Left the house and went to the A's game; Asked the sports Gods to help out with a win for each of my favorite teams. Of course sports Gods can only grant one wish; A's win! Bills lose. My daughter tried to warn me; said I was asking for too much. I did get greedy. At least I didn't upset the sports Gods too much; A's won!!

David Lee? Isn't he under contract thru 2016? I think he has completely healed from his injury and will be needed if the Warriors hope to make the playoffs.

Been to a few Bill/Niner games. I've been harassed pretty good, on the verge of it getting out of control. Niner fans can be a notch just below Raider fan. I think it all depends on where you sit (but the parking lot is a free for all that you must maneuver). If you're in the lower priced end zone area, you might be asking for trouble. Whenever I've sat in the upper reaches of the park where I get my seats from Niner fans w/ season tickets...then it's a fairly good experience. I've been to games all over the west coast (w/ the exception of Oakland...won't go there), SF was the only place I had issues with. Thus I won't be going this year. I think a winning team, breads a bit of confidence and cockiness amongst the fan base. Don't want to deal w/ that, especially if the kids go with.

Arizona doesn't follow the rest of the nation and observe daylight savings time. Currently Arizona is 3hrs behind Buffalo and on Pacific Time. The next time change is in November, so they'll still be 3hrs behind....AND...for the most part, Arizona is damn near West Coast, technically Southwest but it's only a 5 hour drive from LA.

Unfortunately, the A's and Bills are the teams I follow most closely.

One of my daughters says to me after the Bills game yesterday. Dad, why do all the teams you like suck (Bills, Warriors, A's, Sabres)? What can you say to that besides, I'm blessed in so many areas in life...to even things out, I've been punished by the selection of my sports teams. Not fun being a sports fan the past....two decades, if not longer.

I saw nothing wrong w/ it....would have been better if he proposed to her. Perfect opportunity.
