He was elite in game film. He also had the pleasure of working with one of the best of not the best HC of all time. He also won his first 3 SBs when they were a very balanced offense with a good running game and phenomenal defense. we have McDermott and Frazier. Yeah, imo it’s a long shot it ever happens with this coaching staff. But Josh is so good and talented he may be able to counter the bad coaching luck.

Josh doesn’t have any issues reading defenses. The offense has been top 5 in the league for the last 3 years. You don’t get to that level and have problems reading defenses. He’s highly regarded as one of the most elite QBs in the league. You don’t get there by having problems reading defenses. You do get there however by no name idiots making up stories about you for click bait so their Twitter followers increases. This

Directv has been in a dispute with Nextar for a while now. Had to bring the old antenna out of the basement junk pile for the preseason games. I feel like they do this every single year leading up to the nfl season and it always gets resolved when someone flinches because they are at a risk of losing money. im sure it’ll be fine again this time as well. But in honesty, it’s given me thoughts for the first time about cutting the cord and just streaming one or 2 platforms.

This is where I’m at. I don’t expect it. In fact I think many want it and we end up being disappointed in the end. But the thought of a 3 safety D geeks me out. If we don’t have a LB that can cover the size aspect then go with the next best thing. I’d be much more comfortable with 3S on the field against teams with weapons at TE or a team like NE that is going to have to run to be effective.

I’d go with the importance of the position in this case. But again, I can’t stand either of them. The EO pick made me ill and Edmunds I was excited about and has all the talent in the world but just Cabrera put it together.

I can’t stand Edmunds. But I agree I’d rather have him at the contract he got than Ed with the contract he got. people will be in a tizzy about it but that’s on Beane and McD for not addressing the position properly. The undersized and underweight LBs they over drafted the last 2 years are not the problem. The FO and coaching staff thinking they could take Uber as MLB however is the problem. This I 100% agree with. I’ve never really been a huge fan of Edmunds. Especially for the contract he got. But honestly I’d rather have Edmunds at his contract and let Oliver go than the route we took. But everyone wants to give Beane and McDermott so much praise they can’t be wrong right.

Eh. There was definitely enough hype with Williams and honestly, there was mixed feelings about Maybin as well. either way, the argument isn’t that people thought he would be bad. The argument is they were first round picks that were useless in the NFL.
