  1. I understand this. From what I can find, Minneapolis has approx 10k hotel rooms. And that is a solid site I found. Buffalo, however I cannot find an updated link. I found an article from 2019 that said roughly 2,500 hotel rooms. And that is likely pretty accurate but I’d bet it’s at least 3k if not closer to 4k or even more now as that link was 4 years old. Either way, I’m not arguing that point. And I’m not sure what the minimum number of hotel rooms is for the NFLs Super Bowl must haves list. But I’ll say this, and what I’ve argued so much in the past. Building the stadium where they are now does nothing for the area. Does nothing for the rejuvenation of the city or surrounding areas. There’s already a stadium in its place and it doesn’t provide anything. A new stadium downtown likely would have brought at least a few new hotels to the area. Add in another 1-2k rooms I’d imagine. Multiple jobs, restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. whatever, I’ve argued this point to no avail in the past. I’m not going to go crazy about it. Was just some observations Yeah there’s pretty much zero chance of us getting a baseball team. Couldn’t support it and personally in this area I think it would be stupid. Nothing worse than watching baseball games with snow at the end of the seasons.
  2. Yes I know it’s still a lot more. But many people will point to metro areas but then decline to add buffalos metro areas as well. It’s 1.3ish. Yes I know you are not insinuating that. And I’m not pretending to know for sure. Because again, I haven’t been there.
  3. Like I said. I’ve never been there. So I can’t speak from experience. Apparently you can. All I’m going by is what I’ve seen on tv and read about. According to wiki the population of Minneapolis is just over 418k which is actually down from 430k in 2020. I’ll just shut up as I have no basis of an argument.
  4. I just sold my pair in the clubs for dirt cheap. $30 each tix. Had them on there and the prices kept dropping and dropping. Had to take what I could get. My fathers in town and there’s no way at 85 he’s walking around that place.
  5. I don’t think that’s the point. Of course Buffalo is no match for NYC and it’s 8.5M people and all its tourists every year. The point is more like Buffalo is very close to on par with Minneapolis and Detroit. I haven’t been to either but I’ve seen pictures, watched shows, read about them and they really seem to be similar in many ways. Including winter weather. So the point is, if those cities can host Super Bowls, why not Buffalo. Other than the obvious that our current stadium and lack of a dome doesn’t permit it.
  6. I don’t disagree. One of the reasons why I’ve had the pics uploaded here. @Draconator has helped as I’m not very computer savvy. I’m sure I’ll be driving by and taking pics again fairly soon but I’d imagine after this weekend there’s gonna be a ton of updates with the preseason game
  7. or defend the decisions without having the full picture… 😉
  8. I can confirm from my experience of driving by the stadium that you are in prefect on many of your arguments. Just because you see in the video there’s one excavator and one truck doesn’t make it so. They have a lot of them on site. I’ve personally driven down southwestern and witnessed a half a dozen trucks full of earth in the matter of 1 minute exiting the stadium lot for the ECC campus. they also IMO seem to be moving rather quickly. The hike in the ground is massive. Absolutely massive. Looks to be about 30ft deep and I’d say it’s about 100x200 yards. The video clips you are seeing don’t show it but I think they are very far along. I’ve been there at least 6-8 times since they broke ground. There really is some significant progress imo. Just curious what happened if you already paid your 10k PSL. Did they refund you 5k at a later time?
  9. I don’t know about lot 1. Haven’t parked in Bills lots in at least 10 years. But everything else is what I’ve been saying. The amount of parking they’ve lost isn’t much at this point. There really isn’t that many campers that go and tailgate village took up a lot of space from that lot also. Imo they probably lost no more than a few thousand spots.
  10. Simple answer is… NO. as it is, many STH aren’t going to be able to afford them with the prices and PSLs they expected before any overages. Imo it’s one of the reasons why they are building. Stadium that’s going to seat 10k less people. Create more demand so they can raise prices and always have a waiting list. As @SoCal Deekhas stated multiple times. They should be able to completely provide a video and stills of what it’s expected to look like. Something isn’t right for sure. Or they want to be super secretive for a reason.
  11. In other words, because of the ridiculous inflation, you took a massive pay cut.
  12. Personally I don’t think much parking is or will be lost. Most of the lot that has been blocked off has been used for campers. And some busses. I personally don’t know anyone that parks over there. I haven’t been in that lot in over 20 years. It’s a very large lot, but not a lot of cars park there and tailgate. Even over the past few years the Bills cut parking out of that lot and created corporate tailgating. Yes, it will cut out some parking but I personally don’t feel like too much will be effected. We will see as time goes on.
  13. Understatement. But don’t advertise that. I’m hoping to watch the idiots try and show up at normal times and complain they can’t find parking spots
  14. Yeah well, I kept telling everyone about what was going to happen months ago with this new stadium and nobody wanted to listen to me. Usually @Heitz car door is a good spot
  15. Yeah consider me one I’d those people. Extra roster spots taken up by ST players is the biggest waste of salary, resources, and roster spots that I could imagine. And that was before all the new rules that are in place to all but eliminate kickoffs going forward. The only time I think an additional roster spot should be taken for STs is for a generational returner. I’m not talking about a Roscoe Parrish or Terrence McGee, I’m talking about Dante Hall or Devin Hester. Anything other than that is a waste of funds and roster spots set aside for players that could actually provide something on offense or defense.
  16. I think this list is pretty close to accurate. I think I’d put Morris on there instead of Sternberger. Just think they really like him and his familiarity with the team. Also think Gillaim makes it. He’s a 4th RB, FB, and TE all in one. Not saying I think they need him but I think they like him. If they keep Sternberger they will keep Gilliam. If they keep Morris then maybe not.
  17. Oh. Didn’t see that. Had hope for him. Was an early to mod round pick and had some potential I thought. Must be like Glass Watkins why the Bills cut bait so fast.
  18. Looking at that list what happened to the kid we picked up from the. Kings at CB? Dantzler maybe?
  19. Anything behind Hammers is fenced off. You won’t have access to it.
  20. He prolly means me I really thought I was gonna get Peter Panned here. Although it could be an entire message board dedicated to Peter and I wouldn’t have the slightest clue.
  21. Look at him side by side next to Milano and say that
  22. What’s Kyle Allen rubbing then? Oh boy
  23. Well. I mean I’m factually incorrect considering he IS IN THE NFL now. Bit imo he will never get significant playing time. The most he will we be is a special teamer and at best a backup. He’s too small to play the position in the League. Of course I’ll continue to hear and see evidence of players being similar sizes and blah blah blah. I guess I’ll hope I’m going to be wrong but I’d put money on it that I’m right.
  24. Well I mean Bernard got on the field for a seriously low number of snaps last year. And he can’t seem to ensure a starting spot over an undrafted MLB and a 7th round pick so far. So I’d say it’s a long shot.
