if your far enough east of the stadium on big tree and. A get right out of whatever lot you’re in. Get onto the 219 asap and then go the 90 to 33 route. like I said, it really depends on where you park. If your on Abbott rd south of the stadium you won’t be going anywhere for at least 60-90 minutes after the game ends. good luck @berndog -
What a shocker. The POS that assaulted and abused someone before did it again. Something about a leopard……… cheetah changing his spots.

Which is opposite of what I recall him being his first 2 seasons. He was super dependable with big moments on the line. Specifically thinking of the Colts playoff game. He came up with a couple catches that really won that game for us. I remember others but those sideline catches that game were amazing.

I guess I’ll have to accept that I’ll continue to bring realistic argument and discussion to topics. Instead of replying to topics with responses like “doesn’t matter. They were doing it either way. He “approved” it when he signed his deal.” It’s amazing how many times I have to remind people that we’re on a message board for topics of discussion/argument, and information. Not just to post useless information. things were so much better before BBMB closed and sent so many useless individuals here.

Actually you replied to a comment that regardless if Diggs knew about the restructure or not it happened and it’s over so pointless to bring up the discussion. You have been zero help on the subject and are no longer needed in this thread. You can go now.
-
Actually nobody answered if Diggs signed his restructured deal. People actually didn’t confirm anything that was asked. Only the possibility of what could have happened. Thanks for your input again. I’m not sure what you aren’t getting by continuing to come back to this thread and not answer the question that was asked. But thanks again for playing.

That’s not an answer to the question I asked. Thanks for the input https://www.walmart.com/browse/health/latex-disposable-gloves/black/976760_2571007_6523208/Y29sb3I6QmxhY2sie

And according to the link provided it states he doesn’t need to if it was a minimal restructure. so I guess the question is, does anyone know, or did anyone document back in March if Diggs was approached about the restructure, or if he did approve of it?
-
So, to the original question. Does Diggs have to approve of the change? Is he even asked about it or can the team just do it at their own will.
-
Not sure if true but could make a case for being upset that even though he gets more of his money up front, he might lose some money overall and be upset about it.
-
Well. It was more possible than it is now.
-
Because maybe he wanted to be traded to Dallas to play with his brother. Or maybe he isn’t a fan of the direction of the team and wants to be traded. End of the day, he may have his reasons and now because of the restructure it’s not possible for more than 2 years.

All In fun

This is why I brought it up. let’s just say that in the event that Diggs was disgruntled after the Bengals game. And legitimately was hoping for a trade, maybe wanted to play with his brother in Dallas, Who knows, anything is possible. But maybe he was hoping for this to happen. Maybe not this year, maybe he wanted to give it one more year. But wanted the option to be there. And after this restructure it pretty much guarantees that he will not be traded because of cap/dead cap hit. Maybe, just maybe that’s why he’s against disgruntled and not at camp. I'm not implying anything. Not saying it is the case. I’m looking for reasons that might make sense. and, I was arguing with someone (shocker right?) about the specifics of restructuring and they said that Diggs never should have signed the restructure then if that’s what he wanted. And I argued that he probably didn’t have an option, that the Bills did it on their own without his say in the matter. They disagreed and said he had to agree to it. I said they were wrong, and now I’m here for confirmation.
-
Did the player have to agree with that and sign off in that in the original contract? Or do teams just have the right of restructure? based on the link below, it shows that there are 2 different types of restructures, where one is not needed for the team to do it on their own. Where is with the other it is needed for the player to agree to the terms. https://overthecap.com/restructure was it a simple restructure or a max restructure?

As opposed to being great there also?
